Stay away from the Fish & Chips! I don't know how the other food is but the Fish & Chips was the worst I've ever had. First of all it was Mothers Day and at 2pm it wasn't crowded at all so that had nothing to do with the wait. It took so long they came out twice to apologize for the long wait. Once it did come out it was not edible. It was so soft and soggy and oily the first bite the oil oozed out and dropped off my chin. I then put a finger on the top of a piece and pressed down and the oil covered my fingernail and ran on to the plate. My Mother could eat one piece of the four pieces I tried to choke down two. They apologized and the second manager came over and said "if you two want to share a dessert I can do that for you". I don't want anything for free but....... Two grown adults sharing one dessert? My husband and I went in at 6:30 and was told it would be 1 hour for a table. That's fine it's Friday night so we figured it would be busy. After 70 minutes we were seated and after a bit of wait we gave our order. 40 minutes later our meal came and it looked dried out. I had the zingers and fries and both were terrible. The fries either sat under the heat lamp for 40 minutes or they were from lunch, but they were terrible and there was supposed to be cheese on top and sadly there was very little sprinkled in the middle and none over the majority of the dish. My husband got the ribs and they were sad looking and so dry and barely warm. We would have told the waiter but he never came back to our table until he dropped off the check. I have been to other locations and they were good, but this one was terrible and it will be one and done for us! read more

I have been to many Miller locations including St Pete, Tampa and Orlando. Always consistent in food and service until the one on SR64 in Bradenton. The service, especially the bartenders outside are rude and food is fair. By far not keeping up with the brand. We asked if one of the window shutters could be lowered because the wind was blowing everything around at the outside bar and the bartender said no. Flat out no. Didn't even try to ask the manager. Her and a second bartender just stood behind the bar talking and not checking on customers.. I had to flag her down 3x for new drinks.. nachos were horrible. Cold and soggy chips. Very little toppings. Won't go back. Too many better choices on University. read more

I finally convinced my husband to try your new location because I had excellent service and food from the Sarasota location. Unfortunately it was not a good experience at all. Restaurant was not crazy busy and we sat at the bar. Order came out lukewarm at best and my steak looked like a hockey puck. My husband's meal wasn't much better. Never was asked how our meal was and watched our plates sit there for 15 minutes before they even thought to take away. Spoke with several neighbors and they've had the same or worse experience. I just had their Thursday night special of prime rib. Very disappointing I was hoping that their prime rib was great. The flavor was decent. However it was tough as shoe leather could hardly cut through it service was fine I was hoping it was gonna be a great place to go to, and it was my fourth time eating there when I first opened the chicken wings were off the charts they were so good hamburgers the same I had the meatloaf great then I had a ribeye which was so undercooked I like it medium rare. Tried the new Millers Ale House on SR 64. Tuesday night and what a mistake. I'm not sure what was worse, the food or the service. After being seated there was a at least a twenty minute wait after the water was brought to the table, and server said "I'll be right back". Well server disappeared, and I mean DISAPPEARED. So finally I placed the order and the server asked if we wanted the appetizer first and was told we would. Then the wait was on! At the very least it was over a half hour for the appetizer then not even a minute later the dinners were brought out and just about warm. The fried calamari was supposed to be crispy but were soft almost mushy. No marinara sauce but instead a red sweet jelly like something. The Tuesday night special price for the baby back ribs were just terrible, even if they were free. Tuesday special price is 15.99, but they were dry, small rack and the bbq sauce tasted like molasses and brown sugar, IDK what it was, but the ribs were so dry they needed sauce and a large glass of water. JUST TERRIBLE, also they weren't even busy First and last time going there Applebees or Outback now look like a better option. Live and learn. read more

Recently, went to Miller's Ale House!!! The food was very enjoyable! Wings are fried to perfection and great flavors!!!! My complaint is not about the food whatsoever it was the server. Went to Miller's on Black Friday. The original wait time was an hour, only waited for about 25-30 minutes which was a plus!! We sat down.... the waitress Montana must have mistaken us for one of her close associates because she cursed the entire time while we were ordering our food!!! As she put away her ordering pad, I realized I wanted to add a side of fries (shouldn't be hard to forget) she proceeded to say B**** you just seen me put this away... as if we're friends following that Montana dropped an F Bomb as if we're not paying customers. I felt as if it was discrimination because why did Montana feel like she can use such profanity. Not only did I get called a B**** because I ordered a side of fries but the fries didn't even come out in a timely fashion. Instead of apologizing for her mishaps she came to explain but after being called a B**** there's no explanation wanted. I do not condone being called out of my name. She also gave us our dipping sauce 20 minutes before our food came out idk what was the purpose of having our ranch and blue cheese sit for 20 minutes. Food was excellent and service was exceptional. Usually new openings have glitches to work out, but service and food was excellent. We were a party of 3 and one had a medical appointment following lunch. We had a 15-20 minute wait upon arrival. As we were pressed for time we explained our concern to Alex, our server. We viewed the menu while we waited to be seated and placed our food order along with our drink order. Food came out exceptionally fast and was excellent. Server gave us special attention to make sure we were able to have enough time to eat before leaving for our appointment! Kudos to Alex, our server! Will definitely be going back! read more

This was our first and last time coming here. Our food took over 40 mins to come out (not during a busy time), food definitely sat in the window as the plates were very hot and the food was dry. The salads came out with the meal. The salmon was charred and overdone while the steak was undercooked, so we asked to have it remade. The steak took almost 20 mins to come out and it was still rare (supposed to be medium.) The manager came out and was very nonchalant about the whole thing. When we told him about the plates sitting in the window too long, he said, "Well we don't do that here". The steak was taken off the bill and the server was very apologetic. However, this trip completely turned us off from coming back anytime soon. read more

VERY LOUD MUSIC! You could barely hear others at your table and hold a descent conversation. Watered down, very thin, "cheese sauce" that came with the pretzel. Sweet tea was nearly undrinkable as there was at least two teaspoons of visible sugar on the bottom of each cup. Over 45 minutes to receive our food. Had to get a manager to chase down our food. Fries were recooked, wrinkled, and very greasy as if they sat under a heat lamp for a considerable amount of time. Had to eat the Philly sand. with a knife and fork because the grease soaked through the bread and fell apart all over the table. The Cajun chicken pasta tasted bad and was nearly uneatable. We watched four tables and ten bar people sit down and receive their food before ours. Manager sat people down at a dirty table and they refused to sit in it and they had to find someone else to clean the table properly. This 'restaurant' surely has very bad service and is falling apart in various ways already and it has not been open that long. Not one item was taken off our check and no manager stopped by to check on our table, or to apologize for their sub-par service. read more

I will say we always enjoyed the food at ale house but this visit was not it. First they sat us by the bar even though there were booths and seats inside. This was ok as it was not hot but it went down hill from there. Server was pre-occupied and very slow. Took a while to order and receive our food. During our waiting time we had to hear the bar tenders continually curse and complain. Server messed up a drink and the bar tenders would not stop complaining and cursing about her. Add the drunk people at the bar and it was not a nice experience and then of course one of the bar tenders would leave and so would the waitress. Then they would appear 10 minutes later together. Odd behavior. For the food - we asked for sauce on the side, never got it until we requested it 20 minutes later when the server appeared to ask if all came out ok. At this point we were almost done. Drinks remained empty the entire time until were were almost done. While service may have gone down elsewhere ale house should be on their game. Other location is much better south but overall my worst part of this was the bar tenders which my kids don't need to hear all of their cursing within 6 ft away. They need training on this and if they are so unhappy they should leave. Maybe we will try in 6 months or so. Hopefully they will go through these crap employees and management! read more

If you have any type of food allergy do not go here! I have to be gluten-free because I have celiac disease. They don't have anything labeled as gluten, friendly or gluten sensitive, however, there are plenty of naturally gluten-free items on the menu so I tried to order something. I was there in a party of six I asked the hostess if they had a special menu and she said no that the server would be able to accommodate my allergy questions and tell me what I could eat. I asked a couple questions about their salmon and their rice mix and he stated there is nothing in the kitchen that is gluten-free. So my party wanted to leave, but I told them no since it was late in the afternoon to just order and I would be fine. Three minutes later, the server came back and said our manager said we could do a bunless burger. No manager came to the table. And at this point, I did not feel safe eating there. They do not take allergies seriously and are not accommodating. All that it would've taken for me to feel safe, was the manager to come to my table and let me know that he could communicate with the kitchen on how to cook food safely which is an option and possibility at many other restaurants with a similar menu. My allergy is my issue I know but it takes very little effort for this type of restaurant to make something for me especially if they already have safe ingredients and all they need to do is simply get a clean pan and cooking utensils and wash their hands. read more

I normally don't rate places and I know this place just recently opened. We've gone to a millers b4 and loved the food and was soooo looking forward to going to this restaurant. We were a table at 6 and arrived on a Monday a little after 3. The place was not busy. My brother in law and I both ordered a side salad to go along with our meal. The salad would have been awesome had not the lettuce been a little wilted. We waited 45 min to get our food and they weren't busy to justify such a long wait. When our food arrived, I was so looking forward to eating my meal which was called the Mimi bowl (Not sure if that's the name). However, my food was cold and both my husbands and brother-in-laws burgers were so badly burnt and the fries were cold, it was inedible. We had to ask for a manager who offered a free dessert and they were going to remake our meals. Having to wait so long to begin with we canceled our orders and just got something from Wawas due to time constraints. The waitress was apologetic and said it was between shift change and they prob forgot about the burgers. I believe they open at 11 so was surprised by her response of being in a shift change at 4 but okay. I can understand that. Hoping this place gets their act together or they won't last long. read more
