Been here several times in the past few months...ALWAYS PACKED and always consistent! Today the Country Benedict and I got photos. The biscuits are MASSIVE first and foremost. Dense with just enough spring to them. I should've asked for butter and honey because I'm sure they would've been really bomb! Sausage country gravy was good...could've been a tad warmer temp-wise...that's my preference. Green hatch chiles were awesome. Hash browns, request well done and crispy. Service is always attentive and professional. Parking is wonk, but the food and atmosphere is so well worth it!

I haven't been here for over 30 years. It's been renamed Mike's Place and Ronda's Place so, maybe they're back together or are on speaking terms. Lol I ordered biscuits and gravy, a cinnamon roll, and grits. The biscuits and gravy needed sausage drippings for me. This is just classic reux made of flour, milk, salt, and pepper. The biscuits looked like rolls but crumbled like biscuits. The cinnamon rolls was no fresh and was reheated. It came out really crunchy and hard. They brought out a second one and was soft but not necessarily better. It needed more butter and cinnamon and the glaze was horrible. The grits weren't anything better. Just your standard grits. Nothing special about it. Same thing with the pancakes and omelets. Nothing special. It wasn't like I remembered or maybe I just want to forget about this place.

Overall we had a great breakfast this morning! We appreciate them getting our group of 16 sat pretty quickly and our server was great. Everyone enjoyed their food but was a bummer that they ran out of chorizo and no alcohol but it wasn't the end of the world. My vanilla latte was amazingly made and all eggs were cooked perfectly to order for everyone.

My partner and I ate at Mike & Ronda's during a weekend Flagstaff trip. We went on a Saturday morning so there was a wait. But it's not terrible; they text you when your table is ready so you can wait in your car instead of outside the restaurant. They told us 25 minutes but it ended up being closer to 15 minutes. The service was friendly. Our server checked in frequently and made sure we had what we needed. For food is where I'm a little torn. Overall it was good, but it wasn't great. Very typical "mom and pop breakfast joint" food. I got the Chicken Fried Steak and the meat was very fatty. We also asked for our hashbrowns to be extra crispy, but they were pretty standard. When the server dropped them off she made a comment about the kitchen being busy and this was as crispy as they could make them. On a positive note, the portions are massive. You definitely won't leave hungry! If you're looking for decently priced, decent food - then this is your stop.

Get ready for a hefty portion. The biscuits are huge but soft. The gravy ln needed a little more flavor (salt & sausage drippings). I had the chicken fried steak which was seasoned great. Pancakes were good not great ( cooked a little more and brown the pancake a little more). The servers were great super nice and attentive. Quick service and accurate. Our server over heard my sister tell her husband that they would share her plate and when the food came out she had already split the meal on separate plates which was awesome. The omelette was delicious and fluffy. The location has plenty of space and had that old school dinner feel. Very clean and inviting. Simply a great experience.

This was a great diner near NAU for us travelers on our first morning here in Flagstaff. Downtown was swarming with hungry folks during dormitory move-in. We were having trouble finding parking or anything without an hour wait. We drove a couple streets out of the downtown area and spotted this restaurant. We also noticed lots of parking available nearby in front of the diner, in the side lot, and behind the restaurant in another large lot, and decided to give it a try. We are glad that we did. We had no wait to get a table for five. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Our server asked if we wanted a Cinnamon Bun for the table as we waited for two people in our party after taking our drink order. We said that sounded great as we were very hungry. We ordered: - House Made Cinnamon Bun - Coffee x 3 - Unsweetened Ice Tea - Grand Canyon Steak - A full pound USDA Choice top sirloin steak so big it comes on its own plate. Served with 2 eggs, hash browns and choice of biscuits and gravy, toast or pancakes - Roast Beef Melt with cheddar cheese and green chiles on sour dough, French Fries - Half Pound Cheeseburger, Deep-fried Green Beans - Bowl of Oatmeal with raisins, brown sugar and 2% milk I absolutely LOVED the roast beef melt. The sourdough was nice and sour, toasted, and buttered. A good serving of beef with melted real cheddar cheese and delicious hatch Chiles. A solid filling and flavorful sandwich. These French fries were so good - these are the good kind: crispy battered outside and soft inside. Hubs also really enjoyed the huge sirloin steak. He definitely got his protein. Our daughters really loved their Oatmeal with all the fixings, the 1/2 lb. Cheeseburger and the fried green beans. The cinnamon bun and pancakes weren't really our cup of tea. They were a little too sweet. There is seating in two rooms and along the bar. Restrooms are also available for customers. In all, we were thankful to have found such a nice spot to get some good, hot food with friendly service.

Classic diner feel with tons of character... and characters! The place is clean with super friendly staff. Our waitress was very personable, great sense of humor and quick to keep our drinks refilled. Checked on us often and was a load of fun to interact with. The food... oh yes! I started with the soup of the day: Chicken Vegetable which was loaded with chicken and vegetables. It was such a hearty "cup" of soup that I could have made it my meal and left satisfied. Our entrees were Open Faced Turkey and Mashed Potatoes (husbands) and Open Faced Roast Beef and Mashed Potatoes. So homey and comforting... and filling! I really struggled to finish mine, but hubby to the rescue! This is a great place for good ol' home cooking! I promise you won't leave hungry and will have a smile on your face from the super friendly staff!

At first I was a little confused because I didn't see an actual bubble tea store, but it turns out the bubble tea shop has the same owner as the restaurant and grocery store. There are menus at the counter of the grocery store's check out counter where you can place your order. Sadly, one of my choices (The lemon black tea) was not available so I went with the mango tea instead and got a passion fruit tea with yogurt popping boba. The cashier said the passion fruit was her favorite flavor- alright! They make the bubble tea next door at the Chinese restaurant kitchen/drink area. It didn't take too long for my drinks to be made and they had those nicely heat sealed lids. The passion fruit drink was a little too sweet for me so I'll see if I can ask for it less sweet next time. Service was very friendly and nice. Since options are limited in Flagstaff for bubble tea and I want to support local boba business (And fuel my bubble tea addiction) I'll try more next time I'm here!

Smells bad here and the bathrooms are unsanitary. This place is a side business to the HOT WOK option next door. The boba had too much ice and was very hard to chew.

My boyfriend ordered the hot London Fog and really enjoyed it. I can't remember the exact name of my drink - something like Orange Dream - but it was delicious as well. You can actually taste the tea, and it doesn't taste artificial at all. Super good. There's plenty of seating inside, which makes it a great place to hang out. The only downside is parking - finding a spot in Flagstaff can be tricky, and most of the parking in the area is paid. That said, it wasn't too busy when we went around 8am. Definitely recommend!

Also no (they do have tea lattes) Hot chocolate? Technically yes... but even that comes with Earl Grey tea inside. These folks are deeply, passionately committed to one thing: dried leaves steeped in hot water. And honestly, they do it well. If you're a tea lover, this place is your Disneyland. The selection is impressive, the vibe is relaxed, and the people behind the counter clearly care about what they're doing. There's a real enthusiasm here for the craft of tea, and that kind of passion is always fun to see. That said, my one issue was a pretty important one on a cold Flagstaff day... My tea showed up lukewarm. Now normally I'm a pretty forgiving person... but when it's 40 degrees outside and tea is the entire business model, this feels like a pretty big detail. When tea is the whole menu, temperature isn't a detail... it's the headliner. I like the concept. I respect the passion. It's just a bit limiting for my taste, and the execution missed slightly on the most important note. Three stars. A cool idea... that just needed to be a little hotter.
