A couple of years ago, it was run by a family--husband and wife working the counter, maybe even some of their kids helping out. Back then, the pizza was solid. But since the most recent change in ownership, it's just... okay. If you're from New York and expecting that classic New York-style pizza, this isn't quite it. It's not bad, but it's nothing special. The people working there are polite, but something about the pizza has changed--maybe the cost of ingredients is too high, maybe they're cutting corners, but the cheese is saltier, and the sausage isn't the same. We even called a couple of times to ask about the recipe changes because it was noticeable. If you live nearby and just want a quick slice, sure, it's convenient. But if you're willing to travel even a little bit, there are better options in the surrounding counties. I won't name them--you can do your own search--but trust me, they're out there. read more

I picked up pizza from Míjo previously and had a good experience. Today I got two slices of the grandmas pizza and I was very disappointed. The squares were dry , cheese looked like dry glue and the dough was super hard. If the slices were made hours and hours ago they should not be sold to the customer. As a child, I used to love to walk to Mijo's and enjoy their pizza. Now, the place is under new ownership but the place looks pretty much the same - coolers with a good assortment of cold beverages on the side and 7 tables that sit about 28 people comfortably. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap with cheese, lettuce, honey mustard and pickles and there was nothing spectacular about it. The chicken was good, however, they didn't have pickles. The wrap was a tad too toasted and hard in areas. The girl who served me was nice and patient. I did find it unusual to see a menu on the wall with items and no prices. As I was looking for garlic knots nearby my house, I found this restaurant on yelp. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. Because I came in around 4-5pm it was a bit empty however thats good for me since I wanted to get some garlic knots to go fast and head home. As I was standing infront of the counter to look at the menu more customers started to come in. The menu has a lot of options and I decided to not only get the garlic knots but also the chicken parmigiana garlic knot sliders. The parmigiana garlic knot sliders were pretty good! I love garlic so anything that has garlic on it is a weakness for me. In my opinion if you order one then you should be full for about 5 bucks. The garlic knots were good as well. It comes with tomato sauce. Super tasty. I will definitely return to try the pizza. read more

My go-to place for pizza. Pizza is excellent. Love banana peppers on the pizza but sometimes they don't have them in. Their pizza is definitely 4 stars. Their subs are usually great too- like the Italian and tuna. Their roast beef, now- not so much. They stopped carrying roast beef for a while and now they have it again but it's different from before- now it's a weird light gray and gross so I'd say pass on that. That's the only negative thing I have to say but I love a good roast beef sub so it is disappointing. The roast beef they previously carried was delicious. So that makes me sad. They've switched ownership a bunch of times so that may have something to do with the change in roast beef. I'd give this place 3.5 if I could but it is still my default pizza place so I'll round up to a 4. Plus the people inside are usually friendly. read more

First it says 4 riceballs, we got ONE HUGE one instead but it was not bad. The chicken fingers were ALL batter, no meat or VERY, VERY little meat.
