I've had my car washed here for years with generally satisfactory results. I needed to have the interior of a car done. I called ahead and was told to come on in. Once there I was told either they couldn't see me or I could leave it overnight. Very frustrating and an I could care less" attitude. They just lost a regular customer. read more

NO GO. This place is terrible! Their menu is confusing at the drive through, it goes backwards. I chose the M2... You are hurried to pick which option you want followed by the attendant barking off various extras you "might want" which should be included in the already ridiculous price...they're not. Next comes the wash that gets about 60% of the dirt off of your vehicle. Then the hand dry and window wash. I will say they got the windows shining clean... that's about it. I once-overed the car and there was dog hair and dirt still everywhere. Dirt on the floors, bird poop still on the roof, the car was still filthy. They reluctantly took it back through the wash which did almost nothing.. then the guy towel dried it... halfway... again.. I complained to the manager, or at least the guy who claimed to be one, who gave me a coupon for $33... not the $39 I paid when all was said and done. Why would I want a coupon for another terrible car wash???? He even said "Well, sir, we have so many people through here we miss stuff sometimes" WTF.. That's what people get fired over at other places... Go to Auto-Wash on Charlotte or Shur-Brite off of Music Row.. it's worth the drive. Most of the guys working there are felons or hard-to-find work type employees.. they do an excellent job (they actually care or at least are afraid of their managers enough to pretend well), not some asshat teenager that lives in Brentwood who cares more about his Instagram notifications than his job. Horrible, horrible, horrible service! Went here yesterday to drop off my car for a full detail ($225 starting point). I clearly expected to pay more as I do have a few stains in the driver side matt--- but this was crazy. I get there to drop off my car at 830--appt was at 9, however when I made the appt the guy was super nice, says drop off anytime. Guy tells me we will do a thorough inspection of the car with you and let you know bottom line cost before you leave. Says they will do a ticket with details. Said ok... Not a problem. Here's how the experience goes down--I go in and let the lady at the coffee bar know I am here for a detail. I fill out the paperwork and she goes to get "Zach"... 15 mins later this kid Zach comes out, still chewing his breakfast and says, "I was having problems clocking in". As he chews in my face.. We proceed outside, as he slurps his McDonalds drink he says, "wow, you smell great... What do you have on, I really like that perfume". ( I mean really... I am in workout clothes and just came from the gym.) We get to the car and he glances at the outside of my car and says, it'll be $350. Before he even looks inside--- he then opens the door and says, "to get the smoke smell out you gotta pay!" Now, to start off with--I Do Not Smoke!!!!! I do not allow anyone in my car to smoke, this car is/was used to go to and from work and to escort customers. Smoke, Really! Besides that this is my baby-- a sweet FX 35 that I don't thrash, ever! To be clear, I would have paid any amount as I wanted to get my car cleaned as I have only driven it 5 or 6 times in the last year. I plan on selling my car this weekend--so a nice detailing would get me more $$ for the car. He then proceeds to slam his co-workers as "they don't know what their doing or saying when they make appointments. They quote whatever to get you in the door--" I told the kid I was done-- for his lack of team support. Told him, he should never throw another co-worker under the bus and if they are doing something wrong, tell your manager. He gave me a dumbfounded look and said, "I can't help they don't know what they are doing in there when people call to get a detail." I, again, was floored at how he was slamming others--when clearly, I am telling him it is him that is wrong here. I will never refer this place or go back here! read more

Just a quick response to the Miles comment. No surprise..couldn't resist another chance to blame everyone else including Yelp...classy. But in fairness to your customer, Yelp is not about "likes," it's about reviews and if you're a customer service business and can't break 4 let alone 3 stars (meaning nobody wants to give you positive love) then we both know you have a problem. Now you're going to blame Yelp??? Wow. That's a new one. Look at the other businesses on Yelp. If you're under 3.0 with 100 plus reviews...you need to be accountable. Where are your 1 million customers who should be giving you 4 or 5 stars -- I'm sure they've never heard of the Internet? So again...You would think Miles would look at their reviews and realize they have some problems. Recently, our car was hit in their automated wash and they blamed us for not following instructions. They did so rudely and while screaming at one another in front of their customers. Then they self righteously said its not their fault even though by their own admission it's happened before and they control the machine. No safety controls, no liability because they "say so" and apparently it's the customer's problem if things go wrong. Nice. The reason they are crowded is that no one else competes with them because overhead in the area is so high. But I love the self-righteous review that says Miles is fantastic and you get what you pay for...ok, uh, this place is silly expensive...customers should expect high quality and great customer service for any level of service. If you disagree don't suggest we are all too dim to understand the concept of "getting what you pay for." This is not the establishment to make that case. All in all, surprisingly mediocre cleaning service and wretched customer service with a ridiculous wait to boot. Go online and find a mobile service. No wait and they do a much better job because they get by on word of mouth and reputation not based on exclusivity and a high rent address. read more

My wife had an awful time getting her Miles express to work. To be honest the new car wash at Royal Oaks is new and having "lots" of problems. Hats off to Adrain, he from way across the lot to assist my wife. It's the employees like Adrain that keeps us paying monthly for marginally adequate car washes. It's about people!!! read more

So I decided to give this place a genuine try to see how good they really are. Needless to say, while they did a decent job, it was not worth the $35 I paid. I could have gotten just as good a wash at Whitebridge Autowash for $10 less. I don't expect them, for what I paid, to get the dent out of my bumper or reapply the paint on it. However, I do expect them not to miss an obvious spot on my windshield, to clean the mud off the door-sills and to do a very thorough job vacuuming the interior. Really, go elsewhere as they seriously overcharge for the average service they do provide, and to miss obvious spots is inexcusable. I'm a student, so I can't afford to get my car washed as often as I would like, let alone the really good washes. As such I want to get the most for my money, which clearly Miles does not provide as they rather nickel and dime the customer anyway. Important Quality Update! It has been less than a week since I got my car washed at Miles and left the above review. I am not returning to Miles unless they really turn themselves around. Last night, with all the cold and moisture in the air, I had to defrost my front windshield on the drive home. To my shock before the defroster kicked in, I saw large smears all over the windshield where they had cleaned it. Forget the two spots they missed, I could have done a better job myself!!! I will not be returning any time soon. I now wish I could give them zero stars. read more

Took the newest car in the fleet to get the Mac daddy detail -- the $189 (on their website) job. Called ahead and made an appointment. First off, when I dropped the car off at 8AM I was surprised to find that both interior and exterior were $250. I understood the statement as to why, but I guess that I'm a little surprised that the website wasn't any clearer. The technician called about noon to say that the car was "almost ready" and that I could come anytime to pick it up. Dropped by at 1pm and was surprised to see the car still unfinished, and, frankly, not even 100% clean. Bugs, etc. still on the outside, portions of the car not even well vacuumed. Pointed this out, and the tech scratched his head and offered, "Well, there's only so much we can do..." The owner followed up personally on the complaint and promised that it would be fixed. He asked for two hours to complete the job the right way. When we dropped by four hours later (5pm), they were still finishing the car. Don't know why, but again, I was surprised and it took another 20-25 minutes of waiting to get it done. After a few picky little items, I took the car, paid and left. For the detail, I'll give five stars. For the run-around, I give two stars. Three is what they get in total (would give 3.5). As others have said, the facility is great and I'd go there again, but perhaps not for detail. read more

So I have been waiting for 1 hour and 2 minutes currently to get my car washed. I got the basic M1 package which is a basic clean of the interior and exterior. I have watched several people who have come in after me get their cars and I am still waiting. When I asked an employee what is going on she went outside to check and came back with there was a mix up and your car needs 10 more minutes and did not offer a free wash or a drink or anything. I brought my SUV to the location on Royal Oaks Blvd. after returning home I noticed it hardly touched the back of my car. I did notice it was pushing me through faster then most car washes. I returned and spoke to the manager. He said he would let me run it through again. Well the outcome was the same result. When I told him about it missing the back of my car he pulled up the video of my car when the brushes hit the back of my car ( maybe 1 second) and said it just doesn't get all of some SUV's. So that being said if you drive a Lexus SUV save your money and don't go here. Mapco on Moores Lane in Brentwood does a way better job for less money. read more

If you want to spoil your car and give it a luxurious interior and exterior cleaning, this place is where it's at. I loved going to a place like this in the Midwest, and having moved to Nashville, I found that many people in the South wash their cars by hand rather than at a gas station car wash. So I was on the lookout last year after I got a new car last October, for a place where my car could get pampered once a month (and maybe me too). I simply love the place and love the fact they have a juice bar that offers coffee, pop, and alcohol. And while you wait, they have a nice seating area with a large screen television. Or if you'd like there's a computer station where you can check email (or Facebook) while you wait. And for the ladies out there, there's a small shop with various clothing and accessories with some greeting cards too. They have done an awesome job with the car washes, and I always do a round-the-car inspection before I drive-off and each time, they've done a perfect job. For most people who complain about service at a carwash , lets first take a look at your car both inside and out. you say the interior wasn't cleaned and that there is still stuff left in the nooks and crannies and the cup holders. well chances are you paid for the bottom of the line wash / the minimum and the guys on the front line cant get to those areas or you have a years worth of soda or coffee built up in your cup holders. That is what express detail and full details are for. You say your wheels didn't come clean or no tire shine on your tires, well if you have a wheel that has 2 years of brake dust and grime built up on it a simple wash with wheel cleaner is not going to do it, or if you have dry rotted tires then tire shine is going to absorb right in no matter how much you put on there. I know we are a nation of ( reviews ) , but before you go and write a bad review please consider what your writing, you say the steak was bad when you ordered a $2.00 steak , well yea its bad. You say the service was bad, consider what is bad to you verses what is bad to others , your standards may be higher than what is offered. These guys who run , work , sale, detail and maintain a carwash do it for the joy of doing it and when you write a review that you clearly know is false , it can cost someone there job, all because you were just a little bit unhappy that you didn't get what you clearly didn't pay for. read more

I'm generally a do-it-yourself kinda gal - especially when it comes to washing my truck. I like the sense of accomplishment! But when it comes to spilled half-and-half in the floorboard of my husband's truck, I opted to take it to someone how has better tools to handle the job. And let me tell you, I chose the right place! I barely made it in the door when I was greeted politely by a staff member. Not only was he helpful in finding a solution to the 5-day old milk on the floorboards, but he was informative. Then the service member whisked away my husband's truck and was back in a jiffy (but not so quick so I know he actually did some work). Plus this place has a little boutique inside so you can browse great gifts while you are waiting on your car. They also have a coffee bar with BEER and WINE! And free Wi-Fi. We are selling a car in the spring - and I'll be taking it back here to get the whole dealio done - engine block cleaned, buffed, waxed, crevices squeaky clean. In the meantime, I might be spending my lunch hours at Miles!! read more

I bought a gift card for an exterior/interior detail for my father for Christmas, and the exterior looked hardly washed. We overlooked this because the interior looked fine. A day after, we checked it again once the seats had dried, and it looked like it had never been washed. We took the vehicle back to the store for a refund/redo and they told us that they did it twice and that it would take two hours to do it again. We simply asked for a refund, and we will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Ok, so I just took my VW in for service at Hallmark Volkswagen and thought I'd give her a treat and I took her to Miles Auto Spa. I am completely amazed. My car is only 2 years old and now it looks Brand New!!!!. It is so worth the money and the wait. Your patience will be rewarded and your car will love you for it. Very disappointing service. The past two times that I have been there I have not been pleased at all. Without a doubt the facilities are great and there are nice chairs, TV and a coffee bar, however that is not why I go there. I go there to get my vehicles cleaned. The time before last I was there a got an approx $60.00 deal to get my car detailed. I was taken out to the car looked good. Hopped in and went to my office. I walk around the car on the way into my office and the passenger doors were filthy and were not cleaned. I decided this had to be a one off situation and perhaps someone overlooked something. This past weekend I went there first thing in the morning at approx 0630. I had a vehicle that I as about to trade in. I got a full deal to clean the inside and to spend extra time on the outside. I leave and go straight to the dealer and the inside of the car was filthy was vacuumed and the windows weren't smeared. If I had paid $10.00 or even $20.00 I would not complain, however when I am paying $60.00 I want a decent job to be done. read more

I stopped in here because Miles offered what I was looking for (interior/exterior cleaning) for not a lot of money. For $23 I got my car washed, vacuumed, surfaces wiped down, windows cleaned, and tires cleaned. The tires were an extra $3 to the $20 interior/exterior package. The quality is pretty good. It doesn't look like I got a full detail package but I paid $23 for the interior, I wasn't expecting that. I did take note of the complaints from my fellow yelpers and I inspected my car before I left. My tires were super clean. They didn't roll down my windows and clean that line of dirt at the top. However, upon request they did fix this. They advertised wait time for the package I got is 20 minutes. When I arrived they said it would take about 40 minutes. I waited in what I can only describe as money making genius. What do people who have to sit around for 40 minutes want to do? Drink coffee, alcohol, nibble on snacks, go shopping, play on their laptops... You can do all of those things. There is a coffee bar that sells coffee and non-coffee drinks as well as an array on munchies. There is a little shop space that sells clothes and knick-kacks. There was a variety of seating options, including a bar area that had electrical plug-ins. I read my book and was happy as a clam. read more

First and foremost, the place is quite nice and roomy. Lots of distractions, because more time than not, you're going to wait for your car. That's a +/- depending on your properly set expectations. That aside, I've seen MUCH better interior attention from just about any other carwash I've used around the country. I'm guessing most has to do w/ the way they deal with tips. Tips are distributed, vs you tipping the person caring for your car directly. Sure, they should detail each to an equal standard, but this is real life we live in, and that's not how it will go down...ever. So I just get the M1 and do the interior myself at home. That being said, THIS IS MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT AND CONCERN! THEY DO NOT USE SEPARATE RAGS for different parts of your car. There's a big sign right and above the TV in the main lounge that describes the color and purpose of each rag...that is LONG outdate. They use red and black only, and while I've not yet seen them use black (for tires) used on any other part of the car, they do use the red and use it for both OUTSIDE AND INSIDE surfaces. Every. Single. Time. and Since I have an unlimited package, I go likely more often than most and can see them do it multiple times/week, so it's just not an isolated incident. If you are REALLY REALLY picky on what touches the surface of your car, take this into consideration...they use 2 rags; 1 does tires, 1 does literally everything else. If my car wasn't a lease, I would just do it myself at home for free...but alas, it's cheaper to go this route, than pay for excess wear/tear of a returned lease vehicle, and I just write-off the carwash as a business expense. read more

Walking past Michael's car, we see the supervisor going through the car manual. When I asked Heather Roaden, the manager why her people are going through the manual and talking to a young man working on the quarter panel. Her reply is that she's inside and doesn't know. She thinks they were looking for a number to call us because the car is finished; it wasn't finished. When she investigates, she's told the supervisor was checking the work and the glove box came open. He was putting everything back. Fair warning, they search your car here and management is NOT dealing with it. p.s. When we got the car back, Michael' s sunglasses were broken. I went back to Heather. She offers to refund the entire price. I go out to get the receipt and am greeted by another man who, with Heather, tells me the glasses were broken when the car came in; not true, Michael wore the glasses to the shop and when they were found broken in the car, they had been moved. I asked the new gentleman who he is. He is Antonio, the GM. He now relates the young man is his son, who didn't know what kind of car it was and the Supervisor was looking through the manual to identity the car. So, they search your car, lie about it multiple times and nothing happens. I did get a full refund and a gift card. read more

What a joke. Go for a latte, women's clothes, garage storage, or the other random things they're selling while they wash your car. But do not go for the car wash. Terrible job and over priced even if they would have done a good job. Paid extra to have the floor mats cleaned as the attendant recommended and they look like they weren't touched. The dash still had the light layer of dust on it from a couple weeks so clearly it wasn't touched either. They partially cleaned the windshield which I would have rather them leave alone if they're not going to completely clean it. I could go on and on. My wash was 45 bucks. I took my vehicle in to be cleaned. I explained I wanted the interior detailed and cleaned extremely well. They talked me into purchasing the $70 interior detail plus $45 to condition and clean my leather seats. Well, you can see from the pics they didn't even vacuum the floorboards or seats well. They left the cup holders disgusting. Basically, this a typical $20 interior clean job anywhere else. Don't use this place. Don't waste your money on this overly expensive rip-off. read more

Unfortunately the Miles locations have gone down the past two years. Especially the one on Mallory Station. They used to take their time and pre-spray your vehicle. Taking their time, getting all the bugs off and getting in the wheel wells. They used to prewash BOTH sides of your vehicle. Not anymore. Now, you pull around and have to wait for someone to show up and they just wave the sprayer on one side. Just a quick wave and off you go! Even when they are not busy. Even when I am the only customer. Plus my car is always soapy when I pull out. It leaves a film when it dries. I have been a member for a few years because I like the convenience of prepaying. Plus they used to do a great job. I'm re-thinking it now. No longer the value it used to be. read more

I was told the car wash would take 40 minutes on the long side. An hour and 15 minutes later I am leaving the car wash after spending the last 20 minutes having to point out what they did not get clean for the previous hour. I don't know how they stay in business. If I didn't have so many points accumulated I would never walk back in the door. Never, never again after I use the points up. You could go to the auto parts store and buy everything you need to wash and wax your car, go home wash it, dry it, wax it, and vacuum it faster than you can get it done at this car wash. read more

First time there, so I wasn't entirely sure of how things were supposed to be done; I just knew that I needed to get the crud off the roof of my car and it seemed like the place to go. I pulled in and told the guy that greeted me what I needed and he told me how much it'd cost and I agreed and gave him my keys and he put a receipt on my dash and said they'll be done in 45 minutes. My car gets cleaned and my name was called to check on my car and pay. Car looked good. I went to pay, and the cashier said it was double the price that I was quoted. I (politely) disputed it, and they comped the extra charges and let me pay what I was previously quoted which was sweet of them. I'm giving an extra star because my car is super clean now. Really just writing this review to let whoever stole every bit of change out of my console that they can keep it. They obviously need it more than I do. read more

Poor customer service, horrible experience. I called to make an appointment for two vehicles, one a full service detail and the other to have a clear bra installed on my brand new car. Talking to Tony on the phone, I told him I was driving across town for the appointment and would like to have both vehicles done at the same time. He said it shouldn't be a problem and he'll mark down the appointments and call me back to verify. No phone call, and I assumed all was good. I call back 4 days later (3 days before my appointment) and Tony apologizes, said he had a family emergency and someone should have called me back - they can't install my clear bra. This was fine, life happens. I scheduled an appointment for 9 days later, wanting the clear bra installed before a road trip. I took a half day of vacation from work to make sure it could get done (service not offered on Saturdays and Sundays were booked). I get a phone call 90 minutes before my appointment and I'm told the installer had a family emergency and had to cancel, but they would do whatever it took to fit me into their schedule. I was irritated but some things can't be helped, life happens. I make an appointment for 5 days later, on a Thursday morning. I tell Tony that I will come in at 6a.m. if I have to, I just need to be on the road by noon (again, road trip). He calls me back after checking the schedule and tells me to be there by 9am so I can be out by noon. I arrive for the appointment and hand the keys over. It sits outside for an hour before it's finally taken for the clear bra installation at 10am. Apparently they don't do the clear bra install on-site and had to drive my car to... I don't know where. Would have been nice to know they would be driving my car around town. Car was finished at 12:30. Not exactly "on the road before noon" -- very frustrating read more

I have given Miles several chances to get it right. They just can't seem to. Shocking given the pricing. Last visit (mid-afternoon on a weekday) I was told that my basic interior/exterior ($35) would be 45-60 minute wait. I agreed. After 70 minutes, my car had been washed, but had not been touched as far as the interior is concerned. After 80 minutes, they were just starting to do the interior. I asked for the manager. I told them I was 1 hr. and 20 minutes in and the vehicle was still not close to ready. Other cars that came in after me, had already left! He told me they would finish my car, and refund my money. I never even got an apology from him. An hour and a half for a car wash? On a non-busy weekday? I could have gotten it mini-detailed at other places in that amount of time. Then I got in the car, backs of the seat still had mud on them from my kids feet among other concerns. The interior work was average at best. That might be generous. They clearly have a staffing issue. I'm done with them. Why does this area not have a good car wash?! Seriously, I have tried them all, there aren't any. read more

This place has gone downhill. I am an unlimited member but am thinking about canceling. The workers that are supposed to prewash your car just don't care at the Royal Oaks location. They'll squirt the front and barely touch the back just to say they did it but they will not take any time to actually clean your car. I have also noticed several times that some of the elements in the car wash weren't working. read more

Went to have a full detail of my car. Anticipating a 4 hour wait, it was completed in roughly 2 1/2 hours, even though it was really busy! The waiting area is small, but nice and accommodating for anyone who has to stay for any length of time. Staff was kind and courteous. My car was very clean, as if I just bought it brand new.
