We were passing through town and decided to stop at Pizza Factory for dinner. When we pulled up, we saw a big banner outside of the restaurant advertising a dinner buffet on Tuesdays from 5 to 8 PM. We decided to give it a try and boy was that a mistake! We definitely should've looked at the buffet before paying! It was empty! The salad bar looked completely picked over. When we asked if the spaghetti on the buffet would be replenished we were told by the employee that she'll see what she can do. The few slices of pizza that were left on the buffet were cold and hard. It was almost unbelievable that we paid for a buffet that had no food on it. Finally, the employee brought out a small tray of spaghetti to our table that had melted cheese all over it, and a man started to put pizza out on the buffet. Let me tell you...You're better off heading to the market for a Digorno and jar of Ragu. The food was awful. We would never, ever eat here again. Also, I would like to mention that it was highly inappropriate that a man, who I am assuming is the owner, was complaining about paying his employees the rate that he pays them to another customer loudly enough for us to hear at another table. read more

nothing short of amazing ..home feel with a dash of class id say the pizza is by far the best in the area ....they also make classic dishes spaghetti and meat balls are so good and portions are perfect .they have salad a bar area and a game area for kids ...this is a must see to believe it ..when you walk in it is not what you exspect from looking from the outside in ..it seems so much smaller then it is ..i go here as much as i can to enjoy the pizza and salad ..must stop in to see for yourself . read more

I went to pick up my pizza today. Unfortunately, the people that work there apparently do not like the jobs very unhappy. They do not smile or knowledge even there.. I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for my order only to find out it been sitting in a hot box right there behind the counter, and it wasn't until I finally went up to the counter again asking about my order and the girl found it in the hotbox. I don't know why the employees are unhappy there. They should be happy they have a job. Order was OK by the time I got it and got home it was extremely cold because it sat behind the counter for so long. Need to have someone at the front counter, taking care of business, instead of having them go back-and-forth from the kitchen to the counter. read more

I've been a regular customer at the Pizza Factory in Phelan since it first opened. We used to order pizza just about every week. For the last year or so we haven't been able to. I contacted the owner and she told me that they don't do Door Dash or Uber Eats because there's not enough drivers. Funny, how that is...we order every place else and there are ALWAYS drivers available! I just called the place in Phelan again and asked about Door Dash and Uber Eats. They still don't use them and the girl didn't know why. I asked if they themselves deliver, since it says so on their website. But I guess that's not true either. I actually really like the Pizza here. The crust is nice and thick and everything tasted fresh. My biggest disappointment was that we went in to order 1 pizza and waiting 30mins to then find out it was never started. They offered to start making our order but we opted out and got our money back. Sensing my frustration he said "its because most people here ordered online" Well i walked away very disappointed because I was really looking forward to it. The place inside gives is a cute pizza ambience and feel with some arcade games for kids. I will probably try them again, but this time I will call and order. read more

The owner needs to step up and get this place back to what it was at the last location. The same friendly staff is there but the food has gone down hill badly. Raw dough in both the pizza and bread sticks in the buffet. Half the drinks are out of service for weeks. The salad dressing is so watered down that it hardly has a flavor. Waiting 30+ mins when they aren't busy just for a sandwich. Overall the move seemed to be rushed. I've given it 3 tries since the move and have been disappointed every time. lt will be a long wait to try again and that's sad to say since my family would eat here once a week. I have been here a few times now over many years, the pizza has always been good, not good enough to go out of my way to come here. But the last two visits the pizza that we ordered was really good. I came back was I was in town again and really enjoyed it. The service was good and the pizza came out in a decent time. Found this location on the Yelp app. You made a good choice. The pizza was handmade right in front of us where we could see. All the ingredients were very authentic. Pizza was absolutely delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. One caveat, we recommend that you order a head. This wonderfully authentic pizza takes about 45 minutes to make. Of course, you come and sit down have a couple of drinks, play some pinball and video games or watching television while you're waiting. read more

I've tried other common chains like straw hat, dominoes, Pizza Hut. I've even had New York, Boston, and European pizza, and pizza factory tops them all! The pizza is always made fresh with the best ingredients. They never skimp on the ingredients. You get enough of whatever topping you order. It always tastes fresh and the cheese has flavor. Went to PF tonight ordered 2 pizzas for pick up Showed up and order was apparently lost so the girl at the counter said they would have it ready in 15 min they took my payment by debit waited again & went back in the second time was told they made the wrong pizza this this time So I asked to be refunded and was told it would be 3days before my $ were refunded mind you it was 60$ for 2 pizzas so I told them I wanted the cash I don't feel that I should have to wait three days for a refund. They should've never taken the money before the food was presented. Staff was completely incompetent. I've always had good service in the past but it seems the place has gone downhill. Be aware of their refund policy don't let them take your money card before your food is served or presented for pick up otherwise you'll be waiting three days to get your funds back read more

If you want pizza in town, go for Little Caesar's. Honestly better tasting, better quality and way better cost. Our small pepperoni and mushroom pizza last night had zero flavor. My antipasto salad was not good. Edible, but not enjoyable. If you WANT pizza, go to Yodeler for local or our favorite, Cross Eyed Cow!! Others love the pizza , I prefer little Caesars Pizza, the only other Pizza place in Phelan for 1/3 of the price. I don't care about fancy pizza - cant really taste a difference but others claim they can. I also like butter garlic dip but they don't have it here. So it's a matter of preference and if you want to pay for it. A more recent review- This place has been horrible lately. I think businesses here in town have learned to get away with shoddy food. Uber Eats/Postmates has just recently became available in our area and because I've been sick for quite a few days I've been ordering out more often than usual. Not proud. My issue isnt because it was delivered the problem is straight from the Pizza Factory kitchen. Pizza Factories are known to be active players in the communities they serve. This Pizza Factory seems to have forgotten how important their customers are and that's been made easy because the customers have only one other choice for pizza locally. Out of the last three orders I've made I've ordered the chicken Alfredo pizza twice, pepperoni pizza twice and a medium white pizza. I ask for thin crust every time. I ask for no chicken on the Alfredo pizza and Ive gotten chicken on it both times and I just assumed because of the description there would be garlic sauce on the white pizza. No. No and No. Only one out of 5 pizzas did they manage a thin crust. They added chicken every time to the Alfredo pizza and seemingly have forgotten the garlic on the white pizza. SMH. Come on guys. Your supposed to do Pizza right. I ordered the Turkey sandwich on white bread, No may and no mustard with extra lettuce. The sandwich came on a sesame roll without the extra lettuce ( which was from a bagged salad ). They obviously got the notes on my order because they did leave off the mustard and Mayo and just shows complete laziness towards everything else. We ordered a meatball sandwich that I can't comment on because it was for someone else. The medium white pizza with basil tasted like toast without butter and the cheese was like rubber. No garlic and the basil was dried basil. I don't understand why the cheese was so awful. I've never had this experience coming from the Pizza Factory. I do know though it wasn't because it was delivered. We usually pick up our pizza to bring home and never had the cheese been so rubbery. I also ordered a side dinner salad. Description says " the perfect size side salad " for $5.69. For who?? I think this is where the extra lettuce I requested for my sandwich went. All 3/4 a cup of lettuce with cheese, croutons, 1 grape tomato and slice of cucumber it measured in at 1 and 1/4 Cup of " perfect size side salad". Seriously folks next time, (just for laughs) if you get a chance, measure that amount out and then imagine paying $5.69 plus tax. Your right. It's not that funny. All in all I guess the Pizza Factory is the better option here in town and driving to another pizza location isn't convenient at all AND it's obvious the Pizza Factory knows it. So order if you'd like just be aware that it's a crapshoot on whether or not your food will be ok or amazing and if your ok with gambling your money away with hopes of having a great meal then this place is for you!! read more

This place smells fantastic as soon as you walk in!!!! I have not smelled a pizza parlor like this since I was a child and it brought back a piece of nostalgia for me. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. The staff members were young, but patient with me since this was the first time I had ever been here. I actually requested a specialty pizza, which they made with no complaints, or excuses. I don't even eat the crust, but this crust was amazing! You can tell that it was hand tossed and made with love. I also had the salad bar which had a wide range of options for me to choose from. When an order is botched up and then takes twice as long to deliver the product on a pick up order, any compensation returned should be returned immediately not credited to the next order. There won't be a next order. Very poor management skills. I will add that the food was well below par. $62 straight to the trash. First time trying the Pizza joint. Ordered an artichoke and Hawaiian pizza. The crust had great texture, crunchy yet soft. However, there's no special flavoring to the crust. The sauce is mediocre, tasted more like a can of tomato paste than a savory pizza sauce. My first thought was canned Ragu. The artichoke pizza was a joke. They gave slivers of leaves rather than artichoke hearts. A picture is attached, to show the absence of artichoke. The Hawaiian pizza was just ok. It had full sized ham with canned pineapple. I would recommend this place if you are too lazy cook dinner. Would not recommend it if you're looking for a savory place to enjoy Pizza. read more

Customer service is never that great. Either they are short and rude or just not very friendly. Pizza is never really that great. Have tired about 5 times in 3 years and it's gone down hill every time. Also disappointed there's no cauliflower option for those who choose pizza but are low carb. They also don't offer delivery service locally anymore (more then likely a lack of employee issue but still a negative to choosing a pizza place!) To the owners questions; yes it was the Phelan location. And if you offer it then your staff lied. Because we tried to order and they said they didn't have that. This was less than a year ago. Was a young girl we dealt with. I'm discussing your delivery service not Uber eats. We don't get delivery from there, we used to get it through you directly.
