One of the worst experiences I have ever had with any form of contractor. The entire project was a battle from beginning to end. Put in a Paver Patio and water is puddling horribly. Contacted Contractor and just makes tons of excuses when he will be out and never calls back. Nothing but arguments and trouble just to get work completed. I am still trying to get him to come out. Constantly uses weather as his excuse not to come. My personal nightmare and it cost me 8000.00 Update: Contractor no longer returns call and had to open up cases against him.

UPDATED 3/11/26. Here's what I had to deal with ever since they redid my patio:…read morehttps://youtu.be/tA2aaeo_bbM Original Review back in 2024: Do NOT hire them to do your patio. I had them come re-sand and reseal, and the sand filled in is falling apart on one side of my patio as well as the edges in only a few months. They came a second time to try to fix it. Told them to let me know when they come because I want to be there whey they start so I can see what they're doing. I did not trust they were doing it well. They came out but didn't let me know and only after they had started, they came to me. That pissed me off, because I explicitely told them to wait until I am outside with them because of that and that I had questions. That request was blatantly ignored. Now about a couple months later, that sand is falling between the cracks and soft to the touch, I can literally compress it with my finger and I now have sand missing between cracks all over the place on one side of my patio again. There's no way they sealed that because that sand wouldn't be soft to the touch and able to compress with your finger! It's not only soft, they don't even put enough sand in it let alone forget to seal the damn thing. The second time they came out, they try to blame it on water, as if I'm an idiot (sure after a few months I expect this to all fall apart). There's nothing that would cause this. Regular rain shouldn't cause a $2k+ job to fail after a few months. The prior company who sanded this patio, the sand was not falling apart like this anywhere. Even after 5 years. Now I'm going to have to refill that sand and fix this myself. Maybe learned a lesson, just do this stuff yourself. Do it right the first time and you won't have reviews like this. Or customers that annoy you because you can't do your job well. They claim "warranties to match our underrepresented workmanship!". What warranty? I got no warranty and even when they come to fix the mess up, it still falls down. Anyone gets rain, even down pours. It's very clear what areas they did not do properly because the rest of the patio is holding ok. I expect a job to last a few years not a few months. Rain and nature happen, we expect this to hold up at least on average 3-5 years. I'm just going to seriously go back to Menards, there's a mexican guy there who knows a lot about this, and he's told me how I can just fix it myself and save money. He explained the different sealants, etc. and the pros and cons. That's exactly what I am going to do. No more hiring people for this. The ants are even crawling into the cracks now. Good times, right before it starts getting cold outside. So glad I have to spend a couple hours fixing this sh** now. I don't normally go out and rant like this but any moron can see this is not done right. More here on my actual patio, see the problem first hand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xm8h2ZUq88A How it's supposed to be: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMu1l2ure4M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRGi6xa9ALo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qi-KeIcv-Kk You do your customers right. You f up the job, you redo it. I expect the craft to be done well. You make mistakes, you fix it. You don't just tell people it is what it is and make excuses like you did with me after the fact.

That was the end of the good service. He never answered my texts about when he thought he would get to us. I texted him three times as to when he thought he could get to us, and finally if he was even going to do our job. NEVER heard from him. How rude. All we wanted was a "Yes, I am going to do your job, but not until _____". Or, "No, I do not have time for your job." I don't think that was too much to ask. I would NEVER recommend this company. Very very poor service.

Previously I did not have a driveway - just two gravel tracks. Manuel and his crew were done within DAYS, were super organized (the rest of my yard was literally untouched), and it looks amazing. My garage is set wayyyy back detached from my house, so it is a very long driveway - it's been over a year, and we love it. Several neighbors have asked for his info, even leaving notes in my mailbox, and everyone agrees that I brought up the whole block's value. This is a long-term investment that has already started to pay off. I'll also add that my village, in spite of my permit application being sent in in November, did not tell me until two months later in January that they were going to tear up my street, the gutters, and that everyone's apron (including my brand new beautiful apron) would be destroyed, to be fixed at my own expense. I reached out to Manuel, and without even telling me, the crew came and completely reset my paver apron once the road was done, just out of kindness. Talk about customer service, even after the project was done - thank you to you and your crew again, Manuel! Highly recommend all around for any size project you need.

We were also pleased with the installation of a large stone step he designed that blends into the existing path perfectly. It's so nice to find a contractor who has "old fashioned" work ethics; he and his crew work hard to do an excellent job, at the agreed price, and only considers the job completed after a detailed walk-through to make sure we were happy with everything. We look forward to working with Manuel again and highly recommend him. ~ Janice & Terry, Highland Park
