Time for February nails! Set up an appointment a while ago with Hannah at 9am. The day has already arrived. Hannah was sick and not coming in. Nick took over and he was okay. I showed him a a pic of what I wanted. Dip nails with a chrome finish. He got the colors and got started. I was happy to have a $5 off coupon sent to me, but pretty annoyed that, after I told him, he kept telling me it needs a fresh dip. Costs $5 and then asking as he did my nails, if I wanted fake nails to make nails longer with an additional charge. I told him no. I want to keep it natural. Not welcoming or easy to talk to. At all! Hoping nails turn out good! Music playing and Price is Right on TV making the experience better! Thank God! Then, I said I didn't like how it was looking and he got really angry and was really rude to me. I was shocked! Even started being forceful in finishing my nails. Couldn't wait to be done! The young lady that did my pedicure didn't say hi or introduce herself and the owner was micromanaging her. They charged me an extra $5 to take the gel off a few of my toenails. I think if you're a regular, they're good! But if you're new and just need a quick nail color, don't go there. Nail has air bubbles all over because they want you in and out! They make you feel like they're in a rush for you to get out since you're only doing a simple/regular gel polish. If you're willing to pay $37 to get nails chipped in 3 days, then you can go here. read more

If you need a great nail technician, Michelle is the best. I have had acrylic nails for at least 20 years and before I started going to Michelle I always had problems with my nails coming apart behind my nails and I had to get fills every 2 weeks. Now, I am so happy with my nails and can go until they grow out. She is fast, making appointments is easy, and she just does a great job. I have also gotten great pedicures from Mimi and Uri. Sometimes you have to wait when you have an appointment, but they try to minimize that. Michelle will also do fun designs or requests when you ask. Edit after the owner's response: I did say I had an appointment time with Michelle and I had no issue waiting. Nothing was communicated to me like "oh she will be with you when she finishes or you can try someone else." All that was said was come on back this other lady is doing it. It's uncomfortable to argue w staff so most people just go with the flow. I am not the issue here yet you're passing on me? HA! That highlights your lack of customer service. I said everyone was nice and tipped. Now I wish I hadn't since you're "passing" on me! That's hilarious. This platform is meant to review your experience at salons and as long as I keep it professional, you don't get to call me a complicated client because all that does is reflect poorly on your business. And after reading other reviews, I can see that I am not the only person that has had this experience with appointments. If your staff does not communicate the options to the client, you certainly cannot later attack them for being "complicated." Original review: While the people here are friendly, they're not going to honor your appointment and will treat you like you're stupid. I was referred here and told to have Michelle wax my brows, so I called and specifically made an appointment when she had availability. Had I known that she wouldn't be doing my brows, I would have just walked in or gone somewhere else. Upon arrival, they acted like I couldn't clearly SEE that she was doing nails and wasn't going to do my brows. Another lady, Cindy maybe?, waxed my brows. And while she was very kind and took her time, my brows look like some 90's atrocity that I could have executed on my own. The left brow is shorter than the right, and I came in with thick brows that are now in uneven lines. Despite a sign on their register wall stating that they give a discount if you pay in cash, I was charged full price. I don't argue these things, I just pay and never return. I came in for a gel manicure, Christmas edition! When I left, I noticed the "red" looked totally orange. I took a picture to show my husband. He agreed. I came back to ask if they could paint over with a new color that was actually red. I knew it was my fault because I had picked the color, but I was not about to have orange and green for Christmas! Michelle told me it was not their fault and that it only looked orange because it was a picture on my phone. I said I only took the picture on my phone because I noticed it with my eyes. She did not understand and kept saying it was my phone. She did eventually agree to redo them. I asked how much it would be and she said I did not need to pay. That was nice, but I was already totally embarrassed by the gaslighting from Michelle in front of every customer in there. The man that did my nails, Henry I believe (?), did a great job and was very kind. I originally paid on Venmo, so when I was done with the redo I asked if I could tip Henry on Venmo. Michelle said, "if you could, that would be nice". I wish you could hear how she said it, though. It was very rude with her tone of voice. I attached pictures of the two colors. Had a great experience here, I've come to this place 2 times & both of the times I got Nate, he's really good if you want groomed feet. I got the deluxe package for $70 which takes care of all feet related issues. Nate takes his time & scrubs throughly to remove any rough skin & fixing any irregularities in between the feet. I wanted to love this place. Michelle the owner is great, she didn't do my nails but I watched as she did stiletto nails for another customer. I came in with a bridal party on friday and she had drinks, cut fruit, chocolate covered strawberries, and candies for us to enjoy while we got our nails done. The staff I interacted with was nice and we had a few laughs. Personally, I enjoyed the salon. Just didn't enjoy my mani. I asked for a light pink gel with French tips. The woman who did my nails, I didn't catch her name, showed me two colors one looked more orange than pink and the one I went with had a pink tint-ish, but it was pretty weak. I figured it would be ok. I never had gel nails done before in a salon, I usually do my own nails. So when she gave those options, I just went with it. The end result was a milky looking color, didn't notice a few bubbles until after i left. She only did one layer saying she didn't want to make it heavy, but later in the day i was wishing she had done at least another layer cause it didn't look even at all in the light. The whole thing just felt rushed, compared to the rest of the girls in our party. It's now Sunday evening and the gel on one of my nails already lifted. I would like to start by saying that this salon is very nice for NAILS and nothing else. Please, please do NOT get your eyelashes done here. My eyelash tech of many years is on maternity leave and I was desperate to get my lashes done for a photo shoot so I gave Milan a shot since they were able to get me in same day (first red flag) I should have known better than to let a nail salon touch my eyes. I was quoted $150 for mega volume and $130 for volume. Once inside and laying down my lash tech said she couldn't do mega volume "because that would be to many lashes for you" and mind you I have been getting mega volume lashes for 5 years. I was confused why I couldn't get what I wanted to pay for. During the lash appointment I felt a lot of stinging and I figured it was from a different glue but I also felt that the eye pads were not placed properly but she insisted that they were. THREE hours later my lashes were done they were NOTHING like volume or mega volume. She kept saying next time she would make then 10x thicker for me. Ok???? Well, when I got to the front to pay, I was charged $150!!!!! Even though I was told I couldn't get mega volume. I should have disputed the price then but I had been there for over 3 hours and I was ready to go. Now the scary part. That night my eyes were so red and irritated to the point I could barely move my eyes. Like my eyeballs had been bruised. I was scared!! The next day my eyes were so red I called the doctor. Now mind you, I know that SOME redness is normal after lash extensions (like I said this isn't my first rodeo with lashes I know what's normal). I messaged the owner of the salon and she said my eyes looked normal!!!! And that the price discrepancy was misunderstanding. Really?! I didn't argue but I said I wanted a refund. She decided that a refund of $30 was enough. I moved on. Now today, my doctor has said that my eyes are worse and I have a HEMORRHAGE in my eyeball from trauma. I messaged the owner again letting her know I had filed a dispute with my credit card company and I don't think I should pay for being injured. She said I was being UNFAIR. I am shocked that a business owner cares more about $150 than the health and well being of their clients. I loved getting my nails done there, but after being treated like this I will never go back or let anyone I know go there. My fault for trusting a nail salon with something so delicate as an esthetician procedure like lash extensions. Learn from my mistake. read more

CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW GREAT MICHELLE IS?! Okay, so first of all, something about me is that I can be super ocd when it comes to fine details on my nails -cuticles, the way the polish is, etc. I also have nail beds that are on the shorter side so I couldn't really give her much to work with. But Michelle is definitely super talented. Michelle really went above and beyond in meeting my needs for my gel manicure. This is my favorite nail salon in Fresno. I've never had a negative experience here. I am always greeted quickly when I walk in. The place is clean and they have a good selection of colors. The employees are attentive, friendly, and professional. The young male nail technician named Uri (or Yuri?) always does an awesome job. And if for some reason your nail/nail color gets unnecessarily damaged/chipped soon after you get them done, they will gladly and promptly fix it for you with a smile and without charge. I got my nails done for an event and I had an idea of how I wanted them based off a Pinterest post and they did what I showed them but then didn't tell me it was going to be $45 for gel nails and a week later they look like this. I went in to get it fixed and then had them paint clear gel over it so the design wouldn't get messed up but then the gel top coat peeled off all my nails by the next day and the deign came off more nails. This is only after a week of having them done. I went back yet again and they gave me a gel polish change for $10 and the girls who did my nails both times were very friendly but the owner was very helicoptery and was standing by me the whole time talking in Vietnamese which made the experience less comfortable than it could have been because it felt as though she was complaining that I wanted nails redone.
