2 years later, here I am again at Tuan's 76 to fill up the rental car. Part of my airport cred is knowing where to buy gas that close enough to the airport to read "Full" at drop off. PDX is not Indianapolis or Des Moines where there's a gas station across the street from the Airport. But there are a number gas stations (like Tuan's 76) that are close and convenient enough and basically on the way. I was surprised to see gas prices that are higher than many places in Northern California. Yet, at $11 to top off the tank, that was small potatoes compared to a Alamo fuel charge. read more

Gentleman took my cash for gasoline went to go fill up 15 premium then told me they did not sell non-ethanol when I was looking for premium and recommended. I went elsewhere. I drove away block and realized he still had cash back. I came back asked if I could have my $ and he responded ' no no that didn't happen you lied' it's not a matter of the $15 but it was my last cash and he put me in a bad spot last minute. I was extremely happy with my experience at Tuân's 76 Auto Service. I brought my Hyundai SUV in for inspection after discovering leaked engine oil on my driveway. Immediately upon arrival, Rafael pulled the engine manifold cowling and showed me oil leaking from both valve cover gaskets. In addition, the oil had gotten into the alternator. I received a very reasonable price quote in a timely manner, and all repairs were successfully completed in one day! I previously had all repairs accomplished at the original dealership, but I am now taking my car to Tuân's 76 for all future maintenance and repairs. read more

Who would've thought a Pho joint in a 76 gas station...you'd be surprised! Big ol' bowl of beef pho for only $7.50. The spring rolls are great too! Don't expect a lot of bells and whistles but the lady owner is super nice and takes good care of you as you eat. I recognize it seems a bit funny to write a review for a chain petrol station... but these guys are 1 of my 2 neighborhood stations and I really adore them. This is one of those places they come running out like Les Schwab and make sure you are taken care of. Busy or not they are pretty efficient. The weirdest and biggest perk to this place, the food! For serious! Even when the little kitchen in the back is after hours they typically have their spring rolls in 2's and 4's for sale at the counter. And they generally want to get rid of them so if you are hesitant for spending the already insanely cheep price for them he'll usually tell you a better deal for 2 packs or 3. Please stay away from this place as far as you can. We bought gas at gas station, our car died right there. It just needed to be jump started . The employees happily left - they clearly saw that the car died but we got no help. We tried to push the car away and slightl hit the fence (this cheap flexible kind ). Next morning we jumped start the car . The fence just came the back like nothing happened. Now the owner wants money for repair (there is literally nothing to repair) and saying the post was damaged - in fact our car didn't even touch the post. It is just a scheme. Really friendly guys, id go in all the time and they'd always remember me and ask how my day is going and crack jokes. The last time I went in, after the election, one guy started talking politics with me, saying he was excited Trump is the president. I tried to not engage in the conversation but he continued, saying he would never vote for Hillary because she's a woman and a woman should never be president. I'm a woman and although everyone is entitled to their opinion, it was unprofessional and I felt uncomfortable. I have avoided the gas station since. read more

Tuan is an excellent mechanic, and charges less than Landmark Ford or Courtesy Ford which is where I used to take my Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Friendly family operated business. I often will gas up here, and many times have picked up a six-pack or some of their freshly-made spring rolls. read more

Extremely rude. I came here to get gas and their delivery guy had blocked an entire lane of pumps preventing me from pulling through to access pumps on my side of the car. I waited 5 minutes for him to finish unloading every single box, which I thought was very nice of me, but then when he walked inside to finish doing his paperwork without moving his vehicle, I rolled down my window and asked him if he could please move his car so I could get they and buy gas. That's when the owner of the station said to me "Be nice! This is not for through traffic'" and I told him I wasn't "through traffic", I was a customer trying to get gas and had been waiting almost 5 minutes because his delivery guy was blocking half the lot for no reason, and was stranding me and other cars. He said "oh" and they went back to their work. I had to drive out the lot and around the entire block through two lights just to finally access their lot and buy gas. I would've gone somewhere else but I was in a time crunch. I ALWAYS have a rude experience at this station, and I understand the gas stations are probably not the happiest work places in the world, but no one here ever treats me nicely, despite me being a nice person who understands that delay happen and I always tips gas attendants -- they are extremely rude I'm not going to come here for gas ever again. read more

Recently traveling through Portland I had a battery go down just across the street from Tuan's 76. It was late afternoon and even with the garage bays full Tuan took the time to diagnose that my problem was not the battery since it was recently replaced but rather a bad alternator. Without hesitation Tuan asked what our situation was seeing we were from out of town. We were actually just heading out to I84 when systems began shutting down. Tuan looked at his watch (it was an hour from closing), looked at me (knowing my options were nil), and said if I hadn't had dinner there were several great options within walking distance of the shop. Tuan said get some food, check out the local stores and come back in 2 hours cause I'll have you guys back on the road safely tonight. We came back to the shop on schedule as Tuan and his team finished the final battery charge. Tuan gave me the invoice which was actually less than the average repair bill for that service. Tuan looked at me one more time after starting the car and said 'you guys have a great holiday season'! You're good to go. Great service, great work and importantly...great people. read more
