Don't waste your time. We were told it would be a 20-minute wait when we arrived. After 30 minutes, I noticed there were 11 available tables and at least 8 parties waiting. Waitstaff was just standing around, talking about "how hungry" they were. I asked why we weren't being seated. I was trying to find words how to write that I know it's a New Russia addres open up and they got there often on floss customer service waitress staff, and the drinks are excellent but but getting the food out to the customer at a reasonable time is what they need to work on. Example I order the fish and sticks my girlfriend order a steak and shrimp. The food came out. Mine was warm or hot, but my girlfriends food was very warm and it wasn't very delicious at all, we have talked and we're thinking about give them a second chance but when you order fish and chips and steak, you should cook the fish and chips last right before the state gets done. then the girlfriend will get her food nice and hot and I get my food nice and hot and I was happy. But the old fashion is the bomb. I enjoy that drink very much. read more

I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Ordered the hamburger medium well. The waiter came by as soon as our food was delivered by somebody else, and asked if everything was OK. I did not have a chance to even take a bite of the cheeseburger It was way too red so basically cooked rare. Waiter did not come back until it was time for the check. I said the hamburger is too rare. He did not offer to replace it. He did not offer to take it off the bill. Won't be going back. read more

I can't believe this! My friends and I came to Ale House to watch football. Ate, ordered drinks and asked to watch the Alabama game. Well, here we go again. I give their appetizers 5 stars, our table had three appetizers, calamari, mozzarella sticks and their awesome large pretzel. All excellent. Then we received our meals, Mahi Mahi sandwich, I don't believe the fish was Mahi Mahi, it was fish sticks that were rubbery tasting. Another one at our table had a hamburger that was supposed to be medium rare but came beyond well done. Another person at our table ordered a Philly steak and cheese that was uneditable. Finally the last person in our party ordered a hamburger with shaved ribeye on top, only ate half it was so bad. I give 5 stars to their deserts. We absolutely love Miller's Ale House. We used to go to the one in Sarasota until the one in Bradenton opened up. Today we went to the Bradenton location around 2:00pm. They were packed, as usual. We waited around 20 minutes for our table which was no big deal; however, they sat us in the bar area which had all four bay doors open. It was a nice day, but the breeze made it cool inside the bar area to the point that everything was blowing around. We kindly asked our server if they could close one of the bay doors, but the manager refused. We then asked to be seated elsewhere, but they said we would have to be placed on a waitlist, once again. We kindly asked them to cancel our order and we left the restaurant. I am pretty disappointed the way management handled our situation. read more

1. Asked 4sweet tea...got unsweet.. 2. ordered their Thur special...prime rib with 2sides 17.99 3. Prime Rib wasn't edible....so tough could barely chew. Got salad & baked potato as sides. Out of the 12oz prime rib...only 3oz LOOKED edible. Potato cold...didn't even melt butter. 4. Our waitress was attentive and happily gave food recommendations. I ordered I'm Mojito and it was very refreshing. We shared the calamari. It was cooked to perfection and was delicious. My friend had the prime rib and it was cooked perfectly, with fresh veggies. I ordered the prime burger and that was delicious as well. Way too much food and I took home half of my burger. Three times I went here and ordered a steak. First two times I ordered it medium rare -- and it came out super well done. Third time I figured let me order it rare, since they're notorious at this location for over-cooking steak & burgers here .. and it came out legit red meat raw. I sent it back the third time .. and by the time it came back cooked more thoroughly the sides were cold. A fun place to grab appetizers or whatever; but they for real need to train their kitchen staff on how to cook a steak as ordered. read more

Some of the side orders such as a salad and vegetable melody were not delivered with the meals. Sirloin steak was like chewing on rubber..Needed a chainsaw to cut through it. I was sawing so hard with my knife I thought I would cause the plate to go off the table. It was so tough I was afraid I would choke. Could hardly chew it. Steak was Very undercooked. We tried to get the bartenders atte to order an appetizer but ended up spending our time googling other places to get food. None of the 3 bartenders wanted to take our order. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad for $14. The lettuce just barely covered the bottom of the bowl. The chicken tasted good but no value here the music was so loud at 11 AM that it was very annoying. I can understand if it was at night when the business was full, and people were talking over each other . (Having the music that loud ). The business was practically empty. The hamburger was good, but the french fries were not ....our server was attentive. The food and atmosphere where really good , but what keeps coming back is the great staff Christian and Chase took care of our drinks and food order. We sat at the outer bar area and Christian has been our bar tender 60 % of the time. We come back to see and talk to him and of course the great food. Love this place and especially the staff. Even the great lady at the front door doesn't let us leave without making sure everything was great. Make sure you visit them , you won't be disappointed. read more

Nope on this one, we frequent Millers Pubs both in Sarasota and at home up north. They have the best burgers of any medium priced chain restaurant in Sarasota but this one in Bradenton is not up to par. Ordered my burger med rare came out more towards med well and the fries were hard and burnt, my wife had the same issue with her food, not how she ordered it. Don't bother. A month after opening, you'd believe they'd have their act together. Not so. Service was sub par, and food delivery was horrible. Ordered the Mimi's salad, was average at best. Because it was Thursday, I ordered the Prime Rib Special. OMG. Ordered MR, and got Well. Sent back w/o even touching. Ordered a side salad at $2.49 extra, and never receive the side mixed veggies which were to accompany my meal. Sent the whole thing back. Oddly enough, TWO other tables surrounding ours sent their meals back with a manager apologizing. While there was a wait to get seated when we left, we truly felt like telling these patrons not to bother. Instead, we'll tell you. DON'T BOTHER. This place definitely needs to get their act (especially kitchen) in order for them to survive after 'season'. Floor is exceptionally slippery in wet/rainy weather. We will not go back. Plenty of other 'similar' restaurants with 'established' kitchen/wait staff. Sorry, but after over a month of being open, their service/food should have been much better. Only an extra star because our appetizers were good! The four of us brought home at least half of our meals to feed the dogs! Always try the burgers on first trip to a pub... should always be good but two of us had different burgers and they were so overcooked they were dry and we couldn't even swallow them (both of us ordered medium rare and they were extremely well done)! Another ordered Mahi-mahi sandwich and was frozen fish sticks like you get frozen at the supermarket...definitely NOT Mahi-mahi! Another ordered Philly steak and cheese and the meat was burnt and inedible! The homemade chips were good and the onion rings were good! Will NEVER go back! Had eaten at a few other MAH locations , always with good results. Yesterday's lunch was a different story. Went specifically to try the $7.99 lunch specials. Not that busy and after about 15 minutes, had to ask the greeter if we should go to the bar to get beverage service or if there was a wait staff available to take our orders. She was able to roust the only person we saw waiting tables who did not seem pleased that we were interrupting whatever he was doing in the back. Figured he was having a bad day either at work or at home etc.. Either way, he definitely didn't want to be there, Wife had soup/salad. /salad was ok, soup was marginal in terms of flavor and definitely not up to serving temperature ( 140 deg/f is a minimum for safety ) I had the meatloaf special. Food service quality with canned or bagged mashed potatoes, along with a "wet" broccoli which we were told was supposedly steamed , but way overdone and tasted as if it may have been heated on a grill with oil etc. In both cases,, my wife & I both thought the $7.99 deal wasn't worth it and we left disappointed in flavor and especially with the service. We realize the challenges with every facet of restaurant operations but suggest a training program for those that interact with customers, You know, the ones who if you don't have a customer, you don't have a business..... read more

Just had lunch here on a rainy Sunday and it was the perfect place to stop. Christian and Steven are the best for servers and the atmosphere and food were great ! The onion soup is wonderful. We ate the for our 4 times. The food has come out not as hot as I know it should be. The service has been above and beyond great. Very helpful knowing we are gluten free so question has to asked. Thomas was our waiter and did a great job , they were a little understaffed and he had a10 top plus 3/4 4 tops. We really like it there better the our club house we have . Waited over one hour to be seated. Waited 1 hour for our food to reach the table. It was actually to cold where we were seated. AC blowing straight down onto our booth. They never lowered it after asking twice. Philly Cheese steak was the worst I've ever had in my life. I've eaten in a few Millers Ale Houses but this one is really one for the books.
