Mike recently took care of my cat twice a day for 22 days while I was in the UK. My cat Penny has genetic dwarfism, arthritis and can be (is) very aggressive when frightened, or around strangers. Penny has to be sedated before going to the vet. I don't think anyone could have taken care of my cat as well as Mike did (or if anyone could have taken care of her at all). Mike was able to administer Penny's meds twice a day, and brush her despite her aggressiveness. He sent me a couple of videos of her while I was away including administration of her meds. My 7 months pregnant wife, our two year old and I were moving from San Clemente to Los Angeles. One huge hitch, our move was happening during a period I was on a 3 month World Tour. (Would never recommend moving when you're thousands of miles away, it's near impossible.) Our 9 year old cat, really, is my cat. I've had him since he was kitten and I was just a young bachelor. We had a very small carrier, that I can, with some gentle persuasion get him into, but it was not happening for my wife in her third trimester with a two year old running around crazy. He was the last bit of the move that had to be moved out of the house, and while I was in NYC, my wife calls me frantically. Mike has been fantastic with my dog! She is very shy and does not take to many people right away. Mike was very patient with her and gave her time and space and that was exactly what she needed! It really said a lot to me that he wanted to come meet her before scheduling a walk...it made me feel like he really cares about our dog and how she feels around him.
