E X T E R I O R New and updated…read more P A R K I N G It is packed like always but you'll find a spot. Youll just get some extra cardio prior to setting foot into the actual gym! I N T E R I O R Clean. Updated. Ample, new equipment. Two floors. I don't really use the equipment so I'm not a good judge. But I usually see a lot of open equipment. G R O U P C L A S S E S ZUMBA I live, breathe and die for Zumba. Absolutely love dancing and exercising to bomb sexy a** music. Tahisha: LOVE. Tahisha is cute as hell. Love her high energy. Her music is upbeat. Strong cardio and full body workout. Easy to follow but she switches it up too so there's always something new to learn. She also has a side hustle and does classes on Sat! And she has a fantastic YouTube channel that you can follow for some additional at home Zumba classes. Chiko: Has a very cute bubbly personality; she's so cute. She's more low to medium intensity. Less cardio, easier workout. You can still break a sweat! Great for beginners. Carla: low to medium intensity. Less cardio. Easier workout. You can still break a sweat! Great for beginners, intermediate. Chyna: LOVE. High intensity, Upbeat music, Full body workout. Refer to my Akers LA FIT review. CYCLING I've only attended a handful. I'll update instructors as time passes but I do love it. It can be very high intensity and fun, depending on who teaches, otherwise you'll pretty much always break a sweat since you're really just cycling. Prepare for your lower body, abs and back to be sore! B A T H R O O M Clean. Updated. This review is based on my tour of the gym. TL;Dr: The tour…read morewas very thorough. The gym is very updated and I have no noticed any odors that the others reviewed, they must have fixed it. The theater cardio room and the female only sections were my favorite. They are always staffed, even late into the night - so you are never alone. We signed up after the tour because we were all pleased. (we were not pushed in any way to sign up). Below are more details about each sections. I am very pleased to see that we have this gym open up. I have been curious about this gym for awhile, and decided today was the day I came to check it out. They are doing a promotion at the moment when the enrollment fee will be $10 for the basic, gold package. They have 3 packages: Gold (which is $10/mo), Platinum (20/mo), and Diamond (30/mo). Gold is the only package that is NO commitment, the others have a 12 month term. You are able to freeze your account for 3 months without penalty. Aspire Fitness is located near Starbucks and Walmart, where the old LA fitness use to be. This gym is open 24/7. And they will always have a staff member in the gym. This is a huge plus for females in my opinion. If it gets dark outside, you are able to ask one of the staff members to walk you outside or watch you to make sure you are safe. (You can never be too sure) My first impression of the place was very pleased due to the bright colors. Everything has been updated and it looks really fantastic. We were greeted immediately by Edwin (I believe that was his name). He gave us a tour of the whole facility and was super kind for answering all of our questions. Highlighted rooms: -Theater cardio room: A different movie is played every day and it is on a loop. The room is dark and cool; but not at all stuffy. -Classes: The next room are for classes, such as zumba or kickboxing. You are able to use a projector to find something more your level if the rooms are not in use. Or if you just want a quiet, little sanctuary to meditate, I can totally see this as being a thing. -Main lobby: The main floor is divided by areas of the body/machine. Free weights are to the left of the building. They use Olympic weights that are made of rubber so it does not damage the weights or the ground when you drop it. -Female only section: There is a female only section that I find very appealing. They have all the machines and equipment available. So if the gym is packed and you are a female - feel free to utilize the guy-free zone. -Crossfit - like workouts: In front of the basketball court. They have even have a tire you can roll. -Second floor: The second floor are lined with different types of cardio machines if you just feel like watching TV. If TV aren't your thing, it seems that you can listen to the radio at each machine, which I think is a nice touch. -Locker room: The locker rooms are updated and they look very beautiful. I didn't notice any smell like the others have mentioned. -The pool is available for the Diamond package. They use freshwater and I didn't notice an odor in any of those areas. -Sauna, tanning and the massage chairs are available for platinum and diamond members and up. You are also able to bring one friend for free if you have either of the two package - not for the gold. Overall, I thought the tour was very thorough. I ended up signing up right there and then because I was very pleased with the facility. I'll update my review about my experiences as a member.

In about 2 more weeks hopefully I'll come back and give it 5 stars. I had to take 1 star away because of how rocky the rollout was. For at least a month those of us that signed up were told repeatedly that the gym would be opening. It took over a month from the expected date for it to actually open. Hours - 5 Stars 24 hours a Day/ 7 Days a Week! There is always someone on staff and all areas are fully accessible. You can't beat this! The facility 4 - Stars This used to be the former LA Fitness location. I must say they have done a wonderful job of updating certain parts of the facility to be more modern and up to date. The bright colors, flat screen tvs, lights and metal makes it really exciting to come in and work out. The drag is they did nothing to the bathroom and pool and jacuzzi or sauna area. In fact. The pool area still has that foul smell it used to have at LA Fitness, which is why I never used it. They did update the lockers which add a nice flair. They could have done the same to the sinks and countertops, but whatever. The equipment - 4.5 Stars They have brand new, state of the art equipment including a Jones Machine (better than a Smith Machine), Olympic style plates, cross fit equipment, a very nice training area with a simulated tire throw, ropes, sled, parachute and more. There is also a Women's Only section, designated for Women. Sometimes it can be a little intimidating to work out with men grunting, sweating and dropping weights. This area allows women to workout in their own area. There are a few more pieces of standard equipment I wish they had like a triceps dip machine and more squat machines and at least 2 Jones Machines. Classes - 5 They have two separate classrooms one dedicated to spin and one dedicated to Zumba/Aerobics type classes. The cool part about it is they are VIRTUAL. That's right. You get to choose the amount of time and the intensity of your workout and then go in and have a class with your virtual instructor. There are no classes to sign up for or set times. Cardio Equipment - 5 Plenty or treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and stair masters. On top of that they have a 24-hour Cardio Theatre with a variety of different cardio equipment to choose from. You watch a movie in a movie theatre setting and this allows you to get your cardio in with a great distraction. There are other neat things to mention like the massage chairs, game room with a pool table and ping pong table (accessible to platinum and diamond members). A Kids Club where you can bring your children ($10 per child/per month) and a full size indoor basketball court. Choose from the $10/month Gold Membership, $20/month Platinum Membership or the $30/month Diamond Membership. The $10 membership does not require a contract while the 2 upgraded packages do. The staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful. There are quite a few that are still learning the ropes so double check what you are told but overall I expect great things and I look forward to my many workouts here. I've already canceled one of my other gym memberships. We'll see about the other one.

However, I can't give it a full 5-star rating due to one major issue: the management's rude and overly aggressive use of the Lunk Alarm at closing time. While I appreciate the concept of the Lunk Alarm, the way it's implemented near closing hours is quite off-putting. It's extremely loud and disruptive. I understand that it's meant to signal to members that it's time to wrap up, but keeping the alarm blaring for what feels like 30 seconds the first couple of times and then continuously for the last 3 minutes before closing feels downright inconsiderate. A simple 3-second alert would suffice! Better yet, a cheap PA system could be used to kindly announce, "Valued guests, it's now 6:45 PM. We close at 7 PM, and we respectfully ask that you start wrapping up." Following that with a similar reminder at 6:55 would be far more courteous. Then, at 7:00 (not 6:58), the alarm could go off. Unfortunately, their approach leaves a very negative impression, and I'm seriously considering checking out other gym options because of it.

The gym is spacious and features a lot of cardio equipment along with a healthy variety of machines and free weights. Additionally, there is a dedicated abs/stretching area and two spaces dedicated to circuit training. Outside of the equipment and machines, they have really great and spacious restrooms/locker rooms and even have tanning booths and massage tables and chairs! I have been going here for about 2 years now and can honestly say that there have been very few occasions where equipment was down and if it was, it was fixed within days. In addition to keeping the equipment in working order, they focus on cleanliness as well. The gym is always clean! This includes allowing you to have the supplies to keep the machines clean so they cleaning stations are always well stocked! Another big plus of PF is the price. I personally love the massage options, so I got the Black Card and pay $20 per month, but if you want basic access to the gym then it will only cost you $10 per month! Only thing I will say about this particular location is the staff, at least the ones who work the counter. I get its a gym and if you aren't a trainer then it can get boring, but the counter attendants are the least engaging customer service associates I have ever encountered. They aren't rude or terrible, but they just are not concerned and it seems like I am bothering them more times than not. However, it's never been enough to drive me to another gym! Overall, this is my home gym and will remain so as long as I live in the area!

I quite like it…read more I've been a member of Planet Fitness for about 6 years now and most of the locations are about the same. But this one has a very big floor plan and the cardio area is totally separate from the weight room, which is nice. The cardio area is huge so it's good for walking laps and things like farmer carries. (As a note... Occasionally you have problems with staff at any PF location, but then I will just avoid that location and wait for them to no longer work there. This may not work for everyone and I get that. But me being able to do so impacts my review and why I give it 5 stars when someone else may give it 1... so far here, so good for me. But I haven't had to change my membership or anything like that, either. There's just not enough nice gym chains here in Atlanta and it seems like regardless of which one you go to (PF, Onelife, Golds, LA Fitness) you're going to have these same issues eventually. I find the ones I have at PF to be less problematic than the ones I've had at other franchises. Different people may feel differently depending on their needs.)
