NO NOTES FOR IAN. I've been salon hopping for years trying to find someone who can do complex designs with builder gel, and also quality manicures that don't lift/chip/gems falling off easily (I work A LOT with my hands) and I'm SO GLAD I found Ian! He was fast af when applying a new builder gel set and I couldn't be happier with the results :D

Ian is fantastic! He's courteous, professional, and very respectful of your time. The quality of his work is top-notch, even underneath the nails is clean. Throughout the appointment, he checked in at every step to make sure I was happy with the length, shape, color, and overall look. When I was deciding on a color, he took the time to show options on my nails which made choosing much easier. The salon also offers a 7-day guarantee in case anything happens to your nails, which is a great added benefit. The space itself is chic and welcoming, and they even offer complimentary drinks. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend Ian and this salon!

Milavu Nail Studio is clean, staff were very nice, prices are great, and only 10 minutes away from my house. As much as I wanted to love it, the technician who did my pedicure today did not seem very experienced. I originally booked with Bonnie but was asked if I would consider a different technician who is "very good" as Bonnie was running behind schedule today. The gentleman who did my pedicure today was very nice but kept chafing my skin with the file as he was shaping the toenails, which were filed unevenly. I came home and had to clip off a sharp end on my big toe myself. Again he was really nice and tried his best to be gentle but he needs a lot more practice with shaping. I'm still leaving a positive review because you can tell that they are trying to run a good business but I don't think it was fair to change out a requested technician with someone who needs more training.

I am so impressed with this nail salon! Clean, quiet, professional, and staff were so attentive and sweet. I feel like normally places rush and cut corners but this place is the opposite. Easy online booking with transparent prices, good color selection, on time service, and each person took their time. They accept Apple Pay, cards, and cash and have an option to add tip on card. They have lots of options to upgrade pedicures and manicures but the basic pedicure was great and thorough. This place is hidden in a quiet plaza but very good find and excited to come back. Also you get a first time customer discount!

Got a mani and 2 pedis and LOVED it. It was easy to make a same day appointment. Everyone was so kind. The pedicure was so relaxing. They went quick but it really felt like they took their time. Not once did anything feel rushed. I will definitely come back here.

I got a beautiful gel x mani and regular pedicure from Wynn and Sue. They both did an incredible job! Thankful that Sue was able to do the design on my manicure, considering that they had already been closed. She took her time and did such a great job. Wynn also took his time and did a great job with my pedicure!

Vivian performed magic on my super damaged nails. She is super detailed in her work and sweet. I'm coming back to her 100%. I had ripped off some gel X nails previously. I had lots of damage and she did the best cuticle care and took great care of my nails. If you could see the before, you would be shocked. The person at the desk was also really nice and it's very professional. The salon is clean and relaxing. Definitely recommend this spot.

I absolutely love Milavu! I first tried this studio in December and they blew me away. The space is so clean and the staff is amazing, chatty and always welcoming. They provide you a drink when you come in and are very prompt in getting you started. I have gotten gel-x done and a pedicure. Both were out of this world and my gel-x nails have always been exactly what I asked for when it came to design and colors! I will definitely be back!

This was my first time visiting, and I had such a great experience. The staffs were super kind and welcoming. I also really loved the aesthetic and calm vibe of this place. It felt very clean and relaxing. My nail techs, Amy and Mia, were so nice and really detail-oriented they'vechecked in with me throughout to make sure I liked how everything was going. My nails turned out so pretty! I'm just sad that the photos are not fully capturing how nice they look tho. Definitely planning to coming back!! read more

I was looking for a new nail salon, and this one had good reviews and was not too far from my home. I went in without an appointment and they were able to serve me right away. I had a simple gel builder fill. The nail tech took their time and was very attentive and really wanted to make sure that my nails ended up how I wanted them to be. They were also very patient with me and made suggestions on what colors I should do my nails. I have to say, this has been the best set of gel builder nails I've ever had. They are not lifting or chipping. I highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back soon. read more

I am super amazed and happy with this place. Just moved into town and needed a place that I trust. I am not a high maintenance woman, but when it comes to my nails, I am very picky. I went to this nail salon from reading the reviews. the reviews are very true. I had an amazing experience with Stella. She did my toes and Kim did my nails . I also appreciate how I went in there super clueless on what I wanted and I needed my nails done for my sister's wedding. All I said was I need you to make me look the best and I told him the color of my dress , Kim & Stella worked together and picked out the perfect color. Also really grateful because I have a lot of ingrown nails. Stella did an amazing job with getting my ingrown nails out. Most places I go to don't care to dig them out. She dig deep into my skin to remove my ingrown nails, which is very important to me. That's the only reason I get my toes done. My new place to go !!! I'll definitely be going back ! Meant to do this a few days ago- I had gone back in to fix one of my nails bc there was clear gel dots that hardened after curing which I didn't notice until days later. I called in the day prior to set my time for a fix. I arrived & when I got there I mentioned why I was there, then sat in the pedicure chair. When i first went i was offered a drink but this time i had to ask, given i wasn't getting a full service but i did spend $60 on a basic gel pedicure.... anyway, the girl who i assume is the owner(?) came to me to fix my nail which she was super kind about but she walked away from someone getting a mani then to me without using gloves- although she touched my clean feet, she went back to do their mani without washing/putting on gloves. overall, the initial service was great but after going in for a quick fix im not too sure. i've been to countless nail salons & im not nitpicky but keep the same energy & wear gloves for sanitation read more

I've paid over $120 at other salons for Gel-X with designs, but here I usually spend around $50-$60. I switch it up depending on my mood: tip and dip, Gel-X with designs, cat eye, or gel and the pricing is always fair for the quality. Definitely try to go on a weekday during their happy hour specials for even better deals! Also, don't skip the pedicure especially the deluxe pedicure. It's such a nice treat. You get a 10-minute leg massage, hot wax treatment on your feet, and everything is cleaned off with a hot towel. Super relaxing and worth it. Great service, great prices, and consistent quality. Highly recommend!

The polish is so bad, it's making my real nails break off completely and they aren't even that long. The nail tech had a really bad attitude when I asked her to fix something. She cut my toenails crooked. She was blaming me for moving. Untrue She got a big tip but was so rude and declined it and said I don't want it. Huge attitude and the business owner has no idea how to run the business. With how poorly it's running, it won't last long until things change. Not coming back here again.

She wanted to feel beautiful and feminine just like her mommy. When she was 4 years old before she was diagnosed with severe ADHD I tried taking her to several nail salons. Unfortunately, instead of patience and kindness, we were met with judgment. Because she had a hard time sitting still, people would make faces, seem frustrated, and treat her like she was a burden. As a mom, that was heartbreaking to watch, and I could see it affecting her confidence. Then I found Michelle's salon completely by chance through work, and it truly felt like a blessing from God. From the very first visit, Michelle and the entire team welcomed my daughter with open arms. They were patient, gentle, encouraging, and made the experience fun instead of stressful. They never made her feel like she was "too much." Instead, they made her feel seen, accepted, and beautiful. Today my daughter is 5 years old, has since been diagnosed with severe ADHD, and she still gets excited every time I tell her we're going to see Michelle. She feels comfortable there, confident there, and genuinely loved. As a mother, there is nothing more meaningful than seeing your child embraced for who they are. Michelle and her team don't just do beautiful nails they create a safe, welcoming space where everyone is treated with kindness and dignity. Their compassion has made a lasting impact on both my daughter and me. I will forever be a loyal customer because of the way they've treated my family. My daughter went in for a Gel-X fill as a birthday gift, and the final result was disappointing. The application was sloppy, the nails were inconsistent in thickness, and the French tips looked blotchy and uneven. My daughter told me that he had to redo parts of the service several times during the appointment. When she got home and showed me her nails, it was clear that the quality of the work did not reflect the $60 price tag or the nearly two hours spent at the salon. My daughter was especially upset because this was meant to be a special birthday treat. I brought her back to the salon and spoke with who I believe was the manager. I appreciated how quickly he addressed my concerns and had the technician correct the nails. While the second attempt looked better, the overall result looked ehh. I do want to recognize the manager for trying to make things right, but based on this experience, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon.

Amy did my gel manicure and Jenny did my gel pedicure, and both came out wonderful!! The majority of nail salons I've been to aren't very precise with the polish around the sides of the nail and near the cuticle, but Amy and Jenny did a perfect job in this respect. They're also very attentive and will change something if it's not to your liking. Overall, my satisfaction with my nails, to the quality of service, to the inside atmosphere is an 11/10! Thank you Milavu, you guys are definitely my new go-to nail salon :) Update: Still coming here! I was rough with my nails and a few of them broke, so I came to get them fixed and Vivian did such a good job. Absolutely amazing experience! I am so sad I just found this place as I am about to graduate and move away. Highly recommend, the staff is quick and so friendly, they immediately offered me something to drink and continued to make sure I didn't need any beverage throughout the service. They did a beautiful job and even helped me pick a color as I had picked one that could have been too light for the design I had picked. Vivian did my nails and she was great! I forgot the name of the girl who did my pedi but she was also awesome. They were both incredibly gentle. The place is spotless, new, and very gorgeous. Decided to try a new salon a little farther out than I usually do and oh it was worth it. I stopped by last weekend early morning for a regular gel manicure and the detail and care that was directed towards a simple gel manicure was different than any other salon I've been too. I hate feeling rushed and like I have to say yes to everything asked just to get out of there since getting my nails done is me time and I absolutely did not feel any sort of rush and that combined with the care towards my nails was really what made me set up an appointment to come back. My roommate told me to check this place out and I'm so glad I did!! I had Vivian - she was amazing!! I showed her some inspiration pics and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She was also so nice and checked in along the way to make sure I liked the colors.
