Never been to Mike's Alignment before today (10/28/2021). Ordered 4 tires from Tire Rack and had them shipped to Mike's shop. As soon as they arrived Mike gave me a call and setup appt. the next day. Mike is very straightforward with a great sense of humor. He installed the 4 tires plus 4-wheel alignment. In and out in less than an hour. He gave me some suggestions on some other fixes but also said it's not critical - only something to consider. Highly recommended and will be a return customer should there be a reason to. Shopped a few other places before coming to Mikes for work that needed to be done and I am glad I did. You can tell Mike has years of experience just by the way he pays attention to what you are saying and can pinpoint the issues on your ride. Mike and his team replaced all four Shocks/Struts and now my 4Runner is running on the FWYs nicely and the price was reasonable as well. He won't try to upsell you on items that you don't need. I asked if there were any other issues and he said "no". I was told by multiple people that my new, used Prius needed an alignment, so I took it to Mike. He had me start the car and turn the steering wheel several times while walking around the car. He said the alignment looked fine and those other people didn't know what they were talking about. However, if it made me feel better, he would do an official inspection. I told him it would make me feel better, and after 10 minutes, he gave me the report that confirmed the alignment was indeed fine. I then tried to pay Mike the amazingly low rate of $60 (most places charge $100) and he refused, he said don't worry about it and enjoy the rest of my day. Who is this guy!? read more

Came here for an alignment, quick and easy. The whole process took way less than an hour from arriving, waiting for my vehicles turn, and leaving the shop. Mike is very professional & I highly recommend this shop. I drive a Mazda & as I was about to drive away he says "zoom zoom" (Mazda motto) which caught me off guard and was funny lol. My son has used Mike's on his cars and gave me a very positive thumbs up. So I took my car to Mikes. I called him first to ask if he could mount 2 front tires for me as well as a front end alignment and set up an appointment. He is also a certified installer for Tire Rack and he has high-level equipment for the alignment (including all-wheel drive). Mike himself came out to greet me when I arrived. He was friendly, professional and started working on my car upon arrival (I called the day before to make an appointment). I got a ride back home from a friend and not 1 hour passed before Mike called me to inform me that my car was ready. Driving my vehicle I immediately noticed how much more smooth the ride was. And it wasn't just the tires, of which I had two unused ones at home which Mike mounted, but the alignment, balancing, etc. And pot holes, an unfortunate aspect of living in Los Angeles for those with lower-profile tires, was not as rough. I went in for an alignment when what I really needed was my tires balanced. You live and learn. I didn't have brand name tires on my car and he suggested that was what was causing my issue. Mike was super nice and helped with what I needed. He even refused to do a service that I asked him for because he was able to build rapport and found out where I purchased my tires and told me that that location will do my requested service for free. So not only was his alignment price more than reasonable, he saved me money (less money for him) by recommending me to take my car back to the guys who did my tires to take care of my request for free. Well, this is my second review for Mikes Alignment. I just can't say enough good things about Mike and his economical, expert, and friendly work. I've now had many things fixed on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee - new starter, shocks, rotations, alignments, tires installed, valve cover gaskets replace, new disc brakes. Let's see, what else? Every single time Mike does amazing work for a price that fits my very limited budget. I completely trust Mike with any of my repairs, and I know cars pretty well and have done major work myself. Coming from a mechanic background who honors honesty and excellence. I had to write this review as a testimony to Mike and how he runs his business. A shortened version of a long story... my sister and mother had gotten into a situation where the vehicle's alternator was shot which caused the engine to run off the battery until it eventually died. Because of the location many tow truck services found it inconvenient for them to come and tow the car. It was getting late but Mike was extremely patient and understanding, giving us the O.K. that he would wait after hours and wait for us. Wow. What a guy. We didn't arrive until 7 pm. Which was an 1.5 hour delay from when we initially called. And when we arrived, although obviously tired, Mike comes out and gives me the game plan on how he's going to approach our repair. Excellence. Then he continues to say, "I'm going to make sure the battery is fully charged before I put it in with the new alternator. Giving it a better start to it's life." Honesty. If you're wondering if Mike is honest, understanding, and excellent. The answer is a simple but direct Yes. Definitely recommend him. Thank you Mike! P.S. I found this shop in Yelp and was impressed by all the great reviews. I needed four new tires last November for my Toyota Sienna. I bought the tires from Tirerack and had them ship to Mike's Alignment. Mike called me as soon as he received them. We agreed on a day and time when I can bring in my car to get the new tires installed. Mike was courteous and professional. His waiting area is setup in a way that you can see him doing the work fairly closely. I do a lot of maintenance on my car myself and I like to watch professionals doing work. Watching Mike do the work was like watching a musician playing with his instrument. He finished removing the old tires, mounting and balancing four new tires and an alignment in less than an hour. The car was smooth and straight as I drove home. Kudos to Mike for the quality of his work. His fees were also very reasonable. Mike is a super friendly guy once you start a conversation with him. He has a bold personality and is very upfront. Finding someone who is this good with tires and alignment is quite rare. I will certainly go back to him for all my tire and alignment needs. Took my Infiniti in for an alignment because my wheel was slightly off and during my visit, I realized my back wheels were as well. Mike's son did the alignment on my car while he was overlooking his son's work. It's been one week so far and no complains at all.
