The atmosphere was iffy, the mood is really nice but the music was way too quiet so it just kinda added to the general noise in the restaurant. The food.. Just terrible. We should have known when it took 5 minutes standing at the front of a dead restaurant to even get seated that the service would suck. Our server was like molasses. A table seated after us had their dinner before us. My meal was brutal. Over salted, way over cooked and quite honestly with Milestones being a chain there really isn't much excuse for any of this. Only reason I'm giving any stars is because my water glass stayed nice and full. Waited an hour for our meal. An hour. Bill times should never run an hour. Ugh. read more

Went to this location for the first time today and was so disappointed. Ordered the coconut calamari as a starter and there were literally 6 pinkie finger sized pieces of calamari on about 1-1/2 cups of those white "styrofoam" type noodles. I asked our waitress the cost of a scotch that was on display in the bar and she didn't know the price but said she would find out. She never did and forgot all about it. Ordered three entrees and it took over 30 minutes to receive them and this was not during a very busy time. When I commented to the waitress that it "took forever", she had no reply - completely ignored me. Not once during our meal did our waitress ask how anything was. My daughter asked the waitress for a glass of water and she never came back with it. My daughter had to get up and go get one herself as her mouth was on fire from the spice in the chilli chicken rice bowl she ordered. The food was fine but the frustrating and poor service resulted in me not leaving a tip which I have only ever done one other time in my history as a restaurant patron. read more

We like Milestones, but just not this one. We've tried it on three separate occasions and had the same disappointing experience. The staff all seem very inexperienced and lacking in direction on how to do their jobs properly. It would appear that there is a management problem with this location and with those who oversee it. Lots of specifics including the following: running out of menu and garnish items. Salads prepared without dressing, pasta cooked in lumps, wine brought to the table without glasses, entrees delivered without cutlery, food falling out of presentation but delivered anyway with an apology, hostess who stand watching guests struggle with the front door, dirty tables everywhere with staff standing around. The list goes on and on. The menu isn't cheap and there are lots of better ways to spend your dining dollar nearby. Sorry milestones- great location but you blew it here. read more

We got to the bar at 930. The hostess gladly seated us and we had the Girls Night out deal...$40 for 4 Belinis & 4 applies. Good food options! Our server Drew was great At 11pm we were the last table We asked to see the dessert menu and he was glad to give it to us... We then asked what time they closed and he said "10" We skipped the dessert and thanked him for not pressuring is out He kept saying "it's ok, I have over an hour of cleaning up to do" Overall the meal was a great deal and the great service was a huge thumbs up! We went for lunch today and really enjoyed the service and food; we would rate it 4.5 stars. Jordan, our server, was sincere, friendly and professional. My husband enjoyed his chicken club and Caesar salad and I LOVED the beet goat cheese salad - the best salad I've had in a long time! We were happy that an old gift card was accepted. The only thing that would've made it five stars would've been a window table instead of the dark corner by the kitchen. Compliments to Jordan and the chef who made the amazing salad! I was in town for appointments with surgeons, and without this milestones in particular, it would have been an absolutely terrible trip. The service was fantastic, and after the first time their, two waitresses and the host knew my name, and showed an interest in me personally. On top of that, the food was fantastic. On a Friday night, despite having an incredibly busy night, the food was quick and delicious. The only reason I'll be coming back to this area of Vancouver would be this milestones. read more

I'm stumped at the so-so reviews for this place. It's our go-to place for our girls weekly get together. The food is consistently awesome and the other Milestones in the lower mainland don't hold a candle to this location. Service is always great as well with very friendly, personable wait staff. The view of the mountains to the north is wonderful. Only issue we have is with the wait times for food coming from the kitchen, which are a bit long, no matter if the restaurant seems busy or not. We were discussing this today at our table and all agreed that we are willing to wait because the food is always excellent! I would definitely give it five stars if the food wait times were improved. I'm honestly not too sure where to start because the entire experience was abysmal. We were seated quite quickly, but that would be the only highlight of our experience. Our server, Henry, was THE worst server I've ever had. The restaurant was pretty slow; but he would choose to prioritize chatting with co-workers over giving any form of customer service to any of his tables. We waited about 10 minutes for him to take our drink order, and another 25 minutes after that for him to take our order. He would just disappear for long periods of time, and re-appear chewing or gossiping with other staff. After finishing our meal, we waited another long period of time to pay, and he was just standing around doing nothing, eventually sending the host over because I'm sure he could sense our unhappiness. The food is also lacklustre and over priced. Overall, this is a place I'd skip. Not worth it. read more

I went here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon with two girlfriends. There was plenty to choose from and our food came out very quickly. Our server wasn't around very much. I ordered the spinach and feta egg white omelette which was good. The breakfast potatoes were too burnt and greasy for my taste. Went there for dinner recently and it was a wonderful experience. Every need was filled. First they had quite a wait so we went for a walk and they texted us when our table was ready. The wait time went by very quickly. Then when seated I didn't like the table and asked for another. They were full and could not help us, only to come back a minute later to tell us they found a way. The waitress was well informed about my partners and my special dietary needs. They did everything to accommodate us. The food was delicious but portion sizes were small. Went here last night for the 2 for $50 deal. So good! We ordered the Asian Chicken Bites for an appy... we get this every time we come, So good! My wife had the Steak Frites and I had the Orange Basil Salmon. Both were amazing... their mashed potatoes are on par with the Keg's (Our measuring stick for good mash). I wanted to try some of their special Canada Day 150 dishes so I took the family. We had the lobster corn dogs, the smoked meat poutine,the wobbly chicken, the Brie burger, California burger, and the portobello mushroom chicken. The corn dogs were ok - the batter overwhelmed the lobster. The poutine was good ... not sure if the smoked meat really added much, but waffle cut fries are awesome. As expected, the burgers are top notch. They rank pretty high on my favourite burger list. Think it is the beef that really makes them. The portobello mushroom chicken is by far the star and a must have whenever we go. The surprise of the meal was the wobbly chicken - half of a chicken! With asparagus, potatoes, and onion strings, the plate was full. I like value and they delivered with this dish. The chicken was moist but I thought the sauce was just ok ... what was on the skin was a bit too weak in flavour and the small side sauce they provide was a bit too strong. This location used to be good but as of lately it has been horrible. Most recent visit had such a lack of customer service that we weren't even sure who our server was. Took nearly 40 minutes for refills and our meals all came out at separate times. My sons meal was over cooked and hard. We asked to speak with a manager who didn't really say much, later on a second manager came out who said they would take care of the burgers and kids meal. He later returned to say that they would only take of care of the kids meal. How a manager can comp meals and then just take it back is beyond me. On top of everything they forgot the desserts in the to go bag (luckily we checked before leaving) and then mixed up the bills. We obviously did not leave a tip and the server promptly walked away without a word after taking our payment. Won't be going back to this location again! read more

Came here for my mom's birthday and was extremely disappointed. The menu has changed for the worse over the years as I remember thoroughly enjoying the food in the past. I ordered a Moscow Mule to drink and OMG it was not good. My thought is that they tried making it too fancy which was it's major downfall. They used what tasted like candied ginger which made it way too over powering. I took one sip and that was it. My mom ordered the crab legs with potato salad. Note to Management: if you're going to serve carb legs on your menu then you need to have the proper tools to provide your guests in order to eat it. There was no cracker or small fork provided. When we asked the server for the utensils she came back with a small spoon and said, 'sorry, I guess we need to order some of those things.' Uh, you think!? My mom had a hard time getting any of the crab meat out. It made me upset seeing how this was her birthday lunch and I suggested going to this place. I felt really bad for her. I ordered the chicken fingers for my son. The fries came out a dark brown colour as though the oil was really old or they over cooked them. You'd think the cook, expediter or server would have noticed that and remade them. No. I had a crispy chicken sandwich that had no flavour and was just blah. I would never recommend this place to anyone and don't understand how they are a successful chain restaurant. Never again. Ever. read more

So disappointed that the spicy Thai chicken drummets have been taken off the menu. That was by far the best appetizer milestones is known for. Last I had the was just last month. The waiter said they were removed a long time ago. We consumers are not stupid and it's not my first time at milestones. The nice thing to say is "yes, your right they are very good" or "yes, it's too bad they took them off". Not argue with me like I don't know my stuff. Then I order my wine only to find out that the 6 oz and 9 oz have been downsized to 5 oz and 8 oz. How stupid do they think we consumers are?
