Great food and atmosphere. The decorations and booths were nice. The food was delicious and our host was very nice. Highly recommend them if you're in the mood for hand rolls.

Visited Mika sushi - got the tuna roll & spicy salmon roll which I lacked self discipline before taking the one photo and Sexy city in the second. Really nice presentation, food taste fresh. Glad they're so close to the house, cause I'll be back.

Decided to try a "new to me" sushi place for dinner with my husband this evening. The food was great, the service was great, the ambiance was great. Mika Sushi really deserves the 5/5 stars. For an appetizer my husband and I both tried the Miso Soup: the soup had a good taste and came to the table nice and hot. For entrees my husband ordered the Classic Tuna Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll. I personally didn't try either of these but his rating was 4 stars out of 5. I had the Signature Happy Roll. It was soooo good. I love a roll with mango in it, and this roll hit the spot! I give the Happy roll a 5/5. We both shared the Classic Spicy Bay Scallop Roll as well. This one was tough to rate because I didn't like the texture. My husband was not a big fan of the taste or texture either. He gave the rating of 3/5 for this roll. Overall, we will most likely be back to try a few other hand rolls in the future. The staff were extremely kind and checked in regularly. The establishment was kept clean and had a good feeling to it.

We came here on a Saturday and it was very quiet inside around 6pm The staff were all friendly & service was quick. They had a steady flow of takeout orders and only a few dine in but it's nice inside. Dark and modern decor We got the salmon belly hand roll, fancy uni hand roll, sashimi platter, spicy snow crab & spicy scallop rolls This was the perfect amount for 2 people The sashimi came with quite a few varying cuts and we were pleasantly surprised to see sea bream! I enjoyed the yellow tail belly & escolar & my husband favored the salmon & smoky sea bream The spicy scallop was good, the snow crab has crunch or something in it - both are spicier than expected! The salmon hand roll was good, smooth salmon. However the uni was super briny, like I didn't like it at all and we've had uni many times in the US and in Japan! I'm not sure what was going on with this one but at $22, I'd never order this again. The sashimi pieces are big and presentation was nice though This is a great option for east Cobb but if I'm in the mood to travel, I'd still choose chirori or shoya It's in a shopping center so plenty of parking available. It's not a huge restaurant but we didn't see all of the seating options so might have room for a party in the back

We had driven by several times and gave it a go this evening. I would sum it as an average spot. The service was outstanding as were the appetizer. The edamame was hot with just the right amount of salt. The vegetable tempura had a light, crisp batter and the dipping sauce was a great accompaniment. We ordered a variety of nigiri and rolls. the lack some freshness fish wise and weren't overly flavorful.

This was the best casual sushi spot I've had in a while! I ordered 3 hand rolls (tuna, salmon avocado, & shrimp tempura) and was STUFFED. For $8 a roll, you definitely get your moneys worth, the hand rolls are huge and packed with fish. We also ordered a chicken fried rice and the portion for it was great for the price! We even had enough to take home. The staff was so kind and attentive I'll definitely be back soon!

The way we have been waiting months for this place to open! This likely will become a go to lunch spot for us, or a evening bites because of location and menu style. The staff are super welcoming and ready to answer any and all questions, especially since they are so new. Their menu is split up for sushi, small bites, and sandwiches. We ordered the classic catch sushi combo box, 2 miso soups, salmon crispy rice, and a spicy chicken katsu sandwich. The spicy tuna here is probably one of the best spicy tunas I've ever had, both my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised. The katsu sandwich had a soft bread, which with the combo of the crispy chicken was exactly what we needed, and crinkle fries on the side to finish off the perfect dish. The only thing we were both mutually disappointed with was the miso, it lacked the Miso flavor, so if I could change anything I would probably not order that next time. I know I will be coming back many times, hopefully I will see you there!

I have enjoyed eating here the food is very good the customer service has always been very good I really like the sushi I'm always excited to try something different in the menu because I know it's going to be good

First of all it's beautiful inside. Warm dark tones and modern. This place can be classy at night I'm sure. The staff are very friendly. We come here for the sushi although there are other offerings. The sushi is skillfully made and the items are unique. You know the sushi restaurants that have the "standard" rolls you can find anywhere? This isn't it. We got two rolls but honestly I don't remember what they had in them. But they were pretty and very fresh! We also got the Bang Bang Shrimp which was excellent! The sauce is on the side so you actually get to taste the shrimp and the sauce had a nice Kick. Perfectly fried, well seasoned and fresh. We loved this!! Aside from sushi, you can get stuff like hibachi, noodles, etc. I went with several rolls and vegetable tempura. Everything was good though not notably exceptional. However, the real gem here is the price point ... which hit as *reasonable* by today's inflation standards. Interior dining space only ... and that isn't much to speak of, but it's functional and holds the stream of customers they get. It seems like they do a lot of carryout orders. Anyway, it's a spot worth checking out if you haven't been.

I was a little bit disappointed that they were seemingly unable to switch out any of the ingredients or liquors in the cocktails, especially since I don't like whiskey but some of the yummy cocktails had that as the listed liquor. Regardless, the cocktails we got were delicious. We got the sesame asparagus fries with white truffle aioli, the yellowtail jalapeño carpaccio, and the smoked toro. They were all literally out of this world and delivered with a smile. We then ordered the picante roll and she-sho fresh roll. They were both amazing including the sauces that came with each roll. Our friend, who joined us and has lived in Roswell for decades, recommended it. I booked our reservation using Resy. Zest qualifies for the American Express Resy Credit, if you have a qualifying card. This is a casual joint. It's spacious, with a bar, dining room, and outdoor brick sidewalk patio. At 3:30pm on a Saturday, the bar was mostly full, and by the time we left around 5:00pm, the dining room had already gotten decently busy. This place fits in nicely with walkable downtown Roswell. $5 paid parking is available in a surface lot directly across the street from the restaurant. Here's what four of us had: Cocktails * Pretty in Purple ($15) - Empress 1908 Gin, triple sec, cranberry juice, yuzu juice, simple syrup, dehydrated lemon Mocktails * Strawberry Basil Fizz ($7) - fresh lemon juice, strawberry puree, fresh basil, club soda, lemon wedge Sushi - Specialty Rolls * Allyson Roll ($16) - shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber, topped with eel, spicy mayo, soy glaze, tempura flakes, masago * Super Crunch Roll ($14) - masago, tempura flakes, spicy mayo, topped with steamed shrimp, soy glaze Oysters * Raw Gulf Oysters (6 for $11) - cocktail sauce, fresh horseradish, mignonette sauce Small Plates Graze * Edamame ($6) with garlic (+$1.50) - steamed soybeans, sea salt * Parmesan Truffle Fries ($7) - wasabi mayo, ketchup Surf * Salmon Poke Crunch ($15) - diced salmon, avocado, yuzu tobiko, spicy mayo, green onions, wonton crisps Turf * Thai Lettuce Wraps ($14) - chopped chicken, water chestnuts, red bell peppers, red onions, sesame seeds, carrot nest, Thai plum sauce * C.A.B. Steak Skewers ($16) - beef tenderloin, grilled red peppers, onions, zest sauce, sesame seeds In general, the food was fresh and tasty. There was not a single bad item. The menu has a good variety of options and my wife and I appreciated the lighter and healthier dishes. I thought the oysters were a decent value. I wouldn't say this is a "proper" sushi or tapas restaurant, but the food is good for what it is, which I'd describe as Americanized casual. Megumi was our server and she took great care of us. The floor was sticky. Zest opened in 2011, so it's stood the test of time. A second location opened in Cary, North Carolina in 2024.

I was not disappointed at all. Getting here you have to worry about parking because it's not free parking. There are spots and places around but generally speaking you have to either do street, lot, or parking garage parking. The parking garage is a little bit further away so I would not suggest that but there is plenty of parking lot parking. I'm just saying this because you're going to have to walk no matter what happens. There's a lot basically across the street and a lot basically on the block next to it but they are around $5 to $10. I didn't have a reservation but I still went in and got seated immediately. We got a seat in the back of the restaurant where they make and prepare the sushi so that was a good view. It's very nice and very clean there and the service was great. Mario was a server and took really good care of the table. He was definitely a boon and I would have no problem with him waiting on the same table that I was at again! Super cool guy. Diablo roll - So the roll was very good and very tasty. It was a nice sized roll and it had a really good flavor to it. Would I get it again? I would. Ramen - The ramen was good. It had very good presentation and everything like that, the only thing I needed was to add a little razzle dazzle to it. So the ramen itself was savory but it didn't have a punch like I would like. So I just asked them for some chili oil and that took it right where it needed to be. If you don't like spiced then that's not applicable to you LOL. But I like savory and heat and this fixed everything and made it right with the world! I thought this was a really good place and I would love to go again. Actually. They have a couple of other rolls that I would like to try.
