We finally decided to do the 30 minute wait to see what the hype was, we only waited 15 minutes to get to our table, we gave our order, I ordered the mountain Zingers, and my wife ordered the Fish and Chips, we waited about 30 minutes for our food to come out, my Zingers were cold, and not very good being cold. The fish came out hot and was a good portion, so I shared some of it with my wife and it was good. The waitress was good and did get us comped on the cold Zingers. Considering the long wait to get our food and the cold Zingers we will probably not come back for quite a while, there are many places that have given us a better experience that we will choose. read more

Had a great experience at Millers on Saturday. It was busy, but we were seated quickly and orders taken promptly. Server was Bianca and she was very personable. Great customer service. The food was so-so. The wait to be seated was slow even though it wasn't crowded at all. I know several people who work there and don't get enough hours but yet they are constantly hiring and promising good hours only to be worked down to 2 days a week after a couple of weeks. First time I have ever gone to a Miller's and I absolutely loved it. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and amazing food. The interior was absolutely beautiful, although I got lost trying to find the restrooms, but my ribs were falling right off the bone. Can't wait to go back and eat there again. You would think that a larger cooperate chain would have trained better prior to opening. The good thing was they were limiting the flow for seating so the kitchen wouldn't be overwhelmed, but even then there were issues with food. first the old fashioned cherry was muddled out of existence where i actually enjoy to eat mine, The choice of higher end bourbons for same price was nice. wife ordered chix zingers and I the philly cheese steak. First my sand came and the server asked if it looked ok because she didn't think so? If she thought that why would she even bring it to the table? So we sent to back also because it was cold and it didn't arrive with my wife s order. so then later both items arrived but zingers were ice cold as well as the fries. my sandwich was hot but not very tasty and void of much actual filling. Ordered Prime Rib, first came out rare, sent back, consisted of 50% FAT. I did express my feelings to the male manager on duty, even offering to pay 50% of the dinner price of $15.99, he seemed not to care. He apologized and left, uncaring. I spoke to him again before I left. My husband and go to Miller's Ale House at least twice a week. This time, including a gift card, we spent $160.00+. 10/10 experience at the Clermont Millers Ale house! Our bartenders Adam, Lauren, Asia and Andy were absolutely amazing. Super friendly and attentive. Great knowledge of the menu and answered any questions we had. Super impressive for the first day open. We had the nachos, Cajun chicken pasta and the bbq burger. Everything was cooked to perfection! So me and friends were in town on vacation I wanted to introduce them to the Irish breakfast shots... ordered a round from the sever and she brought us the shot and orange juice but no bacon..... she failed to mention when we first ordered there was no bacon when we asked about the shot. So, I did contact customer service. And, wow! A corporate employee responded, far exceeding any expectations I had about a response. He made no excuses about my review. In fact he took each point I made and responded with how the situation should have been handled and would be handled going forward. I've never encountered anyone that went out of their way like that to correct a situation, and it fostered good will. Will probably give them another try, but will definitely eat in house. Baby steps. Fresh wings, right from the kitchen. And, then maybe takeout wings, haha. They are "good people". read more

Millers generously donated food to our South Lake Soldiers Youth Football team end of season party. They gave use huge portions of Cajun Chicken Pasta to feed over 150 players and parents. The food was delicious, hot and very tasty! The best part besides the food was meeting Barry, the GM. He was just amazing to work with and very supportive of our league! Tried this place for the first time and I won't be going back. The server was nice enough but the food was terrible. We were a party of 5 and not one dish was warm forget hot. French fries looked like they were under the heating lamp too long and were still cold. The cheese on the zinger platter was melted at one time but by the time it got to the table it was cold and hard. Mashed potatoes were too salty to eat and gravy looked congealed. I went into Miller's for a company lunch. Our server Vale was great, she was constantly on the go! We walked in to her serving another large group (apparently we were her 3rd one for the day) and she still served us with a huge smile. First time at the restaurant. This was signaled to the server by a red napkin placed at the end of our table. We were seated in the bar. Very loud for my mom. Server came over for drink orders but we were not ready for food yet. A little while later we said we were ready and gave her the order. Nothing big. A burger very rare and zingers. When the food came out it took a while for the server to check that all was good. My mom's burger was far from the rare she ordered. It was almost well done. My chicken was delicious. The server popped over towards the end of the meal to clean dishes but still never asked how the food was. My mom stopped to ask the host what the red napkin was for from the beginning of our meal. She told us it was to let the server know it was our first time. Seemed insignificant since nothing seemed to be done differently from any other table. My suggestion is if you are going to signify a new guest, be sure something special is done. As easy as have a manager visit the table and welcome your new guests. This was our first time at this location. After so many bad reviews was hoping all the kinks had been worked out. No such luck. Got seated by the hostess after waiting 20min and watching the waiter and waitress attend to people around us including 2 groups that came in after us we left. We visited yesterday for the third and last time! Seems they just cannot get it together. On our previous visit, the ticket was lost, 45 min wait for food. Server spent too much time in the back of house and did not manage his tables, then food came out cold. Yesterday, the potstickers came out warm in the middle, but the outside was cool. How hard is it? they go from saute pan to table...... Burgers were ordered medium well, were oily and had no flavor at all. It would be nice to have a slightly toasted bun, out of the bag does nothing for the experience. Our server Lou was good. I cannot see the attraction to this restaurant. Is there that many people in Clermont that settle for subpar food? I do wish the cooks would wear beard nets on the line. I have experienced too many inattentive waitresses that need reminders on empty drinks and returns with the wrong drinks. The food is ok but the gnats are not! I thought I wouldn't have to drive to the one in Winter Garden anymore but I won't be back until things change. Clermont demands quality service and better dining options. I like ale house just not this location I had so many bad experiences here but Bc me and my husband enjoys ale house we always end up back here there was one time we had a to go order and they was a bottle cap in our food (disgusting) and majority of the time we go there we wait a hour just to get our food and a hour just to get our check (this happened even when there not busy) and one waiter doesn't serve you about 5 of them do so just this location sucks and the foods always bad will not be coming back to this location it's literally not even worth it at this point read more

The food was okay. They sat us directly under a speaker so we had to yell to hear one another the entire time. Plus the server instantly made the entire experience horrible. Luna (I think) with the short, bleached hair, greeted the table in the rudest most condescending way, had a horrible attitude, made sexist remarks within the first 2 minutes, and spoke to us like we were trash. Management and staff on a slow Saturday could not get a table of 6 together within an hour, yet there were wide open tables. The manager told us we should expect to wait, we did an hour and they still had no idea how long. Nobody was waiting in the wait area, they had no skills to seat or serve larger groups than 4. Manager argued and played devils advocate instead of owning up they are not skilled at seating for customers or totally forgot us and didn't text and gave our table away. Every other customer came in and sat upon arrival. We left after wasting our dinner time now it was after 6, and had to go down the street to another restaurant. would never recommend them. I have been to the one in Orlando a few times and the food has been good. The Clermont location is terrible. The Parmesan Cheese Chips appetizer arrived cold, no doubt a result of the slow service. My wife and I both had salad. Hers was suppose to contain goat cheese, but there was scant little if any in the salad. Mine was one of their "Favorites", the Zingers Salad. The zingers looked as if they had been under a heat lamp for days, dry and tasteless. I asked for blue cheese dressing instead of the vinaigrette, big mistake. It was watery and devoid of anything resembling blue cheese. Truly a disgusting meal. Oh, the beer was good. They have Fat Tire on draft. Worked well washing down the awful food. read more

The weirdest thing happened tonight at Miller's. After a long day of work, I arrived at the bar and ordered a tall Miller Lite on draft and was looking forward to watching the NBA Playoffs as well as some MLB action! The waitress at the bar asked for my ID, in which I gave her. She examined it for half a minute, and then gave it back to me. It is an out-of-state Driver's License, so I really didn't think much of it besides that. Shortly after, the manager comes up to me with a book that has every state's ID on it. She starts questioning me on my birthdate as well as my address!?!? I am 27 years old with a full beard... this has never happened to me. I will no longer be a customer at Miller's Ale House due to some terrible service. I couldn't even get a beer at the local sports bar and watch a game! Just a true shame!! Be aware! read more
