Milano cafe is owned by Sammy. The food is delicious. I am 100 percent Italian and I had the eggplant it was perfectly cooked. My daughter had the pizza ! I highly recommend this place to eat. It has a lovely menu and it is beautiful inside !!!

Second time enjoying the food here. The owners are the sweetest and very accommodating. After dinner we have enjoyed dessert and coffee. Its so relaxing here, that both times we have stayed past closing! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. It is my go to for a quite italian dinner wether alone or with good company.

I had a good meal, but my colleagues meals were only ok. For basic dishes, like bruschetta or eggplant parmesan, you should be nailing it if your more elevated plates like the tortellini piemontosa are absolutely exquisite. I never expected to enjoy berries in a pasta dish, but they gave wonderful contrast. My partner enjoyed the drunken linguini, but the bruschetta appetizer was way too salty (I think it was the cheese, but still too salty for mozzarella). The garlic bread was ok, but it looked like something that could easily be made at home - just toasted parmigiano on bread, not really garlicky at all. Partner sampled some of the eggplant parmigiana and the chicken piccata, and was not impressed. Not horrible, but expectations were higher given the quality of mine and his dish. The interior was nice though. The seats were very cushiony and our server was very polite. Just a bit of a bummer on the food.

Golden Hour is a cute spot that serves as a coffee shop serving light breakfast and by night, transforms into a cozy spot to unwind with a glass of wine and canapés. Fair warning--if it's your first visit, finding it can be a little confusing. It's tucked inside an apartment complex and shares the outdoor courtyard with the residents. With that being said, since it's creative in its location, it gives a relaxed, neighborhood vibe where you'll find young mothers yapping, corporate employees working and girlies catching up. Unfortunately, if you fall into the corporate employee category like myself, the coveted corner table is the hottest seat in the house since it's the only unique seating with multiple outlets. Otherwise, you'll find sneaky floor outlets at the community table and another a few tables away from the corner seating area. I had the Miso Panela Latte and their signature Breakfast Burrito. While the burrito isn't as "hearty" as other places in size, I thought it was filling enough to share with my partner for a light breakfast. The Miso Panela was delicious and so unique compared to other basic offerings in Austin. NOTE: Happy Hour is offered daily from 4-6 PM where you'll get $2 off wines by the glass, draught beer, and cocktails. In addition, Focaccia by the slice will run at $4.

It is on the pricier side compared to other Vietnamese restaurants so it is not something we get too often. Hainan Chicken ($25): Really good and feels like a healthier option. Make sure you use all of the sauce though because that is where the flavor is. It also comes with a broth that is so good we just drank it straight. Honestly better than the pho broth. Chicken Pho with Beef Broth ($23): The shredded chicken was overcooked and the broth was just alright. The portion was generous though.

I recently came with two friends and we ended up splitting a bottle of their sauvignon blanc which was truly perfection on a warm day. We also tried their fondue and obviously snagged a bruschetta board. We opted to the brie apple fig, warm artichoke, pepper jam goat cheese, and a prosciutto for our omnivore friend. I loved all the ones that I tried but the pepper jam & artichoke definitely stand out as my favorites. I'm obsessed with the whole concept and feel like its the perfect snack to pair with wine. I mentioned it to our waitress and she was super accommodating, swapping it out for a glass of wine she recommended, which I appreciated even though the wine itself was just okay. I also got the green garden chop salad without chicken, which was fresh and light but honestly not worth $17. Overall the place feels pretty overpriced for what you actually get taste-wise. That said, the location, service, and atmosphere were lovely. I'd consider going back for the vibe!!

Their burger is easily one of the best I've had in Austin, especially paired with their thin, crispy fries. It's my go-to order almost every time. One thing I love is that they switch up the steak portion of the menu a few times a year, and it never disappoints. Right now they have the steak au poivre, which is incredible, although I'm still craving their steak frites and hoping it makes a comeback. The escargot and French onion soup are also favorites of mine. At this point, June's has become a staple in our house--usually with a couple of Diet Cokes and either the burger or whatever steak they're featuring. A few of my friends swear by the chicken sandwich (fair warning: it can get a little messy!), the half roasted chicken, and the tuna crudo, so you really can't go wrong no matter what you order. On top of the amazing food, the staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, which keeps us coming back. I definitely recommend making a reservation since it tends to get pretty busy, especially during peak hours.
