Food was good, but two minor complaints. First, Curbside Pickup usually means they bring it to your car, not that I have to get out and walk up to a little table in front of the store to retrieve my order. Best fast Mexican food place I have ever been too! There Chile Verde plate and there beef tacos are delicious! Before, at the drive they would take forever but now it doesn't take as long as before. I prefer eating here rather than eating from El Pollo Loco right across the gas station. Yesterday I had pops burrito with carne asada from the Miguel's on Hamner and although it was fall apart messy it was deliciousthe carne asada was so tender and tasty that I was in the Staters parking lot on River Road and decided to drive through the Miguel's there and try the carne asada quesadilla. I ate about 1/2 of it and couldn't decide what flavor I was tasting. I tried covering the taste up with guacamole and with their hot sauce, but it didn't taste that great and then I realized that the asada was burned and it had that taste of the meat burning on the grill. We tried this location when it first opened, and there was plastic from the Bags of rice in my food.. tried again tonight and still not good . The green salsa was spoiled in the salsa dispenser...I told the girl and she told me she doesn't eat the salsa. My first time going was a few weeks ago and I ordered the chicken tacos which were good even though they cost almost $3 each. I decided to go again. This time I ordered two carne Asada Tacos which cost $3.59 each!!! This is a lot more than what I'm used to paying and expected an amazing and large taco. I opened up my first taco and saw it was not cooked and opened the second one and it was not cooked as well. Actually they were both red I called the restaurant to make sure they didn't mess up and they told me they always make they're carne Asada red As you can see from the picture , they didnt look appetizing. I went back and they offered to make them well done. As you can see from the picture they look a lot better and taste decent. I love there shredded beef taco. And the hot sauce makes them even better. Another one of my favorites is the chorizo and eggs burrito. I didn't care for there taquitos, the guacamole is watery. They do have good Coke. If your a big soda coke fan. But best of all is the customer service. The drive thru guys Justin is hilarious always smiling. He loves a good joke. But surprisingly when I looked this up on Yelp I found this location had three stars and I can see why. I ordered a carnitas asada burrito and after about half the meat chewing it about 40 times each and then spitting it out I realize the meat was the lowest quality I'd ever seen. My wife ordered a bean rice and cheese burrito and surprise it had absolutely no beans, it was totally rice with potato for some odd reason. If i could leave zero stars i would. Online ordering has proved to be a waste of time. If you do use their online ordering service just sit at the window till you make sure all items accounted for. They are notorious for forgetting food items and/or forgetting your drink. The manager is nonapologetic as well. The excuse is that they are busy. Miguel's Jr is always busy. They offer to replace the food item but you receive an attitude for basically inconveniencing them by expecting her to do her job. So you are basically treated as your order didn't matter since others are still buying. I have never been to an establishment that treats their customers so poorly. I work in customer service as well and would never speak condescendingly to any customer for any reason. I'm just advising others to beware so they do not have to be subject to such awful customer service. Next review will be sent to corporate.
