We're ready to conquer the trails after Mandi very generously offered all of our students and chaperones pancake breakfast. We probably wouldn't be able to keep doing these sorts of trips without support from our community. You can bet El Bambi has a customer for life in me, but I must tell you, the food was amazing. If you're driving through Beaver this summer and need a meal- I highly suggest you stop by and meet this amazing group of superheroes.

While there, I didn't have high hopes of finding quality coffee in this beautiful but tiny one traffic light town. I was wrong. Way wrong. As a coffee snob, I can fully recommend this gem of a mom and pop business. The menu is great. The food menu is great. The staff is awesome. And my high school friend from California lives in beaver and knows the owner. Small world. Go. Get some real coffee.

There's not great seating for young kids, and there are no highchairs. And after hours of driving, I didn't love having to balance precariously on a stool, which was the only seating available at a time. I would grab and go pizza here anytime, but if I wanted a more relaxing meal, I would definitely go to the Timberline Inn instead.
