I love Miguel's but this particular location has disappointed me almost every time. I go to a Miguel's at least once a week and usually twice. Today my bean and cheese burritos from this location were smaller than the size of the kids meal and had almost no beans. Both burritos were about 75% cheese. I love cheese, but what is so great about Miguel's is their beans. Last time I was at this location they gave me the wrong burritos completely so I guess this was better than that. I will continue to visit other locations but not sure I will visit this one again. Super disappointed. read more

I happened to have a reason to be in the neighborhood last month. I needed lunch and a place to hang out for a while. I've been to other Miguel's Jr restaurants and know that it is an okay place. I ordered a combo with a chicken enchilada and a chicken taco. The food was good. My issue was with the condiment bar. It did not have salsa. You have to ask for the salsa and you can only get a couple. I have not experienced this at other Miguel's Jr restaurants. It's kind of a deal breaker for me to return to this restaurant. Salsa is not expensive to make and I don't like when restaurants keep it under lock and key. read more

I have eaten at Miguel's jr at least 100 times. Today worst burrito I ever had. I ordered two chicken and cheese burritos. Quick service day only 3-5 minutes, and want to know why? Cold chicken and the cheese never melted the chicken was so cold. I'll wait a couple months before I get another one from this store. Hopefully they hire more capable employees who know how to at least microwave the chicken before putting it in the burrito. read more

Been dissatisfied with the order accuracy. I have ordered multiple times from the drive thru and have been given the incorrect burrito three times. The orders have all been bean and cheese burritos, but have been given bean, cheese, and rice instead. The receipt indicates the correct type of burritos. This is the worst Miguel's location ever. The first time I went there I ordered a bean cheese and potato burrito. When I got home all it had in it was rice and potato no beans. The next time I sent my daughter over to buy food. Again the bean cheese and potato burrito had rice in it and her boyfriends bean and cheese burrito had a chicken taquito stuffed inside. I decided to try it again today. Big mistake. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito. I cut it in half and it had rice and a chicken taquito inside!!!! How hard is it to make a bean and cheese burrito?? I don't know who's running this place or what kind of cooks they have but it's horrible and it sucks. I will not recommend it and I will never go back there again. Unfortunately today, while grabbing my burrito to eat. It fell apart. It was poorly wrapped & rice was fall out of the wrapper. Then I take a bite & there is beef in my burrito & no beans! However I had completely forgotten and drive thru Miguel's after a long day, I'm disabled and after all my doctors appointments I was just too exhausted to cook. Literally today has been one disaster after another, insurance issues and levels not being where they needed to be. She didn't know any of my health issues yet still treated me with dignity and respect and gave me my burrito. You have no idea how much your small act of kindness affected my day. Had lunch with the family and our tacos were messed up wrong quantity and wrong kind. Ordered lemonade and they charge .80 to refill. No salsa bar they keep that behind the counter. The containers the salsa comes in is so small you can't dip your chips so we had to transfer salsa from one container to another. Just not excited about this location. Worst customer service!! When I got home I discovered they had forgotten three of my items. I called them and they put me on hold three times to figure out what to do and then told me to just come in and get them. They told me I could come in or go through the drive-thru. Hi there I am hoping someone can help me with a recent online delivery I placed via Yelp. I am a frequent customer and purchase food from the Norco Village location roughly 2-3 times a week. The main issue was two of the nachos I ordered tonight. The cheese was completely over cooked and rock hard. It appeared to have been microwaved for too long. We also had a children's quesadilla meal which was rock hard and almost burnt. I have photos if those are needed. On top of that, I have had several issues with one of your associates who usually works in the evenings. She has long dark hair and is Hispanic. I've placed two catering sized orders in the last month with you and she has been very unpleasant. I genuinely enjoy your food and wish to continue being a loyal customer in the future. Cashier at the drive through was really nice but the cooks can't make burritos. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and I paid extra to add potatoes. I had one maybe two pieces of potato in my burrito. And it wasn't even wrapped properly. It was open on the bottom it was completely ripped so it was a disaster as you can imagine. I finally have had enough bad experiences here that I'm finally forced to write a review. I'm sitting here at home with the two chicken enchilada combination plate I ordered. After waiting in line at the drive thru for quite a while I got my food and took it home. I noticed right away the container was super light compared to normal. There was half a plate of watery beans and very little of the usually tasty rice. All of the food was stone cold. This has happened to me quite a number of times at this location and I'm tired of it! The food is cold and the cheese was not even melted. My friend from down the street suggested I drive to the Miguel's Jr on Hamner, he and his family prefer that one. I've stopped in here for lunch and dinner on many occasions. My husband and I throw a super bowl party every year and we decided that this year, we wanted to do the catering through this restaurant. The price for the food was very reasonable and the food was delicious. It was hot and fresh when we served it! It was all marked and easy to read and my guests devoured it. Those two large trays fed 23 people. Fortunately I had plenty leftover for lunch this week! Bonus perks, the taco tray came with plenty of chips and salsa. The burrito tray came with a side sauce to make it a wet burrito. Omg so so good. Inconsistent. My family and I have a thing for Miguel's breakfast burritos so we order them a lot. Last time I ordered three green pigs and they were all hot, delicious, and packed with meat. I was just in the drive thru line behind a lady who was screaming (I'm guessing it's not the first person she has screamed at today). The guy was calm and yet she was cussing and yelling, everyone was honking at her. When I finally pulled up to the window, the employee apologized first and I told him not to worry. It seemed like she was being a handful. He was graceful not to disrespect the customer even though she deserved it, and then gave me 50% off my meal for enduring her rage that slowed the line down. My husbands favorite place to eat. Mine not so much. Food is bland Looks are deceiving because plates look very good. I walk away with full stomach but disappointed for flavor. We eat at many Miguel's because of the husband but this one is my favorite because it is clean and free of homeless people doing drugs in the bathroom like other locations. I wanted to go to Rancho Taco Shop on 2nd....but it was Monday and they are closed...so I tried Miguel's Jr. First time here. We ordered for 5 people, take out. 3 complaints....in the taco plate, they put the tacos into the rice and beans, so by the time you get home....the bottom of the taco shell has melted away and the whole thing just falls apart. Nobody wants to use a fork to eat a taco that fell apart and became a salad. We ordered multiple orders of taquitos...they don't come with guacamole...it's that green avocado sauce. Big difference. They should put this on the sign when ordering...I would not have ordered these. Lastly...I'm not sure what is up with their drinking cups...but it's like they are made of waxed tissue paper LOL You LITERALLY can't pick up the soda by the sides of the cup. You have to wrap your fingers around the very bottom and pick it up that way....if you even touch the sides of the cup, it just crushes in. I thought it was just me...so I asked the hubbs....how is your soda? His reply....OMG I can't even pick it up without crushing the cup. So maybe they tried to save a few pennies by getting thinner cups??? But this needs to be looked into. You literally can't pick it up. I legit have been to Miguel's plenty of times since my stay in So Cal during this summer break. Miguel's is not everywhere so if you happen to Yelp it and are close, you must stop in. It's incredible how much I love their red hot. I drench everything I get in this sauce. I basically always order the mini bean and rice burrito or the bean tacos. I do not care if you think you know where the bomb taco spot is, Miguel's is the best hands down. Better than Albertos! Yeah. I said it. Another thing is that they have the BEST guac dip. Creamy chunky avo goodness. The guac is so delicious, I love putting it on my burrito and tacos too. Do not expect to stay in line with your diet here. I usually have huge meals here before leg day. Calorie intake is key! I wish they were open 24 hours though dang. I will always keep you at #1 on my list for Mexican home style food in So Cal. read more
