They treat your situation as if it was their own and put your best interest as theirs. Rear ended by an uninsured motorist in my NEW BMW. Having questions about my cars structure, original finish, and fitment, I was hesitant to drop my car off at my insurance companies recommended shop who told me the paint pay not 100% match. (this is obviously not where I left it ) Thanks to the director of mile one body, and the entire team at this location, they explained that that would not be the case with them and that despite my insurance companies recommended drop off location they would work with the estimate, inspect my car, repair and not cut corners to benefit them or the insurance company. I must say Mile one auto dealerships have impressed me at every step of the customer point of view and satisfaction. I had Mile one Express repair my car and I am extremely grateful to everyone here starting from the president and Body shop directors at Mile One who emailed / called me. This place is not responsive and I suspect that they are trying to make money off of insurance companies. They view the insurance company as the client, and not the car owner. First of all, my car was in this place for two weeks and NOT ONCE did they call me. I would ask "when should I hear about the status of xyz?" and they would say "Probably Friday". Come Friday, radio silence. They broke some interior brackets, which is somewhat understandable, and told me that they would call me first thing on Monday. I call on Monday, only to find out that the person that was supposed to call me on Monday will be gone until Wednesday. It's been two weeks since my car was supposedly fixed and I'm still waiting for them to replace parts that they broke! Secondly, I brought my car in for the back passenger door to be replaced. There was no damage to the trunk. However, they still took apart the trunk (removed the spoiler, broke the brackets holding my cargo net). Also, they removed the roof rack. Why? I wouldn't really care because the insurance company is paying for it, but it seems shady. I definitely would NOT recommend taking your car here if you are paying out of pocket. Moral to the story, I just wanted my car to be repaired. They broke my cargo net brackets, which are not big or expensive parts, but it has been a HUGE hassle to have them order the replacement parts. This should have been easy for them to fix. read more

I said I didn't need it to be perfect, just make it look a little bit better because I couldn't afford a complete restore. One star because Yelp doesn't allow zero. I had my car repaired here after an accident about three years ago. They had good reviews so I didn't think twice about bringing my car in. Had almost 30k worth of repairs done. About a week ago, I got into a minor fender bender and needed to get my bumper replaced. Took it to a different shop as I had relocated. The manager of my shop called me to ask if I have had any work done to my vehicle prior. I said yes and he asked me to come into the office in person. Turns out, Mile One not only skipped multiple steps while putting my car back together, they used parts that were "left over" from other jobs!! I had 4 separate types of clips of different sizes holding my back bumper in place! Sensors in the front of my vehicle were TAPED into place while others were just left DANGLING! My front fog light was just shoved into the bumper with nothing holding it into place!!! Worst of all, the lip of my trunk lid was smashed together with DOUBLE SIDED TAPE! MORE TAPE!! $&@# The work was so shoddy that if I had gotten into another serious accident, I doubt I would have survived as my front and back bumpers were basically useless. My car recently suffered some minor damage to the rear bumper, and based on the suggestion by my dealer in Silver Spring, I ended up using the MileOne Collision repair facility in Beltsville. Overall my experience was a positive one. Coming from Virginia, the location of the facility was less than ideal for me; however, the shop is located only three miles from the Beltsville metro station, making it somewhat accessible by public transportation, if not going with a rental car option, which I did not require. The other downside of my repairs was that my car was in the shop over a week; however, given that it's a European sports car, I did not expect parts to be readily available. Neither of the above, however, reflected in any way in the quality of the work done on my car. During the repairs I received meaningful updates from Ron, my repair advisor at MileOne, clearly explaining each step of the process and what I should expect to happen next. And when it came to working with the insurance company, ordering the parts, and fixing the car itself, everything seemed to work out as Ron had indicated to me. When I retrieved my car, given the minimal nature of the damage, I expected the car to be in the same condition that it was prior to the accident, and I was pleasantly surprised that the car felt and looked like new. read more

My little car had to be towed here to repair extensive damage done by hitting a high curb. I got a call as soon as it arrived, the next day, and a few more times with updates. It was ready when promised and I couldn't be more pleased with the excellence of service and work done. Nissan must have an all out goal to excel because I have had the same level of great customer service, price, and repair at other Nissan locations (Silver Spring, MD and New River Nissan, VA). You don't have to have a Nissan to get the best service out there. Great job! read more

I took it to Mile One on a Monday and was told that it would be ready on the following Friday. I had to leave it over the weekend, when I called Monday the car wasn't ready. I asked several times to speak to a responsible person but they weren't at work at 10 am or they were in meetings. The front desk receptionist was unfriendly and uncooperative. On Tuesday I was told the car would be ready but when I arrived to pick it up the wheel alignment had not been done and was told that it would take several more hours. I finally just took the care and will have the alignment done elsewhere. bs read more

I can't speak to quality of work yet bc after 40 days, I still haven't gotten my car back, but I can speak to their extremely poor and rude customer service. As I said, I sent my car to be repaired 40 days ago. I've been given at least 3 dates of completion, today being the latest. This time last week, I was told my car would be ready but they found something else that needed to be fixed; my windshield. It's taken them an entire week to fix my windshield, which is ridiculous since there are services that will fix a windshield in a day. My car insurance will only cover 30 days for a rental car. As you can imagine, I can't go 10 days without a means of transportation. As I attempted to speak to someone at this shop, they kept talking over me, and when I asked if they could help with some of the extra charges I have to pay for a rental car since they took their sweet time fixing my car, they flat out refused and told me to go ahead and write a bad review. So here's the bad review. For any service-based business to be this rude, inconsiderate, and lackadasical is beyond unthinkable. It's even worse considering what I was asking for wasn't very much. If you have a choice, choose somewhere else. read more
