We went here when we and it was kind of late so we didn't have many options because everything seems to close 8/9/10. We decided to try this spot and was pleasantly surprised. The food is authentic and seasoned well. And.priced right. I would for sure come back.

We got take out for our order. We got the Taco Tuesday $1.25 cents trompo, chicken, and carnitas specials! We also got an order of cheese quesadilla and chips and guac. We put our order in over the phone. It took a solid 10 minutes. Mijas Taqueria had our order ready when we arrived. It was nice and packed neatly. She was really nice when we got the order. The food was great! Tastes like authentic tacos, and it was still hot when we ate it at home. We got plenty of sauce, onions, lime, and cilantro with our tacos too. Definitely recommend!

THIS IS MY NEW TACO SPOT!!! I live right around the corner and OMG I am so upset I didn't try this place sooner!! The tacos were out of the park delicious, some of the meats we ordered were deliciously seasoned and while some were JUICY with richness and sauce. My absolute faves were trompo, barbacoa and birria. The flavor on these... insane. Not only that, the price is just right (cheaper than some around the area), impressive menu selections, and the amount of small sides you get in addition to the tacos are a plus (see my pic!! The picked vegetables were awesome). The spicy sauces that come with the tacos were also yummy. You get so much food for the price you pay!! I will definitely be back to try more of the menu and to get my top 3s.

This is a good Mexican spot in Wylie. The food has always been great. You stand in line to order and they bring you your food order . The service is good, the staff is friendly.

A simple, clean, location... plenty of tables for groups, great home style taste of Mexico. Simple picnic tables, no padded seats. 2 restrooms, clean & decent. Covered patio in front, all parking in front, right off Hwy 78. Very big menu, read it online before arriving here. Mija's was down in Rowlett, and was good, but location was bad for traffic reasons. Up here, this is perfect fight. Like visiting a small town in Mexico? The big screens all had soccer games, from around the world. Frozen Margaritas, prepared beer Micheladas, y más! Ice cold. I enjoyed Quesabirrias, with consumé, juicy meat & cheesy! Also, I tried a Breakfast Burrito with Trompo meat, and it was also good. Mexican paletas ice cream in feezer, and really nice desserts in cooler. Look for the Dollar General sign, and turn in, Mija's is in brick building next to Los Munchies.

Love this place for delicious Mexican food! My husband and I love ordering the birria items on the menu, and really, any of their tacos are amazing. Service is always quick and friendly with laidback environment. Would recommend!

A quaint and convenient taco place in Wylie... that is quick in service and the staff is nice. You can't go wrong with a classic taco plate, which includes three tacos plus beans and rice. Their fried options are good too. Their breakfast tacos are also bomb!

Great food, service, and prices. My husband and I were blown away with this establishment after trying this place on a whim. It was hard to decide what to order because the vast variety of choices on the menu (including breakfast). I encourage anybody who has, or hasn't been curious about Mijas to try it for themselves. Our food came out so quick and fresh, you can taste quality was not compromised. Safe to say this our new favorite spot. I would die for Mijas

Visited on a whim after a night out. Mind you, this is not in my neighborhood but I'm in the mood for a new place to try, a drive to get my mind set on something's and maybe a special item to make me come back. It's in a weird corner lot location but I ain't complaining. The menu is extensive for a request is but they have all the basics and wasn't expecting to get a treat of Fresas con Crema with my meal. I ordered their beef chimichanga, tacos al pastor and a frozen Margarita while I wait. Everything is tasty and this maybe a place in my rotation list while in the area.

Stopped by for the first time to try the tacos and was pleasantly surprised. A lot of friends have raved about this place, so I wanted to give them a try. The tacos al pastor were tasty, I was better pleased with the amount of cilantro and limes they give with each plate, usually one has to ask for more. My husband has the carnitas taco, tinga and fajita, the tinga was his favorite. The place wasn't crowded which was great, however I was disappointed to see none of the staff members that were within view were wearing masks. Hand sanitizer was available. Definitely worth trying.

The main ingredient in our food was oily red grease. Food wasn't made at all as described on the menu or as ordered.

There is a certain energy in a restaurant when people trust it, and Creekside has that. We started with the crab and shrimp dip, which came out hot, creamy, and loaded with flavor. It is one of those appetizers that everyone at the table keeps going back to without even thinking about it. For dinner, we ordered the Red Snapper Alexander and the chicken cutlet parmesan, and this is where the night really took off. The red snapper was cooked perfectly, topped with sautéed shrimp in a white wine sauce that added flavor without overwhelming the fish. The balance was impressive, and the presentation matched what you would expect from a much higher priced restaurant. Then there was the chicken parmesan. As Italians, we do not say this lightly, but this dish stood out in a big way. Creekside blends Alfredo and marinara into a creamy, well-balanced sauce that takes a classic and elevates it. The chicken was lightly breaded, the mozzarella was fresh, and every bite delivered. We awarded this dish our Best of the Best for Chicken Parmesan, and that is something we reserve for dishes that truly separate themselves from the rest. Service was excellent throughout the night. Our server Erin was attentive, knowledgeable, and helped guide us to some great choices. One small note, the fish and chips did not quite match the level we had experienced on a previous visit. It was still good, just not at the same level we had come to expect. That said, it did not take away from what was otherwise a fantastic meal. If you are looking for a place that delivers an upscale feel without the upscale price tag, this is it. Great for date nights, family dinners, or just a night out where you want consistently good food.

So far I have only visited for breakfast and have enjoyed the bacon and egg plate. Flour tortillas have been some of the best that I have found in the Dallas area and the refried beans are good. I typically get their taco salad, and I've never had an issue until tonight! My husband ordered the crunchy taco dinner plate, and he said the refried beans must be the culprit as his were terribly salty too! I still give a 4 star as it's really a great location, and we don't usually have any issues! The service is great, the employees are kind and the food is Always fresh!
