Even though it was a long drive for her, she was ready to meet us in Murrieta and look at as many properties as we wanted to be ready to purchase. When it came time to negotiate the deal, I felt completely assured I was in good hands. She managed to get us the property we wanted at the price we wanted. Once we were in escrow she had the vendors to get the inspections and reports we needed to close escrow in a timely manner. She stayed on top of the deal through the entire escrow process making sure everything that needed to happen actually got done so we could close escrow on time (which was a good thing because we had already scheduled the movers). Mike Dunfee Group started managing the property that i have been renting for over 14 years approx 6 months ago. Prior to this, I have never contacted the owner of this property. I have been a renter for over 35 years, never have i had any problems with owners or property managers. This group complete lack of professionalism is astounding. No one ever answers a phone, days and days go by without communication of any level, phone, text, e-mail. I went for 14 days without a dryer, i have been without hot water now on two occasions 5 days the first time, and on my 2nd day now.. There is a washer that was suppose to be installed 3 months ago, sitting in my garage, which i am sure the owners paid 3 months ago. I had to reach out to the owners of the property, Mike Dunfee Group in writing told me I cannot talk to the owners.. there is NO code that says I cannot reach out to the owners of a property i am renting. What started out as a routine home sale turned into a challenge when the buyer backed out at the 11th hour! Mike and his team put together a great listing for my home in downtown Long Beach and immediately got 5 viewers and 3 bids in one week. Impressive to say the least! Everything was going along like clockwork until a few days before closing when the buyer suddenly found something about the building that she found objectionable and decided she wanted to cancel the purchase. Mike took the reins and did an absolutely masterful save and got the buyer to realize she would be making a big mistake to not finish the purchase and threw in his own personal promise to help her if any future problems occurred. He certainly went the distance and then some! Our building was recently purchased by new owners and this group started managing our property. From the moment they took over our trash stop getting collected consistently, the ground maintenance ceased to happen, a beautiful, orange tree was removed because they did not want to maintain it (which took away our beautiful courtyard and privacy), we were not even given 24 hours notice that major construction was about to take place for 10 days (which left us without our paid parking places or a safe environment to work or live). We were forced to find other dwellings. They will not reimburse us for all days we were left without a home or parking. We were told to get a lawyer. No accountability, DO NOT trust in your apartment search! I was not the only person who showed up to view the apartment either. There were 3 other gentlemen who were waiting with me, so their response saying I should have gotten verbal confirmation is bogus. However you still didn't send the full deposit back within the 21 days.
