I ordered boneless wings tossed in garlic parmesan sauce that said on the menu that it came with celery sticks. (I did eat 2 boneless wings before I took this photo and I did get the dipping sauce). My husband and I love eating here, but not yesterday, Aug. 19. I have enjoyed eating the Oriental Chicken salad since it was first introduced many years ago. Has always been so good. Ordered it yesterday. The chicken was and almonds were almost non existent. Had a lot of the breading from the chicken, but you almost needed a microscope to see the chicken. Tiny little 3/4 (if that) pieces. What was there was so overcooked and dry, it was tasteless The chicken in this salad has always been so good, but not yesterday. I brought it to the attention of the waitress, but she just shrugged it off. I never ask for a reduction in my bill but I would like an acknowledgement of my complaint. Uh oh... I'm hoping today was just an off day, but it was my first experience here so it was a bad impression. I ordered take out, so no complaints on the service. I opened the bag when I got home and realized that my boneless wings were missing. So, no food for my son. The cheeseburger I ordered for my other son was assembled awkwardly, so the cheese melted half onto the platter and the other half didn't have cheese on it. Also, the bun was pretty tough. The chips that came with the spinach dip should really be called crumbles. They were mainly broken and couldn't really scoop anything. Exceeded expectations. The drinks are cheap and the food is affordable. Everything came out fresh. Charm took great care of me and had many great recommendations for from the menu. I came hungry and left satisfied. The booths are comfortable and I appreciate the height of the tables so you don't have to hunch over to eat. First off--I had sworn off Applebee's years ago because of the sharp decline in quality at seemingly all locations over the past 10 years. But this weekend, we decided to give it another try, as my son really wanted their boneless wings. When we entered the lobby, there was maybe 2 tables occupied. Restaurant was pretty empty. We waited for about 3 minutes waiting on a host/hostess to acknowledge us and act as if they wanted our patronage. Staff would walk back and forth giving strange glances, until finally someone came and seated us. (NOTE: There was also no visible score in the front, which was concerning.) After being seated, we wait for 5-10 minutes before our server, Lyndsey, finally came to take our order. She was friendly, but would be gone extensive periods of time (in a dead restaurant) before checking on us. Two female servers sat at a table and seemed to take a breather instead of...work. I have dined at this location several times and I walk away feeling like the food is just okay, and nothing special. Nothing all that compelling that makes me want to come back again soon. I usually order steak, and I think maybe that's the problem. Not a lot of flavor. A bit tough. The side dishes of mashed potatoes and broccoli were pretty good though. The staff are friendly. I went to Applebees a week ago. Though there were 8 booths and 5 tables that were empty, we were told we had to wait 30 minutes because "the kitchen was slow." We were required to stay in the waiting area rather than at one of the empty booths/tables. We were seated early after 20 rather than 30 minutes in one of the empty booths in wbich I had previously asked to occupy. The lighting is very dark. I had to use a flashlight on my phone to read the menu. However, our server was very nive and the food was good. Overall, we had a good meal which was the primary reason we were there. The restaurant needs to remodel by having brighter colors and lighting. Others must be noticing this as well since the restaurant was only 75% full. read more

Had not been to this location before ...but great service Had Cheese bacon burger and Fish n Chips ( come w 3 pieces ) onion rings best I've had in a while too - crispy and the breading ( Panko?) stayed on Burger done with pink ( medium )just perfect ! Artichoke spinach appetizer good too but could have been hotter but was good and Chips crispy! They have screens at each table where you can reorder drinks and also pay if you want when they're really busy which is super handy All in all a great experience and we will be back read more

I ordered online for curbside to go. I get there and open link to let them know I'm here. I get a message saying they have no record of my order to contact restaurant. I call and as I am on phone explaining what happened employee comes out asks my name and says he has my order. The food was good but no condiments at all! Ordered a cheeseburger didn't customize it. No condiments on the side or on burger. My husband ordered fish & chips no tartar sauce. Ordered five boneless wings with ranch & blue cheese dressing . No dressing. Okay, so i have legitimately no clue how to describe how bad this place was. I understand why people dont come to applebees. The vibe was off, felt like we were being watched the whole time. We got some boneless wings, which really vinegary and gloopy(honestly, i could've microwaved them better). The chicken tenders were okay, but i mean-- come on, i could've made that at home. Also, the manager dude was eyeing my table like a hawk and i couldnt get a moment of peace; it was very bizarre. The whole environment was dingy, the food was bad, and most importantly-- it was food i could get in my microwave for easily triple the cost. Used to go here all the time with by best friend to grab a few drinks and catch up. And always had a fantastic time. Stopped for a while due to some personal reasons went back a few months later and was treated AWFUL, server acted like helping us was just WAYYY too much to ask of her (kaylee I Think was her name) and when I asked to get an extra shot with my drink because it tasted like straight up Hawaiian Punch I was informed that they suddenly have a 2oz max per person policy (literally never have been told that EVER here) then she brought out completely wrong food and when they finally did bring the right food it was cold af like to the point where I couldn't even mix up the artichoke dip because it was completely solid. I've worked in food a long time and this was up there with some of the worst service I've ever received. Haven't been back since and don't plan on going bad for the foreseeable future. read more

The worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time, and most restaurants have been pretty terrible lately when it comes to a group of 8 or more people. We got there around 9:20 there was 16 of us so we knew it was going to take time. But it was absolutely horrible! And the restaurant was pretty much empty, just us and 2 other tables of 4 or less people. Our waitress kept going around the table asking us who was together and asking us what we wanted to drink. She couldn't remember who was with who, she couldn't remember who ordered what, she forgot drinks. And it took absolutely forever to get our food. Finally get our food around 11ish and then we're all waiting for our checks, which she once again couldn't remember who was with who on each check and the last 3 checks that she had to get straight and print out took another 30mins and she got the "help" of her manager, who if he was a good manager would have comped some stuff instead of just blaming the computers and apologizing for how long it was taking. We had small children with us as well and we didn't get out of there until past midnight. I will never eat here again. No excuse for such terribly slow and bad service. Visited recently with my dad and little sister. We walked in and we weren't "noticed". We were seated and everything was fine from there. The food was good, our waitress was nice; but when we went to leave, we were bluntly ignored. The lady deliberately turned around and acted like she didn't see us, yet proceeded to tell someone else to have a great day... they weren't even leaving lol. July 22, 2020 - This is by far the cleanest and friendliest Applebee's that I've been to in probably 15 years!!!!

Right out of the gate things went south. When you bring diabetics sweet tea after emphatically ordering unsweetened tea is a sign things are not going well. We ordered cheeseburgers and fries and two teas. It took forever to come. 30 minutes later I got room temperature fries and a pretty good burger. The bill was $30???? Had it been the best cheeseburger I ever ate with flawless service it should not have commanded thirty bucks. Plus a lively Friday after work bar crowd was borderline unruly. It will be a long tome before I consider returning. read more

Awful experience here today! The only word spoken to us while we in the restaurant was "Two?" by the completely unwelcoming hostess. We were seated and totally ignored for 20 minutes before deciding to leave. It was nearly 2 in the afternoon and the place was not anything remotely close to busy. As we walked out, the same hostess was so engrosed in whatever was on her phone that she never even glanced up. I gave a loud, "Goodbye! Have a nice afternoon!" to the diners as we left. They have redone this location and the food and service is much improved! Today for lunch we had the Shrimp and spinach salad which was very good. My only complaint was the salad dressing had over 300 calories and was loaded with bacon bits. Tasty, but so unnecessary! My wife had the Club sandwich which was delicious, but a bit too much Mayonnaise. Our server kept our drinks full and was attentive. I hate to give a bad review but the food was appalling . Let me preface this by saying I have been eating at Applebee's restaurants for 30 years and had a few Friends work there as store and regional managers. So I don't give this review lightly. I went in New Year's Eve. They were not busy at all which was surprising . I was seated immediately . However . It took a while to get a server . A matter of fact the couple that came 5 minutes after me got attended to first . I ordered a cheese dip appetizer and the Bourbon street chicken . The cheese dip dish was barely full . It was a joke . In all my years eating this there it was a small amount and cold . The Bourbon street chicken came and it was horrible . The chicken was overcooked and you could barely cut it . It was chewy and had soapy after taste . Imagine a piece a chicken microwaved to long And getting hard . Then cov-19 treated . The garlic mash potatoes lacked garlic . The only thing worth a penny was the cocktail I got . It was the worst $30 a meal I have ever had . read more

Tonight, a Monday night with only about 15 tables with customers, it took us an hour and forty-five minutes to get our meal. When our meals arrived my wife just had a bare piece of grilled chicken on her plate. She had ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken. The waitress told her that her red potatoes were still not ready. 25 minutes later they brought her some fried potatoes with no seasoning. At least the manager allowed her to return the meal and not have her portion put on our tab. A table next to us ordered a burger with brisket on top but when there food came out there were told they did not have brisket. I would recommend to go anywhere else. read more
