08/14 - I bought my car from this location back in August of 2014. Prior to that I had a 3.5 liter, 6 speed Nissan Maxima which was a super quick car. This car was awesome for speed and power, but had many maintenance problems especially with the clutch. I replaced the clutch 3X's along w/numerous other mechanical issues which were nickel and diming me to death with repairs. Every time you repair something you think good now I don't have to worry about anymore repairs, but they kept popping up to a point where I knew I needed to look for a more reliable car. After a little research I decided on a Honda Accord. The Honda Accords are known to be one of the most reliable cars, plus they have a great resale value. My brother in Seattle currently has one that has 230,000 miles on it. After looking on line for about 5 - 6 weeks I saw a Honda Accord @ Millennium Auto @ 3250 N Cicero Ave. The car that I found on line was a good $4-5,000 dollars less then other Accords that were posted on line. I called and asked if the car was still available. When I found out that it was still available I went there immediately. (Millennium Auto is only 2.8 miles from where I live). When I got there I asked for Tony Marcial the gent that I spoke to on the phone. The first thing I asked him is what's wrong with this car. I figured there must be something wrong with this car to be posted for so much less then market value. Tony was very straight forward and told me that the car was rebuilt. He showed me pictures of the damage to the front right end of the car before the rebuild I took the car out for a test drive and it drove like a brand new car w/only 10,618 miles. I asked Tony if I could take this car to my mechanic before making the decision to buy it. He agreed to let me take it to my mechanic. After the mechanic inspected it he said it looks like they did a great job and said the parts used were original Honda parts. We took it for a test drive and once again it drove like a new car. He asked me what they were asking for it and I said 11K out the door, tax, title, license plates. He said he would buy it for that price and so I did. I paid cash and drove out with my new/used car This turned out to be an awesome car. I bought the car in Aug 2014. Until Jan 2019 the only servicing I did were gas and oil changes. No major maintenance. Jan 13, 2019 some guy tried pulling a U Turn while I was in the left lane next to him. The next thing I Know my car is being towed in and declared a total loss. Think about it I bought the car 08/14 & it's totaled on 01/13/19. Like I said these cars a very reliable and hold their value. I had over 63,000 miles on the car in just over 4 years and the insurance company is giving me back what I paid for the car. Tony at Millennium Auto was very helpful. SHADY SALES TACTICS The bank would not finance the car I originally choose and I had to pick another car the day I came with money to put down, DESPITE my multiple attempts to get all that in order before waiting an additional hour. Then, I finally get the Optima... Had it for a few days, and it already needed a jump; they had the WRONG DAMN BATTERY in the car! I was told that I would be going home by 6:30 pm, after they took my vehicle to the shop to check the fluids. By 7:30 they finally returned the vehicle with salt water stains on the hood. Can't vouch for the experiences of others, but working with Kevin was a breeze. Millennium took good care of me and even drive 25 miles round trip to pick me up when I sold my old car elsewhere. I went to them after finding what appeared to be a "too good to be true" deal on cars.com. Indeed, it was; that car was priced way below market because it had a rebuilt title (was in an accident). We went to their website and found 3 alternatives. I selected another (with a clean Car Fax report, and a cars.com rating of Great Deal), they pulled it up and within 15 minutes I was on a test drive. I decided to go with that one, but pointed out that the breaks were sounding worn. They took care of that, and replaced the battery. Not sure what else I would want out of a used car buying experience. If you want croissants, espresso, and a massage while you wait for paperwork you should go buy a new Bentley. When we got there the vehicle was not there and then they tried selling it to me after they told me it was a salvaged (most likely totaled). I bought a car from here and had to resell it in 3 weeks because of issues Millennium didn't tell us about. I was told the car had been inspected but after leaving, it had serval issues. Millennium offered to fix the issues but their repair caused another issue. During this entire process, it was difficult to get answers and call backs from Millennium. I was told I would get a copy of my CarFax and never did even though I followed up multiple times. After not being able to fix the issues, I resold the car and lost $4K. This place advertises cars that are significantly BELOW market value. The deals seem too good to be true. They are too good to be true, because the majority of them are salvaged titles. Meaning, no reputable bank will give you a loan for them. They will get you to come in for the pricing, but if you want a legit car with no accidents and no salvaged title, it will be hard to find here. The ONE car that was not a salvaged title wouldn't start; it had a dead batter, and it looked like it had been sitting vacant for years. It was SO filthy inside I wouldn't even get in to look at it. The salesman who took care of us was great but then the truth came out about this place. We test drove 5 different cars as this was my 1st shopping stop. After a couple of hours, I still wasn't sure about any of my choices because most of the vehicles had been involved in accidents. We requested the Carfax on the vehicles driven. At the beginning, the Carfax wasn't provided until the first few cars were test driven. Of course, you fall in love with a vehicle that has a bad history and then it doesn't work out. Salesman made excuses why I couldn't take the vehicle to be inspected at my mechanics (Might steal parts, don't have anyone to be gone with the vehicle half a day-even when explained my mechanic was a few miles away and it would only take an hour or so at most). Then salesman would not agree no matter what to let me take it to my mecjanic and became rude when I asked how he expected to sell it if I he didn't let peple have it inspected. I purchased a Hyundai Elantra Hatchback on Saturday, September 23rd. Three weeks after purchasing the vehicle, I was able to take it on a road trip to Ohio from Chicago. Once I hit Toledo, Ohio the ignition light came on, and the vehicle began shifting gears roughly. I was barely able to get it to a Hyundai dealership, where upon inspection they found there was water in the ignition coils. The water was the result from Millenium Auto Sales power washing the car, and more specific the engine. I immediately called Millenium Auto Sales to tell them what had happened. The secretary answered and transferred me to the gentleman in charge of vehicle maintenance/ repairs. There wasn't an answer, so I left a voicemail stating I was having mechanical issues. I never heard back. I had a wedding to get to, and of course also had to drive back home to Chicago. The car was inoperable; therefore, it had to be fixed. The following Monday I took the old parts, pictures, paperwork, and receipt to Millenium Auto Sales. The manager said I was overcharged by Hyundai and had I spoken with him, he would have advised me to not let them fix the vehicle. He also stated the day I called (which was immediately after the car was diagnosed) is his only day off. He never returned that call even when he was back in the office. The secretary should have informed me he was unavailable, as well as had someone else handle the situation. I was stranded in another state! The manager said all he could do was cut me a check for $150, and for every person I refer who buys a vehicle, he'll cut me another check for $150. Really?! No I'm not referring people to buy from Millenium Auto Sales. It would be wrong! They don't stand by their word. More importantly, when I bought the vehicle the manager told me if anything goes wrong within the first month, they'll fix it. Within the first month, my 2017 car broke down while I was in another state because of their mistake. Once Hyundai replaced the coils, it was like driving a new car! Had I driven an Elantra before, I would have noticed it wasn't running correctly before the light came on. Another excuse given by the manager, "The car might have been damaged before they received it". That makes the consumer feel safe. So you're purchasing and selling vehicles without checking maintenance, or maybe they are and they just don't care about selling a vehicle you're going to have to fix right away... read more

This place doesn't deserve any stars. First they proposed to see a price on the car and we saw that they add a lot of fees for nothing, almost $1000 (Transfer fee and other). This fees don't include file document fee, registration, title, plate, federal and state taxes. Before, we were at other dealership and we never saw this kind of fees. When we asked to explain for what this other fees the manager sad that it was their dealership charge for selling cars. He started raising his voice and be rude with us. After failed negotiations, we left with no hard feelings only to receive the following messages. We return to the dealership, filled out the paperwork only to have this "salesman" tell us he meant to type can't do that. Patrick initially greeted us as the owner and gave us face masks. When he was back and negotiating a price, he suddenly had to "talk with the owner" before being able to agree to a price. So are you the owner or a salesman?!? I'm sure the purpose of the follow up text was to be petty and waste our time because we refused to be bullied. My daughter will get her first car elsewhere and we will not be doing business with this dealership again. I feel pretty confident saying this is "THE WORST DEALERSHIP IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA." They will tell you anything (including, but not limited to bold face lies) to get you to buy. As soon as you start filling out paperwork they become inept and rude. I mean to the point where they pressure you to fill out financing forms and ask you to do it fast...but don't give you a pen. My daughter contacted the Attorney General for the State of Illinois and documented that the dealer charged her for title and license but didn't follow through with sending that info in to the State. The Attorney General reached out to the dealer, and within a few days my daughter was sent a refund for the title and license fees. read more

Our experience began as we tried to make an appointment to test drive a car here. We called to ask about a specific car and asked for a follow up email stating our appointment time. No one emailed us, and no one followed up. We continued to look elsewhere, but we kept coming back to this one car they had because it was the exact make/model/color we wanted and the price was right. We called same day to see if we could test drive it. We were told to ask for a specific person, the same one who hadn't followed up with us before... We were apprehensive, but we wanted that car. We even came with check in hand, ready to pay for it in full. When we arrived, the salesmen confirmed the car we wanted to see, took our ids, and left us alone for about 15 minutes whilst frantically trying to locate the correct keys. On the way to the car, he talked about the poor history of the brand we had come to look at. He then opened it up, only to show some corrosion buildup on the engine, plastic coming off of the windows, three dents and multiple scratches. Then he spent another five minutes putting gas in the car. We got to test drive literally around the block while the salesman was talking about his life, not about the car or even what we needed from a car. He then sat us back in his office, said it's a great car, we will put wax on it and will take out the dents. Can I have your business? ........ No? Well let me get my manager so you can tell him what I did for you today. ....... My manager is actually busy. Have a good day. For the biggest purchase I've ever made, there is no way I would give this store my money. ***BUYERS BEWARE*** On August 19, 2019 I went to Millennium Auto to purchase a vehicle for my daughter who's in college. Our sales representative name was Marcus. The vehicle we purchased was a 2014 Ford Fiesta. When viewing the vehicle we were told a previous customer walked away with the original key to the vehicle, therefore, they were using a "vallet" key. This "vallet" key is a plain basic key that does not have a remote and only allows you to lock and unlock a car manually. We were told that a key would be ordered for the vehicle. I spoke with the parts manager by the name of Patrick on August 22nd who assured me he will order the key and call me when the key arrives in order to bring the vehicle in to program the remote. I called Patrick back on September 17th inquiring if the key came in. Patrick stated he would check on the status and call me back. I did not receive a call back so I call Patrick today (which is September 24th). Patrick informs me that he cannot order a key and that he suggest I find a locksmith in my area to get a key made. I explained to Patrick that our purchase with them was based on them having a professional remote key made, and would not have purchase that car without a professional key. The key they provided is a generic key, which seems to be unsafe and more importantly, someone is walking around with the correct key that belongs to our vehicle, which brings up a concern for theft. Patrick stated he spoke with his boss Sebastian (whom I was previously working with on the issue before been handed off to Patrick) and was told they will not order a key. I explained that I am a returning customer and this is bad business and unethical. Millennium Auto also performed false advertisement. The price the vehicle was advertised for is not the price they charged me on my contract. I filed a complaint with the BBB and would not recommend this dealership based off my experience. read more

My overall experience was low. I could go on about the different things that should have probably kept me from buying a car from them. Unless you live close and are willing to go back to have problems fixed, I wouldn't buy from them. Their service dept is a few blocks away with no waiting room. They did try to help when I had issues but everything was "bring the car back" when these things should have been done before I picked up the car. But the icing on the cake was when I found a battery from 2005 in my 2017 Ford Expedition 8 months later. Easiest auto purchase I have ever made. In and out in about three hours. Went to see a 2013 Hyundai Elektra but left with a 2016 Hyundai Accent instead. It is the perfect size car for my wife to feel comfortable in driving. Car is in excellent condition, looks attractive, and really drives nice for a small car.
