Happy hour is great! Atmosphere is cozy. Staff is accommodating and friendly. $1 oysters? Yes please! And they were good too. $10 Stoli martini? Oh yeah. Sitting at a cozy table in front of a fireplace for happy hour with great service? Absolutely a new restaurant added to our regular rotation.

Love this place for happy hour! Get there early though because it gets absolutely packed. On my first visit, we sat at a little table in the corner of the bar, and it was so cute and cozy. The table was small so not ideal for a full dinner but it worked for drinks and apps. We ordered the Autumn Orchard cocktail and a Negroni plus the deviled eggs with trout and roe. Everything was delicious, our server was great, and the old-timey ambiance can't be beat. Since we loved it so much, we made a reservation for Christmas Eve brunch. Again, the decor and vibes were on point. Another lovely server as well. The drinks, a Winter Orchard and Pear Noel, were perfect. The food, however, was average. The butternut squash soup was exceptional but the crab cake Benedict was subpar. The crab cakes were more bready and soggy than meaty, and the breakfast potatoes were cold and not at all crispy. The complimentary muffins were decent and a nice touch. Overall the food was a bit disappointing, but nonetheless, we still love it here and will definitely be back for happy hour!

Cozy, cute yet dressy enough for jeans. Food was great. I didn't try the jalapeño poppers bc of the proccuitto but it looked good. Oyster has a different, almost drier saltier taste compared to the New Orleans style I'm accustomed too. Crab nachos were just okay.... Probably won't get them again. The crab bisque was delicious and well worth it - I didn't even get a picture. Service was 10/10. I really enjoyed that most of the workers seemed to have a genuine smile on their face. Our waiter even said cheers when our drinks arrived which was fun haha

My fiancé an I had dinner here for Valentine's Day (2026). It was pretty packed so I think they did the best they could. Our waiter was really nice. This was my first time there -- it's a bit small. I think they are doing a revamp so; I'm excited to see what that looks like. The food was delicious.

This will be the 4th or 5th time dining here in the past month and a half. I'm never disatisfied. Food is freaking amazining, the best cheesesteak I've had around here. Wedge salad is also amazing. Service is always great too! Will be back next week.

Cute spot for lunch! Indoor seating was cozy and there are outdoor options as well. Service was attentive. Food was solid - they gave little muffins before our meal (what a nice treat!). Loved the fish and chips - super light batter and good portion size. Would recommend!

The ambiance!!!! Amazing!!! It's in an old historic building on the river front. They have outdoor seating and a great dine before dusk special! 3 courses for $38 pp. Our food was delicious and service was very attentive. Would def come back to sit outside and also try their tea time!

This was my first time at Yardley Inn and it was a due to a recommendation from my fiancé. Her favorite spa is in Yardley so my aunt and I took a ride up with her and stopped in for lunch while she was at an appointment. We couldn't find it on their website but brunch is only on Sundays (we heard a couple of other guests ask about brunch while we were there too). We arrived to a packed parking lot and a very busy looking Inn. It appeared they had some kind of shower or event in a private room and there were plenty of available seats in the bar area. We were seated by the windows looking out over the Delaware river. We started with a coke and an iced tea (too early for drinks and we had a long drive home). Our server was great. He was very friendly, made decisive/confident (and great) recommendations, and had a really good memory. My aunt started with a cheesesteak with shaved ribeye and said she never had a cheesesteak like that before. She said the steak melted in her mouth. I ordered a burger per our server's recommendation and was very pleased with my decision. The patty was big and juicy, the bun was soft and buttery, and they didn't skimp on the toppings. Very solid burger in my opinion. We also both loved the French fries and it was clear they were hand cut in house. Prior to ordering I asked about the chicken cutlet sandwich for my fiancé and told our server we'd be placing a to-go order for my fiancé. As our food came out our server asked if we'd like to put in the order for the chicken cutlet sandwich. I thought that showed he was actively listening and attentive. Along with that he was very appreciative, personable, and professional. My fiancé also thoroughly enjoyed her sandwich and fries. While we have a long drive to the Yardley Inn, I'm sure I'll be back again. Next time I take the ride with my fiancé for another one of her spa days, I'll make sure to stop back in and try something else off their menu since our experience was so positive.

Peach and goat cheese salad earlier

I ordered the peach Ang goat cheese salad. It was alright- the chicken was a bit overcooked & the salad could've used more goat cheese and dressing. I think if those were fixed it could've been better. The server was great and attentive. We saw outside right by the river, but ended ip going inside because of bees. I've been here a few times and would go back, but might not order the salad again.

A look at reviews from the last few years read of disappointment in the products available in their cold displays. A change was needed to inject new life and renewed quality into the good Capt'n. That has been accomplished. My recent visit demonstrated that management is actively engaged in rebuilding brand by focusing on returning everything that the seafood market was previously known for to their former glory, as well as expanding with high end crab adjacent goods, like packaged pastas, pierogi, sauces and Stock pound cakes. All this, and the smiling repartee from Mark, one half of the new team running the business. This shop may be small, but it is bright and friendly. Of course, the crab is excellent, especially in light of the fact that Chucky is no where near the Chesapeake and must have inventory all year, and not just in crab season. No whole live crabs in the house, but their thing is the cake that lump crabmeat can create. Several options depending on your taste are available. I purchased a quart of Cream of Roasted Corn & Crab Soup and sampled three large fresh Shrimp. The chowder was delicious, with lots of corn and shredded sweet crab. Maybe not quite as meaty as I have loved in Annapolis, the Eastern Shore or the Delaware Beaches, but compelling nonetheless. Maybe next time I will pick up some of the pierogi and pound cakes to create a full meal. 5 Crusty Stars and only five miles from home.

Arancine crispy risotto stuffed with ragu bolognese, pomodoro, pecorino- I was not aware it's an actual shredded meat inside the arrancini usually it's just plain cheese stuffed. The pomodoro sauce i was not a fan of I was not sure if it's just blended tomato sauce because i could taste the raw garlic and the sauce itself is so much liquidy( we make our own tomato sauces at home from our garden we grow heirloom tomatoes). Calamari Fritti crispy fried calamari, roasted tomato pesto, basil oil- a couple of the squid it's so rubbery I hardly ate them. It's a NO for me. Pasta Fritta Crispy bucatini pasta fritters "alla Nerano", zucchini, provolone, sweet corn bechamel- this has 2 portions, This is the best one of out the other two apps I ordered. I never would thought about making a buccatini pasta as a fritters with zucchini and the sweet corn bechamel made my night.! If I come back again- this would have been my entree and will order 2 servings. Our entree: Spaghetti alla Carbonara spaghetti pasta, guanciale, egg yolk, cream, pecorino cheese- I love it although I got too full from Eating the buccatini fritters. The guanciale Has a smokey flavor but not overpowering. The carbonara has great flavor. Penne Pomodoro e Basilico penne pasta, tomato sauce, pecorino cheese, basil oil- I feel the pomodoro sauce is weak. I had better tasting tomato sauce than this one. My guest upgraded it and got ceasar salad (no picture bc I forgot. It was $2 and i feel the ceasar to small , not enough ceasar dressing and we said no onions- they had onions in the salad. They could have served in a bowl rather in a small plate. For dessert I ordered Flourless Chocolate cake- I had better one from Other restaurants. It's chocolatey but i feel something is missing. I should have ordered the lemon tart instead. Overall, I feel that the atmosphere and service were mediocre. Did they not know about any bday celebration tonight? I added it in my open table reservatioWe were the first one got seated near the front door that one room With 16 ppl by the time we finish our dinner. Our server was not very much attentive. Our coke and ginger ale were flat and I feel Like it is not the branded coke and canada dry ginger ale served to us. Prices were reasonable. Bill was about $98 for two people. 3 apps, 2 pasta entree and 1 small ceasar salad, 1 Dessert I gave 3 stars because I love the buccati fritters and the carbonara. Other than I had better italian food. I was hoping to be seated where the main dining room but we weren't seated there.
