If I could give more than 5 stars, I would and they would deserve every single one of them!!! I called several shops around the area to inquire for help with my Mercedes Benz and most shops didn't bother to even dig any deeper over the phone. When I saw the previous reviews of Mike's Automotives, I didn't hesitate to give them a call and it was the best decision I could have taken. They immediately listened to my concern, they didn't just refer me to tow my car to them but rather asked questions to determine the possible issues and be able to answer with confidence if that would be a problem they would handle. My Mercedes Benz didn't want to start so I had to get have AAA help me tow it there. Long story short, the issue turned out to be my main battery. It was pretty much dead. When I got to Mike's Automotives, it was so refreshing to be received by first name upon arrival at the shop and that Angel, who took the time to speak with me on the phone about the problem, was ready to start diagnosing the problem at hand. It didn't even take a full hour from me arriving at the shop to having my car fixed and out the door at a super affordable price. Angel is super honest, personable and very knowledgeable. He also suggested car care tips for my specific make and model. I've been going to Mike's Auto since 2013 but recently the owner (Mike) sold the place to a guy name ANGEL we decided to give him a try.., DON'T waste your time or money he will rip you off! The reason we trusted Mike he never over charged and did an amazing job and if something could wait he tell me how long because when I met him I was a single mom, so great work good price. The new OWNER ANGEL wanted $340+ tax for 2 rear breaks & resurfacing the rotors when I called him on it he said his time was worth $140 an hour I'm like ok who takes close to 2 hours for breaks? So he procedes to tell me it was because I asked for ceramic breaks! I was shocked what a scammer! Mike charged me for the exact same thing back breaks and resurfacing the rotors like $180 something this was even last year, break pads even ceramic run about $30 for a pair of 2, you do the math! Anyways the dealer ship charges me $250 for the same thing. Sad to say since Mike isn't the owner we are never going back. I hope this helps! Don't let this place rip you off! Good luck. Quick note he unplug the camera in my car! Also I called around and this other place in the picture is way better pricing they don't resurface but for literarily 35 bucks more you get new rotors he charges me $375 for new rotors and brakes. You know he is over charging if the DEALERSHIP CHARGES $250 & ANGEL $340!! Hope this helps anyone. read more
