We were very happy with each phase of our first day with this company. They set us up with their 1st available appointment that was over a month out, but put us on a call earlier list if there is a cancellation. This was great for us, because as retirees we could be available at a days notice. Both of us got calls to come in earlier than our scheduled appointments. Front desk staff were very efficient at processing Maggie & I as 1st time patients. The dental team makes the 1st appointment 2hrs long to do a very thorough exam. They want your input to get your level of involvement in the dental care process. The equipment they have is top of the industry standard. It gives the patient a good view of dental issues, allowing a more knowledgeable choice by patient & Dentist. We never felt pressured to additional care that wasn't truly required at the present time. We were given a break down priority list of items needed & told they would work with us on payment steps based on the priority list. Even given discounts on how payments can be made. I see them on Monday for 1st step in fixing some of my issues. We highly recommend this Dental Care Family

I am giving this location one star solely because the clinical staff who took care of my teeth and…read morethe initial phone receptionist were polite and kind. Otherwise, they deserve zero stars for their completely unprofessional front desk behavior and terrible management. I took a half-day off work for a 3:30 PM appointment. While I was already frustrated by being charged at every consecutive visit, I asked the front desk staff member, Cole, for a clear explanation of the billing. He gave me a completely cold reception. While we were trying to resolve a payment issue due to an expired card, I called their office line to find an alternative way to pay. While explaining to the phone representative that the front desk wasn't explaining the charges clearly, Cole interrupted and defensively snapped that he had already explained it. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. While we both may have been having a stressful day, his customer service was completely unacceptable. Hoping to resolve the situation, I tried to schedule an appointment with the manager last Thursday to explain what happened. I was promised a callback from management that never came. Instead, when I arrived for my scheduled appointment the following week, I was told they had canceled my appointment and would no longer service me. While I respect that businesses have their own policies and I have no desire to return, their complete lack of communication and failure to address a customer service issue is deeply disappointing. My advice to anyone visiting this clinic: If you are having a stressful day, need billing clarity, or simply have questions about where your money is going--do not ask. If you question them or ask too many questions, expect to be dropped as a patient

My Seattle dentist (Dr. Cris Simmons) is one of the top TMJ specialists in the world. His wife/secretary (Anna) referred me to Dr. Sanchez. I called for an appointment and was offered a free half-hour consultation. I phoned back Anna and she said that's a very good sign. She said that if they wanted me to make an appointment for x-rays, run the other direction. Lol During the consultation, it was clear that Dr. Sanchez had years of advanced specialized training with TMJ. He inspected my appliance and said he can definitely make one that's comparable. But even though it's slightly chipped in the front, it won't affect the functionality or comfort so it's not worth wasting my money on a new one. His advice was to continue using it until there's more serious wear. I felt relieved to find a dentist in my new city who's honest AND a highly experienced expert with TMJ.

I have a bit of anxiety about dental visits, so when I finally got up the courage to make an appointment I searched Yelp! for the best in ABQ. Sandia Heights Dental Care showed up and so I trusted my fellow Yelpers and made an appointment. So glad to say everyone was right and this is a great facility! The first thing you should know is this dental office seems pretty busy and they are about a month out on scheduling appointments, so if you are considering going in call them now! The office was clean and professional and all of the staff were friendly and efficient. You can tell by the way they interact with each other that everyone works well together and they are a tight team. I told my technician I have a bit of anxiety and she was understanding and compassionate. She quickly took the edge off with a gentle touch and calming chit chat. She listened to my concerns and explained each step in great detail. The appointment went great and I booked not only my next cleaning for later this year, but also an appointment to discuss Invisalign, because this clinic does it all! I even grabbed a handful of business cards for my dental phobic friends. I highly recommend going here whether you are just looking for a new dentist or have some anxiety like myself.

But..since dental insurance is sort of optional these days, I figured having one isn't going to harm me, especially if I still want to upkeep my teeth care and cleaning. What I loved most about it is that the place is central and close enough to my place, that it won't stress me out trying to get there. Also, I found that they are open late until 7:30pm, which was all a plus to me! Now, I have been getting my teeth checkups twice at this point. My experiences had been quite acceptable. The staff at the frontdesks had always been nice. The dentists and assistants were ok (hit or miss I guess). But..they got their jobs done and didn't push for me to do any unnecessary procedures...yet (I mentioned this because I believe at some point...it may turn into this over time..but so far..just x-ray, cleaning and check up..and it was fine!). But so far..no cavities for me..and so..I guess I didn't have to pay anything OOP yet (just using my insurance). Overall, a decent place. They did clean sort of quickly (compared to another place I had been to) though..so I wasn't sure if it was just less attention on the work..or it was they were so efficient. For the prices (of my cheap insurance that only approves Comfort Dental as a nearby place for me, it is decent enough!

Turns out part of a filling came out from a root canal I had 4 months ago. Dentist(Elizabeth) also the boss at this practice. She said I need a crown which is about $1500 out of pocket which I don't have at the moment. I asked for it to be filled so she filled it and wanted to send me on my way. I told another lady(Daniela), that was nice enough to polish the filling as to not hit the bottom teeth. Elizabeth I guess a "matter of fact) type which may be mistaken for not being very nice to folks. It's a bit off putting especially considering the rest of the staff is very nice. End of the day, Holly(office staff) was great and got me the paperwork & will let me know when the estimate comes back from the insurance company.

Med Spa? It hits you in the face when you walk in. How about just dentistry? 2. My first experience they used some sort of plaque laser that I later was charged for because it wasn't covered. I had never heard of this treatment before, and I'm not entirely sure it's of significant value. 3. I was told that I needed to have a 360 scan of my mouth or head for today's appointment - that it's a requirement of the doctor to provide care. This scan is only 50% covered by most insurance, including mine, resulting in a $100+ out of pocket bill. 4. This is the same practice that billed me for a bunch of DeFazio's work when HE was my dentist. I told them I'm NEVER going to pay those invoices. Long story short: They have quality dentists and hygienists, but the business is a money-grubbing enterprise that will stop at nothing to sell you additional services, many of which have nothing to do with dentistry. I found it extremely off-putting. I just want a dentist to make sure my teeth are healthy. I don't want all that crap. He's going to get $0 from me from now on.
