Tried out Mil-Lee's for the first time this past weekend as we had a friend visiting who really wanted to get breakfast. Mil-Lee's does not disappoint! Cute, small diner atmosphere, friendly staff, easy and ample off-street parking behind the building. The breakfast was great and very reasonably priced, especially considering the large portions. They have the shreddy kind of hasbrowns (think IHOP type) rather than chunky potatoes, and I love the shreddy type, which is often hard to find at non-chain diners. The lunch menu also looked good with equally good prices. Place seemed family-friendly as well. Looking forward to coming back again sometime soon! read more

Last Saturday I went here for breakfast. I had a cheese omelet, a few pieces of sausage, home fries, and toast. The omelet was a very okay omelet, the sausage was burnt, the home fries were soggy and cold, and the toast was toast. Even IHOP makes a better breakfast. Aside from the food, the restaurant isn't very presentable, or up to the Yardley standards. The Owner wasn't the friendliest either while he sat us at our table. The only thing saving this restaurant was the good and efficient service. Definitely go to another breakfast diner or even your local IHOP. read more

Perfectly delicious breakfast and lunch. The chocolate chip pancakes were the best we have ever had, and we try them everywhere. Crisp hashbrowns and bacon, too. There's a short wait to be seated sometimes, but it's always worth it. If you're near this part of town and hungry, you'll be lucky to find this cute spot. read more

Great selection on breakfast items, good price points, delcious french toast and chocolate chip pancakes. I love the atmosphere of the whole establishment, they have a picture wall with everyone that visited, a great small town diner. The place fills up in the mornings esp on the weekends. The service is great, the servers have been there for years so thats important to retain a constant customer base. Love going to Mil-Lee's!!! A longtime Philadelphia favorite and now a longtime Yardley local favorite! The food is delicious, the staff are wonderful and as dedicated as it gets, and it's a terrific family atmosphere...pleasant, warm, and they always will put a smile on your face. The owner, Lee, is about a kind and genuine as it gets, there often and circulating to make sure his customers have what they want and need. There are a couple tables on front porch, but even inside they take COVID precautions and have tables properly spaced out. We go frequently for breakfast and brunch--try the pumpkin pancakes or just about any omelette (or really anything on the menu, including the sandwiches for lunch...great chicken and regular cheesesteaks). The Mickey Mouse pancakes are always a hit with the kids. You can't go wrong with Mil-Lee's--they have something for everyone and it's simply a feel-good place in every way! Average diner food. Poor service. Difficult to get a refill of my coffee when the food was brought to the table. Had to wait over 10 minutes for the check and when I just tried to go directly to the cashier and tell him what my order was so I could check out I was told I had to wait for the check. I give Mil-Lee's 5 stars because they're perfect at being a local family-friendly greasy spoon. They offer delicious food with attentive service at fair prices. They are breakfast and lunch and stick to those guns well, not venturing into the dinner game. Wow what an unexpected surprise! Place was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is great! It is like a small town family friendly restaurant, and to top it off it is not expensive at all! I had an eggs Benedict with home fries with onions and peppers and a coffee, and my friend had cinnamon banana waffle with an orange juice, both were amazing and all for about $20! Mil-Lee's is your typical diner in a small dining room in Yardley. It is fairly small and the dining room is very basic, but I do have to admit, the place feels welcoming and cozy when you are there for morning brunch. That's always a plus. Overall, the food is typical diner fair and there really is nothing special about the food. Mil-Lee's is fairly inexpensive and certainly worth your time. I have been to many diners, but for a diner in the Bucks county area, you won't find better and believe me, I looked! The food is fresh and home made, not frozen as some other reviewers would lead you to believe. I have not seen a sleeveless cook in the kitchen. (perhaps they heard the last complaint?) The atmosphere is pleasant and very old-fashioned. The waitresses are kind and refill your coffee often. The plates are overflowing when they arrive, so bring a big appetitie or take a box home. The food is not fancy, but you can dine here for less money than you would spend at any other nearby breakfast spot and you will get more food at Mil-Lee's. Your choice. The price of slightly more than a Wawa breakfast but with steaming plates and a smile. I come here often with my friends and within the past six months have become a regular. I used to go to Pat's in Newtown but though the food there was more "gourmet", it is overpriced and the waitresses ignore you. Not here at Mil-Lee's! If you want a home style, warm and cozy breakfast, don't go anywhere but here! If only they stayed open past 2! read more

Coming back from Philly, my boyfriend and I needed a place for breakfast. We were sick of the neon palaces that pass for diners, and we happened upon this gem of a spot. Didn't expect much, but our waitress was a sweetheart and helped us decide what to get. I got eggs Benedict with pork roll instead of Canadian bacon (it was so, so good), and my boyfriend had the Italian sausage omelet with rye toast. He loved it. We've never had scrapple before, but it was on the menu so we went for it. Oh yeah. Oh, oh yeah. It was fantastic. Easily one of the greatest breakfasts we've ever had, and the coffee was great, too. We left completely full, but we got 3 of their chocolate-covered pretzels for the road. Those were awesome, too. As for the atmosphere in the place, don't expect a high society dining establishment. This is a place to eat some great food, talk to the person you're with, and just enjoy yourself. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in, and we were treated very nicely. We've agreed that this place is worth the drive, and we might just make it down there again. read more

Food is good, but staff always seems a bit unorganized especially at the register when paying. I will say servers are always friendly. The worst for me is the time i always have to wait for my food. I did a pick up this morning and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes.... 20 minutes later I was finally getting my order. read more

We wanted to try something different so yesterday my husband and I went to Mil-Lee's for brunch. I was amazed and couldn't believe that the place was there for years and I'm a Yardley Native! My food was perfect and he enjoyed his too. We sat next to a very lovely couple who told us all about the place and what to try. The waitress was very nice and refilled our coffee when she could. It was a bit busy and very small inside, but it feels like home. Our waitress gave us a sample of chicken salad!! and I must say we are defiantly going back. I wish they had evening hours. Exactly what a greasy spoon neighborhood place should be; out of date decor and food that does it's job-fills you up. Prices are great, as well as the staff. so my boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try one morning and I have to say it was better than expected. since I didn't see many recent reviews I was a little nervous but it was great. they have specials through the week until 11am which is great. we got the #1 which was eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. we then added a short stack of pancakes and a short stack of French toast. the French toast was amazing and I take my French toast seriously :) my boyfriend also really enjoyed his pancakes. he actually did aloud, "wow these are good". he never speaks out about things like that unless they are really good. what really made this trip with it, was the friendly staff, the welcoming atmosphere, and lastly the amazing price. we got all that amazing food for only $17. And the service war fast! so now that I have written a novel about this great place, all I want to say is that we will be back and if you are reading this trying to decide if you should give it a did, I say yes. read more

I have a crush on this little diner. The food is consistently good as is the service. Love sitting outside and relaxing. Even more I love housing a hearty breakfast with just the right grease factor (increase the grease factor per/alcoholic beverage consumed the night before). my review has to be based on breakfast experiences alone since i haven't tried any of their other meals. the food is very good, especially their corned beef and scrapple. their menu is pretty extensive and includes all kinds of egg dishes as well as griddle items. for those who like little bit of nutmeg in their french toasts, this is a good place to order it. there is nearly no wait if you go early in the morning, 8am-ish. the prices are reasonable and the waitstaff pleasant. read more

My husband and I will not return here. Though there were only 6 tables of 2 people eating, in an establishment which seems to seat about 60 people, we were served water and then did not receive service again. In the 10 minutes we sat patiently waiting to give our order (menus closed in the middle of the table), I watched about 4 servers and 2 busers help others, text on their phones, stand behind the counter laughing/eating/watching their other tables, but no one looked our way. I don't know why but I really didn't enjoy this place too much! My mother in law has been raving about it and used to go here frequent when she moved here years and years ago, but... It's not really the place for me, personally, I wasn't impressed with the food or the service. Maybe it was an off day so I would definitely give it another try, since we live in the area. I just felt that they weren't equipped space wise and staff wise to accommodate the large crowds that were coming in the day I was there. The staff seemed stressed out and you could feel it I'm the air, it was stressing me out!! We went on a Sunday morning and it seemed the whole town was there, but you'd think the restaurant,as popular and long standing as it is, would have anticipated the crowds and been prepared. The food was nothing to write home about, they squeezed my family into a half booth half table, then they made has get rid of the table portion to accommodate another group, so we were squashed trying to eat from one table, when there were 4 adults and 2 small kids in our group. It was a little rude to be honest. And service was soooooo slow!!! So bottom line is..... Over crowded, slow service, not great food, and noisy!!!! read more

I love Mil-Lees, I live in town and can walk. The food is good diner fare, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, all the waitresses are terrific! My ONLY complaint is that it's dirty, the back entrance is particularly grimey, I continue to go because everything else is so great. A good scrubbing and outside power washing would go a long way. read more
