Delicious pizza ! Fresh tasty authentic crust , quality pepperoni! Highly recommend!!

They make a true New York style pizza here. The price is right, the pizza is killer, and the bartender Peter is fun to talk to.

I overdid it on pizza in my teenage years, so as an adult I am very picky. Right now Brewery X still has my best pizza in town vote, but this is very close. The crust is great. You can tell it's fresh has a great flavor, has that excellent chewiness, not generic or bready. The sauce very tasty and of course I love cup pepperoni... They make the pizza. I'm a little unsure if those pepperoni are just pork or if they're a pork/beef mix, they tasted pretty porkish if that's a word. I think if they would've had a little stronger flavor/spice it would've taken it home for me. Overall, I got a lot of bang for my buck, it will definitely be my go to in town and I would highly recommend it. Nice job, Mike ! read more

My fiancé found this pizza place on yelp and WOW! For starters my fiance can eat pizza every day and she rated this the best she's ever had. She said her favorite was Cortinas but not after today LOL. Mike was a chill dude who truly has a passion for making pies...., while we selfishly wish no one's else discovers this gem, we wish mike all of the success and will be back very soon. Loved the pizza...Mike's Hot Honey was the perfect drizzle. Service was great and everyone was so friendly. We got there at opening so seats were readily available but they were hopping with to go orders. Perfect place for a birthday party. Enjoyed the 80s music too. read more

My wife and I both agree that this is hands down the best pizza we have had in all of Orange County, very likely in our entire lives. Just WOW. The crust (I did order "cooked light" as that is our personal preference and they NAILED IT!), the cheese, the pepperoni, the sauce.... just all perfect. I have NEVER tasted so much flavor from pepperoni in my life. Mike is an artisan and he clearly takes the art of making pizza VERY seriously. I had a great chat with him when I picked my food up and the guy was very open, honest and down to Earth. I cannot recommend this pizza enough. I drove over 30 minutes for this and I will be back and often. This place is a diamond in the rough for sure. read more

The variety of subs were awesome but haven't had a pizza yet! I'm from back East n absolutely loved NY pizza. The dough balls sound like they are perfectly created n with pride in the art! When I saw they were rated 5 stars I was a bit skeptical but wow... the pizza was bomb and I also had a chance to talk with the owner who was really cool and you can tell he's proud of the food he makes. This is located in the Ziings restaurant in downtown Fullerton. It's open only on Fridays and Saturdays. The wife and I went at opening which was 5pm. Due to this the place was nice and quiet, only 1 family there. The bartender was the lone server at that time. He was extremely friendly, made excellent drinks, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The pizza itself was a New York style pizza, the wife and I did half cheese half pepperoni. The crust was fantastic! It's a thin crust that is light, crispy, and airy! The pizza holds its shape! It isn't so greasy that it flip flops. Because the pizza has that crispy crust it is fantastic! I just went last week and I'll be going back again this week! read more

Stumbled into this place the other night and met Mike who was passionate about his craft of oblong pizzas. Very kind and personable. Dave Portnoy will tell you a big tip-off as whether or not a pizza place will be great is "weird hours" and "cash only." Well, Mike's Firestone Pizza has the "weird hours" thing down pat--they are currently open Fridays and Saturdays, 5pm-1am. They do take credit card, however, with a small surcharge (about 3%). I found this place by pure luck. I thought I had found all the great pizza in Orange County and had this list solid for some years. Shame on me for missing this one. Mike's Firestone Pizza is the best pizza in Orange County. Sorry, Terra Mia. Sorry, Loosies. A couple bits confirmed it. But let me start off with the experience: I called in my order and was greeting by a nice gal who made sure my name was spelled correct (even though she didn't need to) and gave me an accurate estimate of when my pizzas would be done. When I arrived, I was surprised to find out this place is located in a nightclub called Ziings. It was dark inside, and because it was early (6pm) there was little activity. One of managers, I assumed, or "keeper of the bar" greeted me and was very kind. He asked me how I learned of the pizza, and I shared with him that I was kind of a pizza connoisseur. Sure enough, my pizzas were ready on schedule. I ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. When I got to my car I had to try a bite of the pepperoni pizza while it was hot. YUP! Not much more needs to be said. You have to try it for yourself, though selfishly I'd love to keep this place a secret. Best pizza I've had in a long time. The crust is what makes it. The CRUST. You can tell this dough was formed with love--fermented to give it that bread-tastic tang or twang or whatever you want to call it. The pepperoni was sublime, just meaty goodness that made me think it came from a snooty deli. The sauce was not overpowering. The cheese, like butter. When I got home, I got to share it with my wife and in-laws. They agreed--it was very, VERY good. I have, in recent days, become somewhat of a minimalist, so the cheese was my go-to, and I could not be more in love with the flavor. Wow. I could go on and on about this business. Thank you for taking pizza seriously. Thank you for dedicating your time and effort into making the best pizza possible. This is a worthy competitor for best of Orange County, and best of southern California or even California. Stay consistent, and I hope to be back soon. A+++. read more
