Tran is knowledgeable, kind, and honest…read more My car window of my Ford Fusion would not go up. Tran took me in within 30 minutes and took a look at my car. The issue was bigger then expected which he didn't have the ability to fix it. When I went to pick it up later, he was apologetic and refused for me to compensate him for his time. He gave me recommendations for next steps. He genuinely cares and takes pride in his work. I appreciate him.

Showing much gratitude to Tran's great and honest services. Please show his business some love…read more Came in month ago to do a simple oil change for my Honda Civic. Tran not only provided a speedy service, but even went the extra mile to pump my tires since he saw the light come on AND even topped off my wiper fluid without me asking or even charging me. These simple acts were more than enough for me to come in again. This time for a vehicle inspection before my interstate move. I tried calling in before to explain my need, but since he had left the shop early that evening, he instead offered me quick solutions at tires shops around the area to fix my TPMS problem and then scheduled a date to inspect my car. During the inspection, he did a thorough job and pointed out the cracks and wear on my engine belt and addressed the replacement immediately (reassuring me that this is normal for a 210k+ mileage car). Along the process he helped explained what to look out for during my 900+ mile trip. I bought a quart of oil from him and he gave me extra rags with it to ensure a safe trip. This man knows his stuff and is genuine to his craft. Sadly leaving PDX but he has made my trip ahead feel assuring and I hope you all can show some love to his business. FYI, I recommend calling ahead before you go in; he's a one man team so it can help him schedule you in better.

Saved Me and My Vehicle: I can't say enough about the front…read moredesk, Dan and his associate. I was traveling from Idaho coming through Portland and my car was burning oil and loosing power. I came into Ken's Van Damme's late in the morning, the employees were very busy, with a busy schedule. The men at the front desk listen to my problem with the car, even looking over some paper work I had on some issues about the car. They were so polite and professional. I was traveling alone and after hearing that, they made it a point to fit me into their busy schedule and fix my car, they even gave me a AAA discount. I feel they were my angels. Now, I can make it back to Idaho. If you ever want a reputable, reliable mechanic shop, I would definitely take your car to them. My car now runs fabulous. I would give them 10 stars, mostly for being so trustworthy, professional. Janet Riegel

I Took my daughters car there to go over a clutch issue because i didnt have the time to do it…read moremyself (im aslo a tech) and she needed her car asap. I explained to them in detail what i had done, and what parts i had replaced. Their idea was to replace the same part i did instead of diagnosing the entire sysytem to pinpoint the problem as a shop should...so they call me up the day before pick up to inform me that the problem isnt the part i replaced (big suprise) and low and behold they want another 1400 to crack into the actual problem, and that i just basically paid them 1300 to babysit my daughters car for a week. Instead of diagnosing the system they just threw parts at it...not a good look fellas...so when i get her car back i will go over the lil "easter eggs" i hid to see if it was put back together correctly (i know it wasnt) becuase there should be supplements...my advice is pay those techs better so corners dont need to be cut...and yall wont get put on blast for this type of work...
