I HATE going to the dentist, and I don't hate having to go in here so that says something! They are extremely patient with people who are dentist-phobic. Their office right now has cozy blankets placed all around, and they offer tea, coffee and water. As a therapist, I love seeing this as it is so grounding. I could not recommend this dentistry more as they truly are incredible. I referred my whole family here after we recently moved to Arizona, and the first dentist we tried had a "drill and bill" vibe. Just found my new dentist. Called yesterday and they were able to schedule me on a cancellation for the next day. Everyone I interacted with was kind and professional. My hygienist Shelly is awesome! Don't appreciate being told for years that you'll never be charged more than participating copayments to suddenly in 2023 being charged full cost of services as you are collecting nonparticipating rates/total billed charges. Your staff claims to have forewarned us with a letter and various blurbs on our statements but I didn't get either. $300 for a cleaning and $500 for a filling after already paying thousands for insurance premiums is a joke. You should at minimum offer me a more reasonable amount for services rendered when suddenly without warning changing your charging practices! I also had to follow-up to get my secondary insurance plan to pay for a crown 9 months after your biller messed it up according to Delta Dental. I had to email them my X-rays as your biller failed to do so. I work two full-time jobs I don't appreciate being told that Delta was lying and you DID follow-up when in fact they said you didn't and I had to ensure the claim was paid, when I complained about this ....I was told oh well you know it's a COURTESY (in caps and misspelled! by your staff) for us to file a claim for you. I don't know anyone who pays thousands in insurance premiums to be expected to file their own insurance claims and I work for BlueCross of another state, if you gave me your TAX ID and PROVIDER ID number and dental billing codes I'm sure I could file claims in less than 15 mins, its really quite simple! read more

I am not great at the dentist. My teeth are sensitive and just the sound of the drill makes me nauseous. My bite has been off for about three years because I just haven't wanted to go sit in the chair. But I had some fillings done with Dr Beckham today and he is awesome. He is also helping to correct my bite that my last dentist damaged- the one that was adamant about replacing a crown that simply does not need to be replaced. I really like Dr Beckham's conservative approach, and gentle manor. And he has a great staff and office. I highly recommend them! read more

This is the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. Dr. Beckham is so friendly and courteous. He puts you at total ease. He talks you through every step of the process. I had 2 crowns replaced and did not feel any pain at any time, and that even includes the novicane injections. Amazing!! He even offered me breakfast! After trying to get in for the last few months, I was finally able to arrange my work schedule and get in to see Dr. Beckhams fine staff for a cleaning and to set up some long overdue oral maintenance. The staff here is professional, courteous, and it shows that Mike and Renee do a great job when hiring. Everyone I spoke to, both on the phone and during my office visit were friendly and professional. Kaityn (hope I spelled that right) took my over the phone appointment, and was able to get me in the same week as my phone call. So nice. It has been my crazy work and social schedule that has prevented me from getting in in the past...so glad Kaitlyn was able to accommodate me. When I arrived at my scheduled cleaning appointment I arrived, filled out my paperwork and waited for about 10 minutes. Kaitlyn was my hygenist, and she did a wonderful job of getting my oral x-rays updated, as well as performing a thorough and pain free cleaning. I have a few long overdue dental issues, which she made a note of and was careful during her cleaning. The staff here is so caring, and Kaitlyn made every effort to ensure my comfort during the cleaning. After the cleaning was over, she introduced me to Dr. Borgess (forgive my mis-spelling), who is new to Dr. Beckham's practice. Welcome to Arizona Dr. B, it was a pleasure meeting you. He took the time to complete and oral exam, discuss some solutions to existing issues, as well as develop a long term plant to improve my dental health. If I can sum up my visit in a few words it would be this: trust and comfort with your dental group is not often found...Dr. Beckham and Dr. B offered and fostered this in my first visit. I cannot recommend Beckham Dental enough...I'm not your "typical" patient. I've had horrible teeth my entire life and never found myself in a fortunate enough place to invest in them. It got so bad that I found myself avoiding dentists altogether for nearly 10 years...as you can imagine, my teeth were BAD...I came to Dr. Ellsworth by chance, and began the process to fix my smile, one row of teeth at a time. I was embarrassed to check in each time because of the ridiculous state of my dental hygiene, but the staff here is SO tenured and kind. They're always on time, insurance wizards, but also, extremely passionate about helping people, which I find rare in medical practices these days...As Dr. Ellsworth progressed through the health issues, he also took note of the cosmetic condition of my smile, which was awful. I couldn't afford veneers, a disappointment I've always grappled with, but when we came to my front teeth, an insecurity that has literally PLAGUED me for years, Dr. Ellsworth took hours of his time to not only repair my teeth, but to make them...PRETTY :,) I had spent hours each week for over a month in his chair, but sitting up to see my new finished smile was honestly shocking to me. They were whitened, reshaped, resurfaced, renewed!!! Today was the first time in 10 years that I smiled, really smiled. I can say with confidence that Dr. Ellsworth's experience and talent is matched only by his generosity and kindness. I am one of those people who is deathly afraid of dentists. It's ridiculous and I have no idea why I'm so terrified of sitting in that chair, but I am. I have spent a good portion of my adult life avoiding that chair unless I absolutely HAD to go in for some reason. I went in today and was shaking like a leaf when I sat down in that chair. Dr. Ellsworth and staff put me at ease and even put up with my tears. (I know, I know. It's so ridiculous and embarrassing, that's why I never go.)
