NO NOTES FOR IAN. I've been salon hopping for years trying to find someone who can do complex designs with builder gel, and also quality manicures that don't lift/chip/gems falling off easily (I work A LOT with my hands) and I'm SO GLAD I found Ian! He was fast af when applying a new builder gel set and I couldn't be happier with the results :D

Milavu Nail Studio is clean, staff were very nice, prices are great, and only 10 minutes away from my house. As much as I wanted to love it, the technician who did my pedicure today did not seem very experienced. I originally booked with Bonnie but was asked if I would consider a different technician who is "very good" as Bonnie was running behind schedule today. The gentleman who did my pedicure today was very nice but kept chafing my skin with the file as he was shaping the toenails, which were filed unevenly. I came home and had to clip off a sharp end on my big toe myself. Again he was really nice and tried his best to be gentle but he needs a lot more practice with shaping. I'm still leaving a positive review because you can tell that they are trying to run a good business but I don't think it was fair to change out a requested technician with someone who needs more training.

Ian is fantastic! He's courteous, professional, and very respectful of your time. The quality of his work is top-notch, even underneath the nails is clean. Throughout the appointment, he checked in at every step to make sure I was happy with the length, shape, color, and overall look. When I was deciding on a color, he took the time to show options on my nails which made choosing much easier. The salon also offers a 7-day guarantee in case anything happens to your nails, which is a great added benefit. The space itself is chic and welcoming, and they even offer complimentary drinks. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend Ian and this salon!

I am so impressed with this nail salon! Clean, quiet, professional, and staff were so attentive and sweet. I feel like normally places rush and cut corners but this place is the opposite. Easy online booking with transparent prices, good color selection, on time service, and each person took their time. They accept Apple Pay, cards, and cash and have an option to add tip on card. They have lots of options to upgrade pedicures and manicures but the basic pedicure was great and thorough. This place is hidden in a quiet plaza but very good find and excited to come back. Also you get a first time customer discount!

Got a mani and 2 pedis and LOVED it. It was easy to make a same day appointment. Everyone was so kind. The pedicure was so relaxing. They went quick but it really felt like they took their time. Not once did anything feel rushed. I will definitely come back here.

I got a beautiful gel x mani and regular pedicure from Wynn and Sue. They both did an incredible job! Thankful that Sue was able to do the design on my manicure, considering that they had already been closed. She took her time and did such a great job. Wynn also took his time and did a great job with my pedicure!

Vivian performed magic on my super damaged nails. She is super detailed in her work and sweet. I'm coming back to her 100%. I had ripped off some gel X nails previously. I had lots of damage and she did the best cuticle care and took great care of my nails. If you could see the before, you would be shocked. The person at the desk was also really nice and it's very professional. The salon is clean and relaxing. Definitely recommend this spot.

I believe I just found my new nail place! My technician, I believe is Tyson, nailed my nail inspo picture, by carefully helping me select the right colors. I got the Gex-X extension because my nails are small, and he shaped them perfectly to my liking and worked fast too. Super impressed with the attention to detail and overall experience!

I absolutely love Milavu! I first tried this studio in December and they blew me away. The space is so clean and the staff is amazing, chatty and always welcoming. They provide you a drink when you come in and are very prompt in getting you started. I have gotten gel-x done and a pedicure. Both were out of this world and my gel-x nails have always been exactly what I asked for when it came to design and colors! I will definitely be back!

Imma let my video speak for itself (it was meant for my sis lol). Tyson did an incredible job. I can be picky with my nails and this man is a perfectionist. I got builder gel and cateye polish and he blended the builder gel so seamlessly to my natural nails. I love my nails so much. This place is also clean, organized, and peaceful. The nail salon was beautiful, very clean, and modern. I decided to treat myself and chose the highest-level pedicure. It was very nice, though next time I would probably choose a mid-level option. I also got cat-eye Gel-X almond nails, which I loved overall. The staff was very sweet and professional. The gentleman at the front desk was especially kind--he answered my call, confirmed they accepted walk-ins, and scheduled my appointment for when I arrived. That made the process very smooth and reassuring, especially since I was nervous after a previous bad experience at another salon. Once I got home, I noticed a few of my nails were crooked, so next time I'll be sure to double-check before leaving. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be back. read more

Fabulous is an understatement! I called for a same day appointment and they accommodated me at my preferred time. The atmosphere was great, with a minimalistic vibe. It was really calm and peaceful inside, which I definitely appreciate. What I especially loved was that I brought a reference photo and Tyson, my assigned manicurist, took a photo of it on his own phone and was pretty much nailed it spot on. I like that they seem to be on top of trends as most nail salons seem to struggle in, but he really put a lot of effort and paid attention to details. I've been trying different nail salons in the area, this is my 4th location this year, and hands down they're the best so far. This location is fairly new, I believe a they've been open for a month or so. The interior is clean, modern, and mellow, soft music playing with a movie on the TV's. The staff was very friendly and let me take my time browsing colors (I hate it when I feel rushed). They're all in matching uniforms, overall it's noticeable that there was a lot of thought into planning. I was lucky enough to have a Gel Mani done by Ian, and a Pedi by Penny. I was so pleased with the entire experience, they were both attentive and gentle, no cut cuticles, nails were all shaped nicely, great shape to compliment my hand and finger shape. Thank you so much SHAYLA . My original shop is so far away and I found Milavu on Yelp thankfully! They replied so fast when I inquired about Gel-X nails. They even had a special deal for first time clients, which is amazing! This studio is so much closer to home than my other, and it's so beautiful. Not only is the interior so nice and inviting, the staff is very professional, sweet and friendly. I was greeted happily and offered something to drink as I checked in. They have great selections too! Makes you feel right at home. Now getting to my services, I got a manicure from Shayla, (no appointment, I was a walk-in) and she did such a beautiful job recreating an inspo pic. They don't use acrylic which is a plus, just because she got my design on point and no mess left behind. She worked so fast and hard on my nails and for that I thank you so much. 10/10 love this place, will be returning for my daily nail appointments hehe. read more

I came across this salon in instagram as I was looking up nail inspiration pictures and the targeted ads worked! I was able to make my appointment using their online system so it was quick and easy! Came in for my appointment and was greeted immediately and offered a beverage as I sat down. The overall ambiance is very pleasant, the salon is clean and calming. This was the first salon I came into where they didn't have massage chairs and I will say it was the comfiest chair I've ever sat in for a pedicure. Service was wonderful and everyone was so kind. I had gel pedicure and gel x manicure done and everything came out beautifully! I can honestly say this is the nicest my nails have ever looked! I think I've found my new go to salon. The place had a super relaxing atmosphere and super aesthetic. The people were really kind! Overall a good experience for an affordable price! I got a gel manicure, my only complaint is that my nail feels the gel is really thin and my nail feels like it could chip at any moment and the color options were limited. But, I would recommend this place! I had this review drafted and I'm coming back to say that I got my nails done yesterday, my nails are already chipping and all I did was pick up a hose. I never write bad reviews, but I'm a high school student and getting my nails done is a good portion of my paycheck and I just feel like I wasted it. read more

We had a wonderful experience at this nail shop and couldn't be more impressed by the quality of the service and the final result. From the moment walking in, we were greeted warmly and offered complimentary beverages. The studio's beautiful, minimalist decor immediately caught my eye. It felt bright, clean, and inviting, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The attention to detail in both the service and the overall ambiance was exceptional. Amy (owner) personally did my daughter's nails and they look amazing and she was so pleased with the end result that was way better than the inspo picture she had brought in. Amy you "nailed it!" Literally and metaphorically! Lol. They recently opened but I just know they will be packed with clients once people find out about this hidden gem. Do book your appointment. Came to the salon to just get my nail Color changed and the front desk man was very rude he said he couldn't change my color because I didn't have an appointment I made the appointment and never received a confirmation he said well how did you make an appointment if you didn't have a confirmation they couldn't find it in there end he didn't want to take my appointment being really rude no apology I left the salon he later called and said they did find the appointment when I had already left the salon still no apology to turn away a customer with out taking there time to check there system read more

I'm very picky when it comes to my nails being done. They really care about your nail health here . They don't make shortcuts and try to match the designs I bring in as much as possible. They are also really welcoming and kind people. Price is pretty fair especially with the elaborate designs I request-- also I've brought my own nail gems before but they already had them in stock. Bring in a photo or have them do a design of their own- you can't go wrong here. read more

Pros: clean salon, they sterilize tools, cute atmosphere/ decor Cons: the chairs for the pedicure don't fully support your back so you can't lean back, not very relaxing. No massage chair. Overall experience: my nails came out pretty good but the service I got was different than the girl sitting next to me. I got seated and was told the pillow goes in my lap and nothing else. Someone got seated next to me a few minutes later, got offered a drink (which I did not) and they placed the pillow along with a towel in her lap. They also checked on her throughout her service and asked if everything was okay but did not do the same for me which was weird since I was sitting right next to her. This place is a little pricier than the usual spot I go to and the pedicure was very simple for what you pay. Heard great things about this place but it was a miss for me. read more

After trying different salons, I've finally found the one - Milavu! The salon is clean and feels luxurious. Katie, Ian, and Amy were so gentle when it came to filing/cleaning, i can tell they know what they're doing. I normally get anxious about my nails hurting or burning, but they did such a good job that i felt super comfortable the entire time. This is the best my nails looked and im so happy with the results! My husband got a classic pedicure and he was very pleased with his experience too. read more

not sure if my techs name but all of them were very easy to work with, kind, and fast! got this set done on both my hands (sorry i don't have a better picture). the woman who did my hands came prepared with gel monkey parts premade so we only had to cure them on i love that she was so prepared and consistently asked me what i thought and if they needed adjusting. great communication and extremely happy with the result! total was around $95 for the designs i got so a little pricey but the result was definitely worth it! highly recommend coming here! read more

I'm a high schooler and I got a gel builder set + soak off done by Ian. Honestly, it was amazing. As soon as I walked in, the vibe was also chill and also smelled really good. As soon as I was sat down, I was asked if I wanted any drinks, to which I got water. Now, before my actual set, I had a soak off of my previous gel builder set. For my new set, I had nail art done on every single nail, plus a little bit of nail repair as everything is on my natural nail, no extensions. Ian was so kind and patient with me! I'm a perfectionist, so when some of the designs looked wonky, he was ready to help fix them, even redoing them. He was very thorough with his work and I'm so happy how they turned out! Sadly, my gel polish started chipping within 3 days and completely peeled off both of my hands within 7 days. While I absolutely believe that they would have fixed it free of charge, I didn't have time to go back and have it fixed. It is frustrating to have this experience with such a basic service such as gel nails. read more

I've paid over $120 at other salons for Gel-X with designs, but here I usually spend around $50-$60. I switch it up depending on my mood: tip and dip, Gel-X with designs, cat eye, or gel and the pricing is always fair for the quality. Definitely try to go on a weekday during their happy hour specials for even better deals! Also, don't skip the pedicure especially the deluxe pedicure. It's such a nice treat. You get a 10-minute leg massage, hot wax treatment on your feet, and everything is cleaned off with a hot towel. Super relaxing and worth it. Great service, great prices, and consistent quality. Highly recommend!

I was a walk-in. After a long day of work. I needed to do something for self-care…read more I was told if I could wait 10 minutes as they were short staff that day, and I went over to another shop to get a waffle snack to wait. Meanwhile. Service here was really great. I decided to do gel since the person who does acrylic was not there, because he was at his sons grad. I felt very welcomed. The girl, who did my nails was very easy to talk to. I told her last minute. I wanted a French tip. She was pretty honest and said she didn't have time for it, but that she could do an ombre for me. I haven't done an Ombre in a while, and it looks amazing. The nails are still holding on very steady . My only regret is that I didn't get to do my pedicure with them as well, because everyone else's feet looked great . Since they were short staffed, I was supposed to go back the next day after work to get my pedicure. However, I had to come home for other reasons. But if I'm ever in the area, I will definitely come here again.

Amy did my gel manicure and Jenny did my gel pedicure, and both came out wonderful!! The majority of nail salons I've been to aren't very precise with the polish around the sides of the nail and near the cuticle, but Amy and Jenny did a perfect job in this respect. They're also very attentive and will change something if it's not to your liking. Overall, my satisfaction with my nails, to the quality of service, to the inside atmosphere is an 11/10! Thank you Milavu, you guys are definitely my new go-to nail salon :) Update: Still coming here! I was rough with my nails and a few of them broke, so I came to get them fixed and Vivian did such a good job. Absolutely amazing experience! I am so sad I just found this place as I am about to graduate and move away. Highly recommend, the staff is quick and so friendly, they immediately offered me something to drink and continued to make sure I didn't need any beverage throughout the service. They did a beautiful job and even helped me pick a color as I had picked one that could have been too light for the design I had picked. Vivian did my nails and she was great! I forgot the name of the girl who did my pedi but she was also awesome. They were both incredibly gentle. The place is spotless, new, and very gorgeous. Decided to try a new salon a little farther out than I usually do and oh it was worth it. I stopped by last weekend early morning for a regular gel manicure and the detail and care that was directed towards a simple gel manicure was different than any other salon I've been too. I hate feeling rushed and like I have to say yes to everything asked just to get out of there since getting my nails done is me time and I absolutely did not feel any sort of rush and that combined with the care towards my nails was really what made me set up an appointment to come back.
