Nice brick facade and easy to find.

We are in the Lake Lanier area as visitors. Number one son is showing us all the interesting places and things. Food wise it's been a roller coaster. The trend is upwards with the excellent experience we had at Miller's Ale House. Great vibes inside with friendly service from Tiffany and we appreciate the times the manager walked by to see if all is going well. This caring shows up in the dishes we ordered. The wow factor was in the Wing Day special we ordered. Ofcourse we've had wings at other places, but the ones we got at Miller's Ale House excelled. Lunch specials were on the menu and the lovely missus says her tasteful Onion soup and salad combo were a good pair. The Pork Osso Buco came perhaps a bit burned around the edges, but number one son did not stop and with the "shell" version of pasta in the creamy Mac&Chz, found him enjoying his meal. My Pub Fish and Chips with French Fries/Cole Slaw and a side of a vegetable medley satisfied my hunger.... back and forth we ate wings and our chosen meals. In the end we had some wings left for a "to go" box. Tiffany asked if we were up for dessert, but the lunch with the wings filled our needs. Thanks for great wings, good lunch specials and great service, certainly Miller's Ale House will be one of the highlights of our visit to Lake Lanier.

Food decent for a bar type, options for seating, good place to watch your favorite game and enjoy a signature cocktail or in tap beverage!

Great place for beer and football Food is Ok.. bar food .. a little better than Buffalo Wild Wings .. selection of taps is great. Service at the bar is perfect .. check in the bar with Johnathan. Job well done

Stopped in for a quick bite. Haven't visited a location since I lived in Orlando. It gave a similar look and feel. Our server was super sweet and took our order immediately. My team was playing so I was glued to the tv. I got the house margarita and spinach and artichoke dip. It came out piping hot! The margarita was alright. The dip was hot but lacked a smooth consistency. I'm used to a velvety dip. This was not it. I ate it none the less as my team lost a home game. SMH. Overall, great experience. I will be back Dawsonville! #ashsaidit

The Cobb salad was great. The potstickers were good. The garlic parm wings were "meh". The place was hoppin'. Lots of choices on the numerous TVs in the bar area. The service was "ok". The bartender never cracked a smile. Maybe "A" was having a bad day. She did make a good mocktail for my wife. I wish I could give a 3.5 but that's not an option.

Millers Ale House is a great place to splurge on a nice juicy steak, to seafood and chicken. This location in Dawsonville, Georgia offers great seating arrangements from the typical dinning from to a closed porch which can be opened during the right seasons with their garage style door. Their food is pretty good, but service is better. I have not yet had a bad experience. The staff seems to know to not bug you every 2 minutes and spaces their rounds out perfectly (roughly 8 minutes). However, speed is not really their motto. It took nearly 20-25 minutes to receive our food. Which is not really terrible, but it might clarify that the food may not be frozen like most places. Service: 9/10, Speed: 6/10 The food is mediocre to semi excellent. I ordered the Mahi Sandwich, however I didn't really want the bread and all. I was able to request no bread or filling. The fish was broiled and seasoned well (You also have grilled and blackened options). The only complaint is the fish seemed a smidge dry. It did have a nice semi crispy glaze on top. The mashed potatoes were pretty good. Maybe needed a little more seasoning but all in all, I'd give the fish a 7/10 and potatoes 8/10. The sweet tea is good, not overly sweet but not perfect. No rating needed for drinks. Overall; I do plan on coming back, but there are better options out there.

    Wings with mild sauce

Meh...just chain restaurant bar food. I will preface this with the fact that I prefer local "hole in the wall" restaurants. This place is maybe an upscale Applebees. The food was okay. Service was pretty good. But all in all just okay. We had the wings with mild sauce, regular cheeseburger with house made chips and 'Cue bacon cheeseburger with fries. The wings were a decent size and meatiness but there was more sauce on the plate than the wings. Almost as if rather than tossing the wings in the sauce they put the sauce on the plate and then the wings on the sauce. The burgers were cooked to order correctly and had a decent flame broiled flavor. But there was also a gas flavor to them. Like you could taste whatever kind of gas fueled the flame. We are new to the area and had never seen this restaurant before so gave it a try. Probably no need to go back.

The food was pretty good at this location. I got the bowl and asked for extra lettuce and no rice and they didn't put extra lettuce on it so I was still hungry. Luckily I ate some of my husband's salad. If I come back here I'll get a salad or try the zingers.

Busy Black Friday. Stopped in for late lunch and we were told it would be a half hour wait so we opted to sit at the bar. The bartender came right over with menus and took our drink orders. They had tvs going with all the sporting events. World Cup, college football and Basketball. Noise level about average for a sports bar. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time even though we'd been told they were backed up as the restaurant was packed!! Food was decent. Nothing spectacular. My fries were just warm and probably had been sitting under a heat lamp. Onion rings very good. Staff very friendly and service was good overall.

They only offer one size but the pints are always served ice cold and are very fresh. Ambiance. They always have the best music on the televisions with videos, it is an 80s mix most regularly and the volume is great for a place to hang out and chill with friends. They also offer a karaoke night and have live music on weekends. We have never heard a band here we did not enjoy. Comfort, large clean dining area, and with the music you do not overhear every conversation around you while you are sitting at a table or booth but you can still converse easily. When this location opened in Dawsonville, they definitely were a solid 5/5 stars in every category. The food was cooked to order and seasoned to perfection, and the service was always fast and good. For the first few months, there was a line for a seat on most nights. Our last several visits have left us highly disappointed in the food category and the service. On our last two visits, our food took forever and arrived undercooked and cold. These were not busy times, and there were lots of staff members. It took 37 minutes before our waitress came to our table to take our drink order on the last visit. Once we ordered our beer and shrimp appetizer the food arrived quickly, and the fried Buffalo shrimp was excellent. I asked for napkins and serving plates and we finally decided to use our fingers to eat the fried shrimp while it was still warm. The shrimp appetizer had plenty of sauce, which we like but with no napkins, our tails were left on the table and we had to go to the restrooms to wash the sauce off our hands. We waited fifteen minutes after our shrimp was done to catch our server's attention and ask about our beers and place our entree order. I again asked for napkins and plates. We ordered wings and asked for them to be cooked so that the coating was crispy and extra sauce on them. When they arrived at the table, they were dry, and the skin was still stretchy. I returned to the restroom and returned to our table with a handful of the roller paper towels so we could begin to eat. When our server arrived with our beers, I again asked for napkins and plates to put the bones on. and she went and grabbed them for us. At the end of the evening, the restaurant was still only half full on a Saturday night. It was no wonder for us as to why their business seems to have dropped substantially. Our $72 bill for dry, undercooked wings and poor service was not worth the cost. While I would say it could be an individual staff issue, this was our fifth visit with the food and service having been terrible. It is most likely a management or lack of management issue. We will most likely return for the Buffalo Shrimp appetizer, cold beer, and great music but will pass on the wings and other entree menu items until they get their act together.

This time we came after hiking all day and sat outside with our dogs. Ambiance-touristy Irish pub. It's a big place that still tries to be Irish-ish. They fail but it's a worthwhile effort and people seem to like it. One issue with the design-it's a huge place but they have 2-single person bathrooms-one next to the bar and one on the second floor. I don't even understand how you get a building permit with that occupancy and so few bathrooms. My wife and I each got a burger, sub veggie patty. They are getting 2 stars for the fact they don't upcharge for the vegan patty. Everyone upcharges for a veggie burger, so this is an impressive give-a-way to customers. However, I added mushrooms and roasted red peppers, which added $2 each, and gluten free sandwich bread, which was a $5 upcharge. First, those veggies should not be a $2 upcharge each. That's obnoxious. Your menu burgers have toppings and are cheaper than a plain burger with 2 veggies. But, I am not taking stars away for the upcharge. I saw them, I accepted them. My problem is that with those changes, this was a $25 burger at an Irish pub in north GA and it tasted like a $5 burger from an Irish pub in north GA. It was dry, unseasoned, and very bland. You charged me $5 for 2 slices of bread from a loaf that costs $7.99 retail. A red pepper is $0.75 cents, maybe, retail, and for a couple teaspoons you charged me $2. Who knows what mushrooms cost, but the point is, for two toppings and sub 2 slices of sandwich bread, you charged me for a high-end steakhouse burger and served me a terrible backyard grill burger. On top of that, I ordered a whiskey (knob creek) on the rocks. On my check was a $2 rocks charge. So...you charged me $2 for ice? It makes no sense. It's the same amount of liquor. When I asked the server about it, she said because they pour an extra 2 ounces in. Obviously she lied because she had no clue what she was talking about. First, why would adding ice equal and extra 2 ounces? Maybe if I asked for an up martini or something, but I am adding volume, so why would you also add liquor? Second, my whiskey was $13 and a restaurant shot is 1, maybe 1.5 ounces. Do you really mean to tell me you gave me an extra 2 shots, maybe an extra 1.33 shots of a $13 liquor for $2 only because I asked for ice? I'm not an idiot. So, poor food, lying service, and unreasonable upcharges. I'm not coming back
