I thought I could manage with the DIY kit I bought from Facebook and all that it killed were crickets. It wasn't until I found a wasp nest under one of the alcoves on the front of my house and having to kill a spider, with babies pouring out of it that I finally realized enough is enough!! My sister lives in the area and recommended a chain service, but I found their online reviews to be consistently negative. So, I did some research on Yelp and Google and found Hole-In-One Pest Solutions. I wish I had called earlier as I continue to put this off despite having additional spiders coming through various cracks, corners, doorways, etc. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and kind. Super easy to talk to and helped me set up my first pest control appointment. I've always lived in an apartment so I've never had to deal with this before. I appreciated her patience and compassion as I explained my terrifying wolf spider story. Within just a couple days (due to my schedule) I had a tech out at my place. He listened attentively to the issues, and after a walk around the perimeter we agreed to a treatment plan and price. (Side note - a big turn off and red flag for me is when companies try to guilt or scare you into a subscription or additional services. This was NOT the case. Thank you for treating me fairly and not taking advantage of a first time homeowner/renter. Everyone I've met is really nice and informative unlike a lot of other places that are out for a buck they will tell you if there isn't a need for something. I was going to replace tires that didn't need replacing and they were up front with me which is very respectable. The guys working on the cars are knowledgeable and kind as well. No question is too stupid for them and I assure you I have many haha. They sell great quality used tires but will also patch or plug if possible so you can save, they offer balancing etc too. Depending on when you go you may have to wait but it's well worth it. The only downside is that for my car sometimes they don't have a used tire for it but at the time I called other places and they didn't either..not their fault. I totally recommend goldmine.

I called the Chattahoochee Nature Center for a recommendation & their recording suggested the ahnow.org website to find a humane wildlife person, which is how I found Sanders Wildlife. Chatted with Brandon over the phone & he headed over to help out. It took some coaxing, but he was able to safely the the squirrel out (turned out to be a nursing mama) & we released her immediately back out into my yard so she could get back to her babies. He also fixed up/sealed the top of my chimney properly so I won't have squirrels or birds accidentally making their way down again. Brandon is so nice, obviously loves animals, is very patient, & took care of the situation exactly the way I wanted it handled (humanely & kindly). I thought the price was reasonable for the service (though I have nothing to compare it to). I will definitely be calling Sanders Wildlife for any future wildlife needs I have. 100% recommend.
