Arrived here with my family to grab a burger from their lunch specials menu.The interior is enormous with a spacious outside covered patio with a round bar. We initially sat at a high-top table next to the outside bar and was greeted by a bubbly bartender who provided menus and explained the specials. There was a cool breeze coming through the patio. Unfortunately we had to venture into the interior dining room since a patron was chain smoking cigarettes at the bar creating an undesirable atmosphere (it was an immediate downer but wont make that mistake twice). The restaurant had an odd almost eerie silence with only ten patrons joining for lunch - maybe due to the holidays. Plenty of wall monitors displaying sports throughout with a peek of the kitchen behind the bar. We were assigned a different server for the duration who was super attentive and gave off a chill vibe. Ordered a plate of zingers for my family and the Cheeseburger and fries which were calling my name at only $10.99 was a great lunch special price. This was our first visit to this Millers location and the food seems consistent. My burger was thick and juicy with crispy thin fries, so I was very pleased with my meal and my cousin loved his zingers too. The gender assigned bathroom was basic with white tiled walls and porcelain brown wood inspired flooring with cracking in the main stall and a few other areas. This is not a five-star restaurant, this is getting five stars for being what it is, a laid-back chain restaurant with a bar. The food is decent and comes out quickly. The service is friendly and sometimes takes a little longer when it's packed. They have daily specials for food and drinks. We got the zingers over fries, and ate almost all of it. Bartender was nice. There were TVs everywhere with random things going on. It was very fun. Millers has some of the best French onion soup and next time I go I will try that to make sure it's still consistent :) read more

Cameron was the the host and he greeted us and had great customer service. He was great. Jada was our server and she was very attentive and she provide great customer service as well. She also was explaining the menu to us. The service was great and the food was great. We arrived pretty late to Ale house and we were greeted well. The kitchen closes at 1245 which last call for food. I ordered the Cajun pasta and for appetizer we ordered spinach artichoke. Came in with my wife last night to watch Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Ordered a couple of draft beers, they weren't as cold as I like, but acceptable. We ordered food: wings and a burger. The burger was ordered medium rare but came out well done. The manager apologized and offered to remake it, but we politely declined since my wife also didn't like the spice level, which wasn't their fault. We waited for the wings, but they never came. At that point, I didn't want to make a big deal out of it and just gave up. In the end, I had to request that the wings be removed from the check, and they comped the burger we returned. We were basically only charged for the beers. Nevertheless, it wasn't a great experience--ordering all that food and not getting to eat any of it. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was visibly unhappy and acted like he didn't want to be there. I don't take that personally, but it didn't help the experience. Went to Miller's for the first time in 7 years since I didn't like how they initially revamped their menu. I sat outside to take advantage of the nice weather. Started off with a merry berry margarita. It was so good that I had to order another one. I then ordered the potstickers and the Bavarian pretzel since they were listed as Miller's favorites. Both apps were really good and the dipping sauces for the dishes were really good. I then ordered Mimi's fiesta bowl since it was also listed as a favorite. The dish was ok. Would I get it again? Probably not. The lettuce was kind of overkill so I probably should've said light lettuce. But overall, everything was good. Our server Louie was exceptional. In all my years of dining out, I think she's the first server that packed up our food and that definitely stood out. This Ale House was particularly huge, with the usual sports bar feel. When we arrived the bar was nearly empty but the bartenders weren't particularly attentive. The drinks were ok and the mozzarella sticks were good but had awful presentation and not enough sauce (as exhibited below). The entrees were also only ok. This is a very middling review for a nothing-special place, which bums me out because I practically lived at Ale House in the aughts and their new menu looked so exciting. read more

Had the fish and chips. Some pieces were cooked and crispy. Others were soggy. Sent the dish back. I really wanted to give this place another chance, but unfortunately my experience was just as disappointing as the first time--if not worse. To start with a positive, Brianna, our waitress, was excellent. She was attentive, friendly, and provided great service throughout our visit. No complaints at all on that front. However, the overall ambiance completely ruined the dining experience. From the moment you walk in, you're hit with a strong smell of cigarette smoke. It appears that smoking is allowed in the exterior area, but the problem is that the smell doesn't stay outside--it lingers heavily inside the main dining area. Tonight it was especially overwhelming, even more noticeable than my previous visit. A big part of the issue seems to be the automatic sliding doors, which constantly open and stay open due to people walking in and out or standing near them. Because of that, the smoke just keeps drifting inside, making the entire restaurant smell like an ashtray. This was my second time dining here, hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately it wasn't any improvement. Between the persistent cigarette smell and the lack of separation from the smoking area, it really takes away from what could otherwise be a decent place to eat. A group of us showed up last night to watch the Georgia game and found a table outside. The host was kind enough to put the football game on two different TVs for us, which we were very appreciative of. We stayed for almost 4 hours and our server, Mark, was the absolute best! We have been here several times and the food before was always good. Today? Huge disappointment. The ribs were dry and my steak was OK, but not that good. We both had a baked potato - they looked as if they had been baking in the oven since the dawn of Egyptian civilization. No amount of butter or prayers to the ancient Egyptian god of the dead could resurrect these potatoes. They were mummified. Our server was good and immediately got us mashed potatoes and gravy instead. But even the mashed potatoes were lumpy. Chewy mashed potatoes are not my favorite. Main priority at this restaurant is to fight with a customer but one large ice cube for a $14 shot of whiskey harass you tell you it's a dollar up charge then two dollar up charge and a five dollar up charge and even if you say OK all three times they still tell you you're not allowed to have it. It's for special drinks only and they're not allowed to take it out of the ice cube tray and we couldn't even chew the prime rib. The sides of coleslaw ( not cream based) and then mashed potatoes were great compliments to the rib. For dessert I enjoyed the key lime pie.! A great combination of sweet and tart.
