It was an extremely hot evening, and I was running two portable A/C units to keep my kids' rooms cool. Unfortunately, both units were on the same circuit, which caused the breaker to trip. When I went to reset it, I couldn't get the power restored. I called Milestone and spoke with Brian. From the start, it was clear that he genuinely wanted to help me identify and resolve the issue. After he requested that I text photos of the breaker panel, the problem was diagnosed. Power was restored, and my kids were able to sleep comfortably in cool rooms. I cannot say enough about Milestone's incredible customer service, and quality of work. We had a brand new oven in a brand new home that blew out the first time we used it. Unfortunately no longer under warranty. After 6 visits from a good but very frustrated oven repair company we decided perhaps the problem was electrical and not the oven itself. We called Milestone and Wyatt the actual owner sent Matt out to check it out and it was faulty wiring from the appliance company that installed it, to the point it could have been very dangerous. Matt quickly discovered the problem and came back within a day with the parts to fix it. Matt knows his stuff. I would not hesitate calling Milestone. And please, I noticed some of these reviews are not for Milestone here in the Seattle area. A shame people write bad reviews for the wrong company. My 75 yr parents had Milestone come out to their house due to the AC not working in their home they are moving in to. They sent a service tech out to check it out, and he said that reason why was due to the fact two or three of the AC ducts were disconnected. A few days prior my mother had a crew come clean the ducts, so it made sense that the other crew did a sloppy job. Milestones tech reattached the vents and told them it was good to go.. and charged them $1000! As if that wasn't bad enough the AC still did not work! My father had them send someone back out and this time the next guy said that the reason why it wasn't working still was due to the fact that none of the AC compressors had the plunger in the disconnect boxes, and that one of the disconnects was not even attached to the wall!!! Now, how the previous tech not only missed it and told my 75 yr old parents it was good to go, and had the nerve to charge $1000 ABSOLUTELY BLOWS MY MIND!!! AND ON TOP OF THIS... the next tech told my parents it will be $1000 more to reattached THE SAME DISCONNECT to the wall!!!!! Literally 4 tapcons that may cost $5 or less... I AM A MASTER ELECTRICIAN.. THIS IS ROBBERY!! NO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!!!! I called before making this post to speak with a manager to try and work this out privately, but was put on hold 13 minutes the first time and 5 minutes the second time... I never got a manager. Instead, he did not respond or come out to the home, wasted my time, and let over a week pass when I could have hired someone else. This is very poor ethics, disrespectful, and not worth his salt. I'm writing this review now, even though Milestone did the work like about 4 years ago since i just joined yelp reviews and want to give them their due credit. I honestly had a excellent experience with them when they came to upgrade and install a new circuit breaker box in my home. I had no issues or problems with them, they were great guys, (Bryan, Mike, and a third who i don't remember his name). The price they charged to do all the work was very reasonable and fair, and i would not hesitate to use them again. I *really* wanted to hire these guys based on the reviews on this site. However, I scheduled time with an estimate from them almost a month in advance. I took off work and paid for a taxi ride home to wait for them to arrive and they didn't show up. I called and called but no one picked up the phone or responded. 3 days later, they respond and say Oops they forgot to call me. I swallow my pride and ask if they can schedule me again and they said they're not even taking clients at this time. My project was a full rewire that may have totaled at least 10k and it was a colossal waste of my time waiting for these guys. read more

You know what I like about these guys? They don't laugh at your little projects. I recently called Milestone to ask about getting a wall mounted TV wired up. The TV works fine, but the power cord and cable stuff hanging down the wall looked like hell. Bryan showed up, ran a wire up the inside of the wall, installed a new outlet, then crawled up into the overhead of the house to run the TV cable. A nice neat installation. read more

I called Brian after a friend of mine had recommended him...he had done a great job I was told. I needed two ceiling fans with lights and a switch...he said "no problem"...when would you like them installed...I said it'll have to be on a weekend because I'm out of town so frequently for work...he said "no problem" We agreed on date and time and to my great satisfaction...Brian and Wyatt were on time and completed the job in three hours !! Now this would have been faster if the fans were assembled before they had arrived. The guys did an excellent job...they were clean...on time...and the price was very reasonable. I found Milestone via Yelp. I met Wyatt Dibley & crew this Spring during a medium remodel. We has a bunch of random electrical needs to address. I found them to be friendly, bright, creative and effective. They are young and enthusiastic. They get turned on by doing the work fast and efficiently. For instance, I was told by another electrician that a particular task would take two hours. With that in mind, I asked Wyatt how long it would take. "Probably 20 minutes or so." 10 minutes later the task was completed and they had moved on to the next. Only tiny gripe is that along with all that youthful enthusiasm they have a bit of youthful forgetfulness. But in the few instances where something was forgotten, they take care of it at no expense. I'm sure given several more months they will get straightened out. That said, we would definitely use them again. read more

Pretty much super awesome. They were very friendly and since we are overly curious, we asked tons of questions to which they excitedly answered. Not a single complaint. We had to have our circuit breaker box/panel replaced. Wyatt and TJ did a good job and got to our house on time. They were here from about 9:30 to 3:30. The work was estimated to take around 4-6 hours, but this old house had some issues to work around/fix (plus we were probably a little distracting.) Wyatt was also very helpful about giving us some hints about some other projects we are doing on our own. Milestone Electric is also way more affordable than another place we had come do an estimate. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs an electrician. Really glad we found them. read more

Unfortunately I'm not reviewing the actual work of Milestone, but instead how they run the business. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate over three weeks in advance. The day of the appointment nobody showed up, called me, or even answered the phone when I called them. This was very disappointing, especially since I had taken the afternoon off for this appointment. Although the previous reviews indicate they do good work, the lack of communication and follow through has sent me elsewhere looking for an electrician. read more

These guys are great. I needed an outlet fixed and was hoping to have one installed nearby. Well, little did I know that the people who remodeled my house before I bought it had made it impossible for power to be run to the outlet that wasn't working, or at least not without deconstructing the wall. But the guys from Milestone came and gave it their best shot, were punctual, careful, well-prepared and skilled. But despite their best efforts they couldn't fix it. So, to my surprise, they didn't charge me at all for their time. I was grateful and am now determined that the next time I need ANY kind of electrical work, I'll be calling them! And so should you. USE THIS BUSINESS! I called emailed Milestone Electric with a request to add some lighting to my house. Wyatt called me back the same day and offered to come look at the project the following business day to provide me a quote! He showed up promptly at the scheduled time and was informative and responsive. He offered to come back the following day to actually do the work but I wanted a day to go shopping to buy the ceiling lights I wanted installed. Really nice that I was able to schedule my appointment for the work to actually be done just on the following day. I couldn't decide between the type of lighting I wanted to add and at the last minute changed my mind from what I had originally decided upon. I called Wyatt and he was completely understanding and happy change his game plan for the following day, which even meant him providing a few things instead of me. On the day of the appointment, he and his business partner showed up on time and went straight to work. They took the time to measure out exactly where things should be and consulted with me as to the placement before drilling any holes. They finished the job in less time than they had quoted, used tarps to protect everything in each of the rooms, and left the house impeccable! If I ever need electrical help again, I will be back! Very, very, very good work. I hired Milestone to do a complete rewire of my newly-purchased-yet-quite-old two-story-with-basement house in Seattle. The existing wiring was horrid: modern wire connected with aging electrical tape to knob-and-tube, bare circuits everywhere, the basement had more wire junctions than a whole fleet of rail yards, a split-bus breaker panel with labels from the 1960s, virtually every outlet wired backwards, and an average of one outlet per room. All of this is to give context to what Wyatt and his crew were agreeing to "fix," insofar as a pile of dynamite "fixes" a decrepit bridge. These guys did an amazing job. Every circuit in my house was replaced and brought up to code, none of the old wiring is still in use. They upgraded my panel to a new 200A main breaker panel, added outlets everywhere, wired in new lights in closets and outside, put in new plugs for things like a dryer and a toaster oven, replaced electric baseboards, installed a bathroom fan, and ran Ethernet and television cable to several rooms. Even the basement has actual lights and several power sockets. Everything looks neat and well put together. Some wiring, at my request to save holes and money, is in exterior conduit that looks like it was definitely done by someone who knows what they are doing and who gives a darn about appearances. If my basement wasn't otherwise in sad shape, I'd post pictures since the wiring down there is just short of a work of art. The final capstone is that the major works passed inspection the first time. Wyatt was communicative and easy to deal with while it was going on. What should have made enough holes to turn my walls into Swiss cheese instead needed only 9 cuts for everything to be done. Yes, it did take longer than the original time estimate. Five days turned into nine and a half but I believe this was due to the monumental task these folks ran into. All of this was done for a very good price, especially relative to the "big, experienced" contractors who came out for estimates, and didn't go up as the job took longer. I'd say that I'll be calling Milestone Electric for my future needs but their work was so good, I imagine that nothing will break where I need their help. (Technical details for those who want to know: Standard Seattle City Light 200A split-phase residential service with existing modern electrical meter box and 2.5" conduit to underground utilities. Panel replaced with 200A single-throw main Square-D Homelite 30-position panel, 7 slots remain open after rewire. 9 20A circuits to all power sockets. 3 20A 220V circuits for baseboard heat. 1 bridged-breaker 15A-times-two circuits for disposal and dishwasher in same outlet box. 6 15A circuits for lighting. 1 30A 220V circuit for dryer. No additional high-load circuits for an air conditioner, hot tub, or large bathroom items like a jetted spa were needed.) read more

While installing the thermostats, he came up with a solution for the pendant lamp that didn't even require him to come back again. So he was after doing great business rather than the money. Wonderful Guys! First- time home buyer of an old house and doing some minor reno one a part of the house.
