I didn't realize I had been struggling so much until she did. My son said his favorite part was the steak and he is the biggest food critic of all of us. The restaurant is cute and clean. THE HOMEFRIES ARE AMAZING!i go by everyday before school to get my linguica egg and cheese on a crossoint with homefries! the coffee is the best,and the fact that a togo cup thru drive thru is only $1 is genious! The Staff is soooo nice, and i love the fact its always the same people, and they all say Hi to you! I go everyweekend after church with my grandmother whos in a wheelchair and its the easiest breakfast place to get into. Clean, yummy, and friendly staff what more could you ask for!?? Clearly, any chaos at Zachary's was easily avoided by their staff, and it was noteworthy. The menu is fairly typical, with the usual Benedicts, omelettes, loads of interesting pancakes, French toast, waffles (sadly, I'm too old now!) etc. I ordered the Portuguese omelette, which had onions, tomatoes, pepper jack cheese and linguica. Good combination, with good home fries. Others had an avocado and veggie omelette (declared "delicious") and eggs with grilled kielbasa (friend who had ordered it, who is from China, had never had kielbasa before, but proceeded with my recommendation, and was quite pleased. Prices are very reasonable (less expensive than Beantown Diner, another Stoughton weekend brunch staple), coffee is fresh and the atmosphere was far less raucous when one accounted for all the people (including kids!) who were seated there. You can count on the food being hot and fresh, which is what breakfast should be. You might have to wait a bit to get inside, but it's worth the wait. I really enjoyed that French toast so satisfying with sweet maple syrup and a mound of butter melting along the sides. I personally like that it is small because it's intimate. I like that it's crowded because it's popular. I like the way staff because they are always friendly. I definitely recommend that you check this place out. I must admit I have not tried anything but their breakfast here before. If the breakfast food is any indication of the tastiness of their other meals like lunch, I would recommend a visit.
