They have had equally good experiences. I have done him a disservice by not posting this review years earlier. I quit yelp and logged on to handle something, saw this review sitting in my incomplete reviews and decided to do him a solid and post it even though I despise this site now. I honestly can't say enough good things. They can tow you if you need (through other companies they contract with), they are extremely pleasant, have stayed a few minutes late when I was rushing over after work, etc. Always able to get you in and out quickly as well. If you are looking for an honest and reliable mechanic, Nate is one. Oh, they're also veterans for those of you that care about that sort of thing. There are images from several people's years of service adorning the walls, and one appears to have Nate in it, or it may be his father, I'm not sure. Anyway, just class A people doing good work. I've had my car worked on at ER off and on since I bought the thing. My car is not new by any…read moremeans, and has needed work from a radiator replacement... to brake jobs... to exhaust work... and every little thing in between and they've handled it. They have a super cute lobby at their Plain City location and they always have chilled drinks, coffee, and fresh baked goods. They offer loaner cars for certain services and I've never used that amenity personally, but the loaner vehicles in their lot look very nice and clean every time I see them! Even though I've moved throughout the years I still come back to ER because they're not judgy of my old decaying SUV, and they do their best to help. I can't speak to their pricing just because I honestly haven't had my car worked on anywhere else for big things. But they have coupons and I've always been able to afford their work!

Extremely disappointing experience. The biggest issue is that this shop charged me about $100 MORE…read morethan Tesla for the exact same replacement tire, including installation. An independent shop charging more than the Tesla dealership is absolutely ridiculous. To make matters worse, the tire they installed started leaking air shortly after the installation. I brought it back, and they eventually found the leak at the bead. Instead of taking responsibility for a problem with the installation, they claimed my rim was cracked and tried to sell me a new rim, pointing to existing curb rash as the cause. I took it to Costco for a second opinion. They cleaned and resealed the bead, checked for leaks, and fixed the problem. No new rim was needed. On top of that, communication and turnaround time were extremely poor throughout the entire process. Paid more than Tesla, had a leak after their installation, and was then told I needed an expensive new rim when a simple bead reseal fixed the problem. Get a second opinion before authorizing additional work here.

He canceled last minute (he was drinking of course) so I was in a hurry to find a shop that was still open and able to service at 430 pm. The universe was definitely on my side this day as they had an opening and got me in right away.. This doesn't usually happen per the shop as they are booked out weeks in advance. I can certainly see why... Shop is super clean. Bathrooms super clean. Easy access. Easy to find. Close to gas station- was excellent for me as I was of course on E Staff super friendly. But no, they had me spend 2 grand OUT OF POCKET the first time, didn't fix my issue, instead I had a new one, and another 2787 OUT OF POCKET yet again to fix the issue THEY CAUSED!! And lied to my face as well as lost my ENGINE COVER! These people are ripping you off! DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY TO YOU THEY ARE LIARS and I have paperwork to prove it! On March 30th, I took the car to Cheeseman's after AAA had told me that I had a bad pulley. I asked that the pulley be repaired, and also asked that the brakes be checked, as I had heard them grinding. Later the same day, I was told that my AC compressor had to be replaced, and that all the brakes were fine except that the front ones would need to be replaced fairly soon. I opted to just have the compressor repaired at this time. When I drove the car that evening, I still heard the back brakes grinding, smoke coming from the engine, and the turn signals and hazard lights were no longer working properly. I thought about taking the car back to Cheeseman's, but before I got a chance, they called me and told me that they had forgotten to charge the AC compressor, and asked that I bring my car back in so they could do that. I agreed, and dropped my car off first thing this morning. A short time later, I returned their call to learn that the AC condenser needed to be replaced. I was also told that the back brake shoes and drums had to be replaced. I found this odd as I was told the day before that there was no problem with the back brakes. I had also asked that the relay switch for the turn signals and hazard lights be checked, but I'm not sure if that was even done. They asked for another $750 to fix the condenser and $450 to repair the back brakes, after I had already paid $1100. When I first took the car in, I had asked them initially to let me know what the full cost of repair was going to be, as I wanted to make a decision as to whether or not it was worth it to have such an old car repaired. If I had known that the back brakes needed to be repaired, I would have had them do that the first time I took the car in, but the lady I spoke with on the phone assured me several times the brakes were fine and that the grinding noise was probably due to dust and debris buildup. Not only am I very disappointed that my car is not repaired, the turn signals and hazard lights no longer function properly and I can't even drive it because of the brakes. I feel pretty stupid and embarrassed for trusting Cheesman's with my car, and was literally holding back tears when I went to retrieve it. They had had great reviews and recommendations on my neighborhood Facebook page. I will be taking my car to another shop to have my car properly repaired, as well as to check the work done by Cheeseman's. Honestly, if I had known that the total repairs would be well over $2000, I prwould have started purchasing another car instead.

I had originally taken it to a different major-chain auto shop and was quoted over $700 for the repair! The other auto shop said it was this price because the part was hard to find (I drive a Toyota Camry--not exactly exotic). I thought this was extremely high, so I called Clark Auto Repair for a second opinion. Sure enough, they quoted me only $250 for the part and installation. He also said that the part was very easy to find and could be purchased from any auto parts store (I believe the one they bought for my car was from Napa Auto Parts). He even apologized for the other repair shop for trying to take advantage of me for being a young woman. The repair was quick and easy and everything is working great! I will definitely be coming here for any work I need on my car, as well as referring all my friends and coworkers to Clark Auto Repair!
