(The gas lighting is crazy) For my horn, didn't even check the relay or fuses (my car was stolen 3 years ago so the piece to cover my steering wheel column isn't covering my ignition). They must've thought my car was stolen recently so they didnt bother to check my fuses or horn relay and overcharge me for something else. Complete rip off. Of course I had them take out the very expensive lights and took it to a different shop where I can talk directly to a mechanic. Waste of money! Taking advantage of woman drivers. I recently did an…read moreengine swap from a four-cylinder to a six cylinder, and I have been having the biggest headache trying to get it smogged because of all the loopholes that you have to jump through with the smog referee. I couldn't get 3 different smog shops to just plug in their computer so I can get a VIN number verified by the bureau of automotive repair. However at O'Brien's without hesitation, he was able to get my Vin for me and did not even charge me I really appreciate how easy going and understanding he was definitely going to bring my other vehicles back. I had to raise my voice just to stop an employee from washing my windows after I watched him repeatedly hit a cinder block wall with the same rag he was about to use on my car. After that, they literally threw my keys onto the hood of my car--on metallic paint, no less. To make things worse, the employee helping me got an attitude when he tried to upsell me on synthetic blend oil. They had no problem using conventional oil on my car during a previous visit and said nothing when my wife brought it in. Now suddenly they're saying it's "not recommended," making a note in the system that I declined their suggestion. My car only has 70,000 miles on it. Overall, the lack of professionalism and inconsistent information was unacceptable. I won't recommend this place to anyone, and I definitely won't be sending my wife back. I don't care how cheap they are--I'd rather pay more for respectful, competent service.
