Love this place! Inexpensive and delicious. Try their veggie burger and my husband loves the ruben.

Ask the Community - Mil-Lee's Diner

Is this related to the Mil-Lee's Luv-Inn Diner that used to be on Rising Sun Ave? I ask because I worked there. They were very good people who I still think of fondly.

Yes it is. I can't find the story I read but it's something like the husband of one of the female relatives opened it in Yardley. I used to go there when I worked at what…

A friend recently moved to Morrisville and I found myself in the area at lunchtime after a visit. I wanted to try a few things but it looked as though the steak was a big one, so I just had that. The fries that came with it were very good too. As was foretold, the steak was one of the best I've had in years. Let me start with the roll, long seeded torp that had a light toasting. ALL steaks should be so lucky as to have this as a delivery vehicle, most sandwiches too. The beef was tender and nicely seasoned and cheese and onions were evenly distributed throughout. The portion size/cost was very fair, this was 2 meals for me. My only critique would be on the Cooper American cheese used. I would prefer a sharper cheese, Cooper sharp or even provolone. I'll inquire if there are other options. Even if there weren't, I'd still get this anytime. I saw several other lunch items of interest to me, and in the right frame of mind and early enough several breakfast options too. Service was friendly and fast. I'll likely be back next for the shrimp tacos, or just another steak. I'm at a 4.5 with just the one visit, stay tuned....

We have been there several times already so I was surprised I hadn't reviewed it. The food here is always fresh and the staff can be slow at times they are always friendly. Serving breakfast and lunch they have creative menu items and standard classics. With minimalistic decor the place is comforting and inviting. Hosting tables, booths and counter seating there is plenty of room for everyone. The open kitchen is a treat allowing you to see the magic behind the curtain. Decent fresh food, plenty of unique daily specials. A solid 4 stars.

From the look of things, it has fallen into the strongest ownership and has a great chance of achieving longevity in this old river town neighborhood. If jazz is your sound, Rosetta's will fill that niche in your soul. From the moment I walked in and took a stool at the counter, the smooth jazz soundtrack kept me company. The presence of a full drum kit, electric keyboard and microphone stands in the front of the house by the entry door had me wondering if I would be lucky enough to audience a morning session. It wasn't to be, but it sure did set the mood for evening possibilities. My breakfast was simple. Sausage, fried egg and provolone cheese on rye sandwich, with side of home fries (onions & peppers added). The chef's skilled hands were visible from my seat, as was his laughing interaction with customers who called him out to acknowledge his presence. That was fun. The meal was good, but would have been exceptional had the sandwich been doubled up (2 of everything) and presented on an English muffin of Kaiser rather than sliced rye. The limited choice of white, wheat or rye for this creation missed the mark. Those taters on the other hand, were excellent and the java strong, fresh and tasty. PRO TIP - Add this big boy to the morning menu as a choice for those who appreciate what double meat, egg and cheese can do for the satisfaction of the hungry. Otherwise, it was all worthwhile. That Sunday brunch with mimosa and AYCE spread accompanied by live jazz is totally appealing, and we may drop in soon.

Metro Diner Langhorne, PA…read more My family traveled from New York to Pennsylvania for a week of summer fun. The hotel we stayed at did not offer a desirable breakfast, so we drove to the Metro Diner, which was only 5 minutes away. Upon entry, we were immediately greeted with friendly smiles and attentive service. We were seated very quickly despite the small morning crowd. Our waitress was swift in handing out menus, then taking everyone's breakfast orders. We ordered several plates of egg dishes, pancakes, and oatmeal. The platters arrived shortly; breakfast looked and tasted fresh and delectable. My oatmeal was spot-on delicious; it was not clumpy and dry. Perfectly, the way oatmeal should be made. It was served with brown sugar and raisins, with a seasonal fruit cup on the side. My father complimented how delicious his breakfast tasted, especially the sausage links and bacon. He mentioned that it is sometimes hard to find juicy, flavorful sausage links that are not dried out. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and perfectly sunshine yellow. My husband ordered the San Francisco Benedict. He said, "It is a very nice place for American comfort food." During our meal, Peter, the manager, approached our table and inquired about our dining experience. We thanked him for taking the time to check on us and praised the tasty food and service. I appreciate Peter's diligence and care for customers; it is a sign of a well-run business and creates an atmosphere of trust and friendly connections between customers and staff. We left the restaurant with full bellies and smiles. We returned a day later because the food was memorably tasty. We walked into the Metro Diner again, and it was a short 5-minute wait. We were seated by a different waitress who was equally cheery and helpful. I joked with the waitress about my need for caffeine this morning because my family had a late-night event. She smiled, then graciously nodded; she mentioned she understood. Seconds later, she brought me a delicious black tea. Two cups later, I was wide awake with enthusiasm. We reordered the same breakfast platters. I love the oatmeal with fruit! My daughter took my cantaloupe pieces; they were juicy and fresh. Peter greeted us again, and we chatted like old friends. He was very glad to see us back for another meal. Before we left, we shook his hand and thanked him. Your restaurant deserves the highest compliments. Thanks to everyone at the Metro Diner for the yummy breakfast and excellent service!! The atmosphere is clean, fun, and lively. The menu is diverse. We will return when we are in Pennsylvania again!!

At one point, it even seemed like employees were calling others from the back to look at us. The atmosphere became so unwelcoming that we decided to leave before ordering anything. This happened during what was supposed to be a joyful holiday outing for our family, and it was deeply upsetting. We never expected to feel this way at a well-known establishment. Thankfully, we went to IHOP down the street afterward, where we were treated with kindness and respect. I want to be careful not to assume anyone's intentions, but as a visibly Muslim family, the experience left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. What should have been a normal dining experience instead felt hostile and hurtful. No one should be treated differently because of their religion, appearance, culture, or beliefs. In 2026, there is still so much work to do when it comes to respect, inclusion, and basic human decency. I am speaking up not just for myself, but for anyone who has ever felt targeted, uncomfortable, or silenced because of who they are. Religious discrimination and Islamophobia should never be normalized or ignored. Businesses that serve the public have a responsibility to ensure all customers are treated with dignity and respect. I have submitted a formal complaint regarding my experience and hope accountability follows. Silence protects discrimination. Speaking up challenges it. #Islamophobia #ReligiousDiscrimination #MuslimVoices #RespectForAll #DiscriminationAwareness
