I was genuinely surprised with how deeply disappointing this food was. I am a sucker for Italian and it does not need to be top-shelf for me to dig in, but this was almost inedible. We got this via DoorDash, but I don't think the to go nature of our experience had any meaningful impact on our experience. I ordered the rigatoni vodka with meatballs and a half of garlic bread to go for the first time visiting. The space was clean, modern with decor, and quick service. My to-go order was piping hot when I got home and the pasta was delicious. The bread was flavorful, but I wanted a crispier bottom initially, but it soaked up the sauce perfectly. Portions of half of the garlic bread was 4 pieces and the portion of the pasta was enough to have a serving at dinner with the remainder for lunch the next day. WOW. Best. Pasta. Ever. I got the chicken alfredo, and it is so fresh and so delicious. It's a little pricey, however the pasta bowls have enough for leftovers, so I'd say it's very worth it. Was always hesitant of trying Pasta Project; but we wanted to give it a chance. We walked in with the intention of just trying a few things we normally wouldn't make at home. So we ordered the Chicken Carbonara which was a little on the oily side (prob just needed to drain the bacon a bit more) but the chicken was well seasoned and delicious. We also ordered the Chicken Rigatoni Ala Vodka. This was perfect. The vodka sauce was creamy and a perfect amount. The chicken again delicious. There's something about their chicken that's just simple and delicious. We also ordered some extra breadsticks and alfredo for dipping (so we could try it out). If your up for trying a third sauce this is a good trick; and well worth it as it's a solid alfredo. Not too heavy and not overly cheese flavored. They had two drinks that I highly recommend - the Hibiscus Lemon Refresher which is my new favorite drink and the Lemon Cayenne Reset (my wife liked this one; it wasn't for me). I'm leaving this at a strong 4 stars and it's only because of two things: 1. The Carbonara was a little oily - and again i think it was just a product of the bacon not being drained enough 2. The wait. We didn't mind the wait - but they definitely were getting slammed and if you're in a rush - you may get upset. They make these pasta dishes to order and they're fresh and hot - so be patient. We'll definitely be coming back with the kids to try some more off the menu and create some dishes ourselves as well! read more

Plenty of pastas, sauces, topping, and protein options. Personally, Alfredo knocked it out the park for me! Portions are quite large too. The team was extremely friendly and the owner made it a point to greet every customer as they and wish them a good night as they exited. Plenty of seating available and didn't feel cramped. While I've noticed the place on quite a few FB groups and knew it was a crazy couple weeks after opening, we gave it some time. I know it is fresh because you can see them making it. But I do not believe they are using a good flower for their pasta. It was not al dente. The food was just served in a plastic bowl. It is a just a plain Jane pasta place. I have had better at Capris Italian, and that is saying a lot. If your name consists pasta it should master it. This was my second visit. The first was near their grand opening and the I received my food an hour late, but the food was delicious and, hey, they were still working out the kinks. Corporate hasn't done local franchisees any favors with their websites. They use different names for identical items in their menu and in the online ordering pages. My wife couldn't complete our order online as the site would t let her complete the order. She called the Scuffletown location (I double checked the number on their Facebook page, though this number differs from the website). This is a great place. This was my first time there. I was worried they wouldn't give enough sauce bc I like a lot. But they put so much sauce in there! It was very good and you get a lot! I ate off mine for about 3 meals. Definitely worth the money. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere was nice as well as very clean! There are lots of options for salads or pasta. They have some pastas already listed but I recommend the build your own. You pick your noodles, sauce, protein and 3 toppings. You can add more toppings for .50 cents each. We will be back! I don't mean, they accidentally added too much... there had to be a half cup of oil in my dish (or more) and it was separating from the actual sauce. I did say something and swapped it out for spaghetti and meatballs, but even this dish was very watery and the meatballs themselves are tasted prepackaged and not fresh. My husband has driven by this location multiple times when leaving the sports club. We finally took a minute to give it a try. The staff was very kind and patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted. My daughter went with the kids spaghetti and meatballs. My husband ordered the spaghetti bolognese with sausage added. In one sense fast food pasta takeaway seems like a clever idea but Pasta Project isn't very good and certainly not worth the money. Nothing but kids behind the counter and they seemed a bit all over the place with customer service - from order taking to food preparation and actually delivering your order in its entirety when the food is ready- our experience was a mess! We ordered a kid's spaghetti/meatballs, a fettuccine alfredo with chicken and broccoli, a chicken carbonara and a side of breadsticks. Food came out in containers so small it was hard to eat out of them (we dined in for this visit) - plates would be much more conducive for dine in customers. The breadsticks were not ready when our food was called and I had to personally go up several times to inquire about them (they kept forgetting to bring them out when they baked a fresh batch and customers would keep coming in to place orders so guess who got the "fresh" breadsticks in their orders as they left?) - anyways, we finally got our breadstick order but by then we were not hungry for them and had halfway picked through our meal so we just wrapped them up to go. They were not good breadsticks and ended up going to the dogs. The alfredo was underwhelming (you would do better with a store bought sauce in all honesty) and I don't even think there were more than 5 small strips of chicken in the dish. The broccoli was just tiny little flecks not even a whole floret. It was quite literally one of the worst restaurants I have been to. I was not expecting fine dining but this place is a joke even for "fast food". Don't waste your money because it simply isn't good tasting food. Spaghetti was blah, meatball mediocre. Nothing positive to say about the carbonara. Try if you want but don't say you were not warned. I would give zero stars if I could. read more
