I used to live up here and I fell in love with the in house made zesty blue cheese dressing. Don't forget to order extras to take home so you can dip your left over pizza in it. Their sauce and sausage is better than other places too not to mention the fresh dough. I now drive an hour to get there but I try and take a new friend every time to expose them to this. 2.5 stars. Pizza came out quickly, ordered half cheese and half hawaiian. The pizza was kind of bland, needed something more. Chick who rang us up must've had a bad day because she wasn't too friendly. Anyways didn't hit the spot after a day of snow boarding. Good pizza, but the owners don't realize it's 2020 and they need to be open when people actually want to buy pizza. They don't even have an answering machine to pick up and tell you they are closed for the day, or what their business hours are. Wrightwood is a small town, and the next option is 10 miles away in Phelan (not including the Yodler bar that serves OK pizza). If another decent pizza shop opened in town, and was open on Sundays and holidays, it would shut this store down. read more

No indoor seating other than 2 small benches inside that were being used and no restrooms! After a long day of snow play we found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out. If we had known we were going to have to eat outside in the cold, we may not have tried it. However, we tried the all meat special & Hawaiian special and loved it! 2 large pizzas came out to almost $40 and fed my family of 6. The service was friendly. Although my family and I did enjoy the pizza, there are more downs than ups, get ready to play second hand to the locals, its seems they are priority here and the staff will tend to them first, basically it seems more like a social gathering for them, also make sure you are ready for a nice walk to use the restroom as the closest is 1\4 mile away at the welcome center and if you want to sit down and enjoy the meal I hope you get it to go. The toppings used at Mile High are of great quality which makes the Pizza really good. Omg! This is my second favorite pizza place behind La Monica's NY Pizza in Westwood, near UCLA. I just have to say if your in Wrightwood you have to come here for some great gosh damn pizza!! I mean there are no words to describe how good it is, so you have to go there and try it yourself. While scouting out Wrightwood on a quiet Sunday afternoon we found this awesome little gem in town and it completely made our weekend. The 'all meat pizza' is just as awesome as it looks on the menu and they hold true to their word when they say "Mile high" as that is just about how high the meat was piled on. Quick and friendly service along with super cool music in the background.
