Tgis is one of my favs on the key for something that's really good but isn't too expensive. I can usually be in and out of this place for $20-$25. Redwine's are pretty good here how I usually don't drink when I come. Sometimes there's a pretty happening crowd; now that is for KB of course. The brie bites are fucking killer though!!!! Absolutely unbelievable. Perfect mix of rich savory tastes, with a sweet hint from the apricot jam dip, and a little salty but at top where the doughs tied. Milanezza is my go to family restaurant in KB. Why you ask? Well the food is really good, so is their beer and wine selection. Their milanesas are fantastic (and huge) I normally order the small one and have some left over (unless I am super hungry), or I split it with someone else. The kid meals are good too. The beauty of this place is the choices of milanesa: beef, chicken, or fish; baked or fried; toppings. That alone is a lot of choices, just looking at the milanesas menu, these come with sides too. I really recommend the squash side. It's sweet and savory and super good. Of course the fries are really good too. For desert we've had the dulce de leche brownie (it may have been a special), a while ago. Normally I'm too full to get a desert. The kids do get free lollipops from a lollipop tree!!! read more

This relatively new restaurant's specialty is basically this: take a chunk of beef, chicken, or fish, bread it, deep fry it, and put one of many delicious toppings on it. Within those constraints, it's very good indeed. The service was fast and courteous, almost eager. Also enjoyed the provoleta. Plan on coming back. This was an interesting place...it had a 50s vibe with Casablanca plying on a loop in the TVs. The food was great. First, I have to say what a Milanezza is...think pizza but instead of pizza crust breaded meat is used (chicken, beef, or pork). We had the milanezza sampler which is 3 of the milanezzas in a small bite presentation. The concept was intriguing, we were on Key Biscayne look for a place to lunch. This place was not very busy and the staff was so friendly and engaging-they actually invited us in as we were passing by. Everything we ordered was awesome-except for the truffle fries. The truffle flavor was overpowering and off-putting. Pricing was good for Key Biscayne and the staff was very atttentative and engaging. Since we live so far away from Key Biscayne we can't visit often but if back on the key-it's on the short list! read more

I was taken to this restaurant by an Argentinian friend. Really cute decor inside - don't let the shopping center location fool you. The best empanadas in Miami ( brick oven roasted). Their specialty is Milanezza, which is lightly fried meat, chicken, fish or eggplant with selection of toppings ( I like cheese and mushroom topping). Awesome mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, butternut squash. Haven't tried the desserts, as I am always too full. They bring you a lollipop tree at the end of the meal. Worth the drive. read more

I wasnt pleased my second visit... unfortunately... We had sat a table by wall. Too many flies and mosquito.. we were offered some bread which was nice but never got served however we were the only customers at the time. Im a salmon salad girl, i have to order it wherever i go . but today My salmon salad's dressing was too sweet. And Served with round creamcheese, (why not mozzarella?) strawberry, blue berry and bunch of spinach. Man, topping isnt really matter on salad. At least , salmon and dressing gatta be tasty. Unfortunately my salmon taste like. Too frozen salmon from package .dressing is missing something. If u add creamcheese on a salad you shouldnt add anything. Really nice comfortable place. Service as expected! Servers looked happy to be working there. Food was impeccable. I was warned that the Brie Surprise was small ... actually tiny but ridiculously delicious! My companion had one of the salads as an appetizer. No complaints there. I had the skirt steak which only comes with one complimentary side. There are plenty of sides to choose from but I picked the great soft jasmine rice which does accompany the skirt steak perfectly ... if I were to pick another side it would've been the asparagus. I only drank plain water and chose not to have red wine which I would have customarily requested. Prices are in line for this kind of well prepared food and great service but many would probably think pricy. Well worth the treat if you are of the mind that food is not something to ever cheat yourself with ... you will not be disappointed by the gourmand or tantalizing palate treatment. read more

Delicious food and great service. This restaurant is great for families, with a staff that is superb and treats you like a valued longtime customer. The owners are regularly on-site, so things run smoothly. They offer a delicious salmon, that is perfectly cooked. I love their french fries too--my favorite is truffle. They have a special, lightly breaded chicken, beef, or eggplant. I have had each and they are all great, but my favorite is chicken. Their New York strip and steaks are excellent. We got lucky with such a great variety in the menu.. it's also well priced where portions are large. Their trademark of beef steaks are worth the drive. You can get also chicken or fish Milanezza. I hate writing a bad review, especially where a restaurant, like Milanezza, has a large number of exceptional ones. Unfortunately, this is such a time. We arrived at the restaurant and had difficulty getting seated. The manager explained that they had unexpectedly been swamped by a set of larger groups and begged us to stay. Trusting the manager, and with a memory of the reviews, we did. The Caesar salad I ordered was presented in a small bowl with dressing on the side, much like I would expect from a Wendy's salad. The soup we ordered tasted like veggies in a blender without seasoning. The veal Milanese was not available, so I opted for the beef. It was relatively tasteless - a deep fried steak. The pasta was no better. Restaurants have bad nights -- and perhaps this was one of theirs. The manager did comp much of our meal - so there was a silver lining of sorts. We hate wasting an opportunity to have a nice meal, regardless of cost. In that dimension, this was a failed evening. read more

Wow, my husband and I were so pleased with this visit! We had drinks, tapas, empanadas, and the Florence. The crispy artichoke was great. The empanadas we're good, chicken was our favorite and we went during happy hour so it was a great deal! Last time I was here will be the last time I ever step foot into Milanezza. Our server, Mateo, was rude, didn't care and acted like we were bothering him the whole time. Cups were constantly empty, we couldn't find him half the time. I asked to speak to a manager, I believe his name was Matt or max, and he agreed with him! Saying they were understaffed and Mateo was trying his best. Awful, awful. No attempt to make our meal better or try to keep us as costumers. I spent a lazy Sunday on key Biscayne this past weekend, sun bathing, people watching, etc.. We decided to have a late lunch at 100% Natural. I invited a few Key rat friends, and After finding out that 100% Natural lost their liquor license, they insisted that we leave immediately, good call. We meandered over to this place and ordered a few drinks, two sangrias and several beers to start I am giving this place three stars for a few reasons, I would give it zero stars but I did not try the food, in fairness I'm splitting it 50-50 giving them the benefit of the doubt. We only drank, which in my mind should be easier for the place to handle and all margin. Unfortunately they were severely understaffed, The one guy was slow and ineffective. To make matters worse he was all thumbs, he spilled the first sangria pitcher when he poured it. No top off or free drink afterwards, A big no-no in my book. I can't even remember if I got a sorry. I could have lived with all this and certainly accepted it since they guy was in dire straights, but when we asked for the bill we had to ask again, and again, and then FINALLY 45 min later (we counted and rounded down) the check appeared. I may return since there are only like 14 restaurants on the key, but they need to speed up service and attention to the customer. read more

Food was brought by another person. Indicated I was missing my beer. They brought me a beer, just not the beer I ordered. Waitress was still MIA. Finally she came over we asked for some bread. I watched her go over to server station not get is bread and proceed to other tables. Finally the bidder came over and then went and got the bread. One last piece of advice, savor your water. This placed rocked. I haven't eaten in the Key Biscayne area in years but am glad I chose wisely. This is an Argentinean spot that isn't pretentious but rather full of delicious, plentiful fare. We ordered one of their signature Milanezza's which is your choice of breaded beef or chicken steak with various toppings. We opted for the chicken which came with Arugula, melted mozzarella cheese, kalamatta olives, prosciutto and cherry tomatoes. It was delicious, the chicken was moist and the breading perfect. It's basically a chicken pizza without the overbearing sauce, if you will. We ordered the roasted veggies and their signature butternut squash mash, both perfectly cooked and flavorful.
