The food is ok and the service is so slow. I ordered 45 mins in advance and it still wasn't done!

Time and time again, this is my favorite all you can eat sushi place in Philadelphia. The fish is…read morefresh, and the appetizers have great variety. My personal favorites include the salmon and white tuna sashimi. I also enjoy the tiger roll and the general Tso chicken. Prices are cheaper on Tuesday-Thursday, and about $30 between Friday-Sunday. The service is very quick, and the owner is always super friendly with a smile on her face. I also appreciate that it is BYOB. Lastly this is a great place for groups, but just be sure to give them a call in advance. Many people also order takeout or a la carte from this place if AYCE is not your preference.

Overall, my husband and I are repeat visitors here. Not only is it an affordable AYCE sushi spot,…read morebut there's also a wide variety of options. We visit at least once or twice a month--that's how much we enjoy it. The weekday AYCE deals are especially great. Service can depend on when you go; it's usually attentive, but on weekends or during popular weekday AYCE times, it may take a bit longer to be attended to due to how busy it gets. Other than that, we haven't had any issues. The food is consistently good, and the atmosphere is standard--perfect if you're looking for a casual place to eat.

We chose hibachi which was on the left side of the restaurant. It was very tight seating for us as we were the last people to sit at the table. My baby sat in the high chair at the corner. It was sooo cramped. If one person on the inside needs the bathroom we'd all have to get up and move for them. We had to pass the drinks and soups down to the people sitting on the inside. Our hibachi chef was good, he was funny. No one wanted sake at our table so he asked my baby if she wanted water and squirt it at her mouth using the pee boy toy. Mostly got on her chin and shirt. It was funny, everyone laughed and the baby got a balloon goat right after. Our chef was the cool one with the music and disco ball with fire on his head when he arrived. The lobster, scallop, shrimp and beef were good. The chicken was breast meat and my family didn't enjoy it. The rice was too hard and the noodles were too salty. We couldn't eat the rice and we tried our best to eat the noodles. The hibachi seating area was extremely smoky . Their vents were weak and there was only one or two. It was not enough to suck out all the smoke. They needed more industrial vents, like the ones at Korean bbq's. They also had issues with the cc that night so it was either. Pay with cash or they took down your cc information and texted the receipt to you that night after their machine was back up. Overall we will not be doing hibachi again. Maybe we will do the other side for the sushi meal at the regular tables. It was too uncomfortable for us and the family regretted hibachi.

I loved the starter and mid course palate "resets" (included in overall 18 course count). The inclusion of two final desserts was also appreciated as other omakase experiences in Philly are sushi only. The tamagoyaki is amazing so hopefully it'll be on the menu when you dine! The atmosphere was quiet, only two others dining at omakase with our party of five. The drink server was dressed in traditional Japanese clothing and was mostly invisible, yet present. It felt too intimate to be snapping away so pictured is the menu as of Jan 15 and the final bite - the persimmon cheese cake. The available à la carte add ons at conclusion are nice but our group of hungry guys didn't need to order anything additional. Overall a great spot for omakase!
