Ummm... seriously !! I'm not sure who wrote the last few reviews , but I can definitely tell u as a customer for the past few months at this place , that it is ridiculously Nasty... Please Hire New Management because clearly the management at this facility could care less about the quality of this place. One of the things that got me here to pay for a membership in the first place ' was the fact that they were open 24 hrs. The gym itself is pretty decent but the locker rooms and equipment are disgusting most of the time. They barely ever have wipes to clean the equipment off. U have very gross lazy members who exercise and sweat all over the machines and then just walk away without even cleaning it. ( probably because there are never any wipes ) When u have a gym with $10 memberships obviously the quality of some of the members is not going to be the best. In About 4 months I've only seen someone clean the locker rooms twice. The floors are trashed and never mopped , trash not emptied except for maybe once a day. Nothing ever wiped down as far as the sinks counters etc. people spit inside the sinks and don't rinse them out. I have photos of the garbage to hopefully send to cooperate. The thing that gets me is that they always want your money monthly and also on top of that , they take a " SO CALLED " annual maintenance fee but there is no maintenance ever !! *** The Sauna always has tons and dust and trash inside of it and people actually have to sit in there and inhale all that garbage which is definitely an issue for the health department I think ***** Along with the other filth added to it. Also, there is clearly a sign that says to shower before entering the sauna and sit on a towel but NO ONE EVER DOES !! They go right in there after working out , like it's no big deal. Another issue for the health department especially since u can possibly get staph infection that way. Very unhealthy environment in a place where u go to get healthy.. ummmm again !! I've tried talking to the manager, but all he did was play stupid like he had no idea why things are so dirty. I brought a friend on a guest pass and she even complained to them as well. So embarrassing! Then make workers will just walk in the women's locker room without announcing themselves.. how rude . 2 toilets had broken seats.... bench in shower has been broken for over 4 months. Trash in showers.

Really bad. Sauna is always broken. You'll be lucky to even find paper towels. Staff just doesn't care, and honesty it's such a waste.

The equipment was good, just make sure you look at your bank account after cancelling to see if they're still charging you.

Ask the Community - Aspire Fitness Austell

I am interested mainly because of the lap pool. Is it clean and accessible for slower swimmers to do laps? It's been several years since I swam for fitness & I am very out of shape

I think it is. There used to be some issues with the pool but they seemed to have resolved them. It's also not very crowded.

Both visits were such great experiences. The flexologists I had were Troy and Dr.Lexi. They were both so knowledgeable and gave me tips to take with me. The staff is very friendly! DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO! You'll never get your money back…read more Stay away from this place and the franchise altogether. Truly abhorrent and deceptive policies. They baited and switched me and now are harassing me to pay them when I never even had an appointment. I wanted to book an appointment while on a work trip, before heading to the airport. The Stretchlab online calendar had an appointment opening I wanted and the website prompted me to check out online. I paid online within a few minutes, but the website no longer showed the appointment as available. I called them to schedule and nobody picked up. 15 minutes later I get a welcome text from them to book an appointment. I then texted back to ask for a refund since I had to make a flight, to which they responded that there are NO REFUNDS, and I could use my credit next time I'm in town. I don't live in ATL and do not know when I'll back so this wasn't acceptable. I called my credit card company who disputed the charges for me since I never received a service and they were reversed out. I was ready to move on with life but a month later, Stretchlab emails me saying I owe them $25 for a charge reversal, which is clearly not the consumer's liability. The stupidity of all of this is that if they admitted to the website's scheduling error and allowed my cancellation, processing my refund would've cost them 2-3%. Instead, they forced me to request a chargeback since they never provided me with a service and that costs them much more. Where they are wrong is having a policy to pass these charges to the consumer. I am filing complaints with the Georgia BBB and Consumer Protection Department and will be posting my story on any and all social media review sites so consumers are forewarned about this place.

I've never experienced anything like what happened at the LA Fitness in Austell yesterday…read more(11/10/2025). While I was using the Smith machine, another patron walked up, put his bag down, and when I told him I was using it and had two more sets left, he went and told a manager -- Omar. A few minutes later, Omar came all the way from the front of the gym to interrupt my workout and ask me how many sets I had left, apparently to "make sure everyone can use the equipment." What's strange is that there's another Smith machine right behind me that was also occupied, but Omar didn't ask that person anything. When I pointed that out, he said, "We don't have to do that." That made it clear he was only addressing me because someone complained. Then he told the other patron to "just hop on whenever she finishes her two sets." Not when I was done -- but specifically after two sets -- as if a manager can dictate when someone's allowed to use a machine they're already on. To me, that's completely unprofessional. Everyone in the gym pays the same monthly fee. If a machine is in use, you wait your turn -- that's basic gym etiquette. I don't expect special treatment, and I definitely don't expect a manager to interrupt my workout because someone didn't want to wait. If capacity is an issue, the gym should add more equipment. But targeting a member mid-workout to accommodate someone else isn't fair or respectful. The way Omar handled the situation showed a real lack of tact and impartiality. I've always believed gyms should be about mutual respect and shared space, but this experience really left a bad impression. Hopefully, LA Fitness takes this seriously and makes sure managers treat all members equally.

Spoiled by not really having to worry about working out or food for most of my life, time caught up…read morewith me. Literally! After years of the gym, trainers and sporadic spurts of fitness motivation, I tried bootcamp. More specifically, I decided to do the winter camp in December because it was a shorter 3-week version under the idea that even I could survive three weeks of working out. After almost backing out the weekend before it started, I showed up at 5:30am on Monday and told myself if I didn't like it or some random instructor yelled at me, I didn't have to come back, as long as I got through the first day. Well, I didn't like it and couldn't even run an entire mile without walking, but the instructors and other campers encouraged me and made me feel comfortable enough to struggle through the PT test. So I came back the next day, and now 4 months later I just completed another month of boot camp and can't wait for the next one to start! Have I lost weight and gotten stronger? Yes, considerably! But more importantly, boot camp has taught me to focus on pushing myself to do more physically. I no longer focus so much on weight loss, but on getting stronger, faster, eating better and setting new goals for myself. If you're doing that, other results will fall into place and you don't get discouraged by numbers on a scale or BMI percentages. And the unexpected benefit that you won't find running on a treadmill - a wonderful group of people to encourage you and celebrate your progress and push you toward new goals. If I could give it more stars I would - OBC Smyrna has been an absolutely positive experience - 100%+

"There Is No Goal Like A Fitness Goal"…read more This is my life motto after experiencing OBC for the past 2 months. Like a large percentage of 40+ year olds that totally committ themselves to a boot camp lifestyle, I understand that reaching fitness goals don't come as easy as it once did. At 41 and hearing a lot of horror stories of people my age and younger who are having heart attacks, suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, I decided it was time to set some serious fitness goals and committ myself to a totally fit lifestyle. OBC has given me a totally new perspective on reaching weight/fitness goals and has motivated me to reach for the sky. A combinination of committed and motivating fitness instructors and serious campers like myself converge at 5:30 am 4 days a week to motivate each other in fitness and in life. The progress that I have made from not being able to finish my first workout to improved time and reps in every aspect of the PT test are motivating contributors to getting up early in the morning and literally not missing a workout session. I must say that my decision to join OBC was the best decision that I have made in a while and certainly one of the most beneficial. I encourage everyone to make the committment.
