Had not been back since 2023 ! The French Onion soup was decent, the service was good and we also ordered the chicken quesadillas which were good but had no cheese and had scattered black beans inside (odd). Used doordash to order Prime Rib for the Thursday night special. It was so tasty and is worth a return order. The loaded baked potatoes was exactly what you would expect. Not bad or good just ok. It has been a while since I had a zinger mountain melt. It's been a go to for me in the past. Unfortunately, the chicken strips weren't as plump or juicy like before. The fries are still really good though. The cheese sticks are kind of thin, but decent tasting. The server was kind, helpful and patient. Don't get me wrong, Ale house has some really fantastic food choices, and it's a great place to catch a game with friends. This Ale House is in Doral, right across the Doral Central park. We were trying to find a spot to eat after playing tennis and there was a ton of spots to choose from on this road but settled on Ale House. It was a great decision because we were seated pretty quickly and the service was fast and friendly. As far as experiences at Ale Houses, this one was one of my most pleasant, which is why I gave it five stars. The outside area is the bar, so it was loud with music. There were 11 TV. While looking over the menu, some of the appetizers seemed a pricey but the drinks were affordable. Our waitress (Yamile) came 5 minutes later at 7:50pm. We placed drink order, which was waters. She didn't return with our drinks until 7:59pm. We placed order at 8:02pm. I got the Father's Day special with vegetable medley and mashed potatoes. I also got the Tito's strawberry lemonade. My son got the kids burger with vegetable medley. The drink came at 8:09pm and the food came at 8:21pm. We enjoyed our food and it was a pleasant experience. The attentiveness of waitress could've been better. -- I went again the next day a little after midnight, solo, to grab food. I sat at the outside bar. I ordered a top shelf Long Island and 12 wings (garlic parm) and fries ; you can only split the sauce for 24 ct wings. The food came about 15-20 mins after ordering and I enjoyed it. Walked in as a party of 8 for a late night dinner. The restaurant was pretty empty with plenty of open tables. We waited an hour and still no table available to seat us. The kitchen was "backed up". There were still several hours until close. Our party ended up leaving as we did not feel welcomed to dine in at the restaurant. I have been to this location in the past, but unfortunately I ask all future patrons to beware. I was in a large group and requested that my bill be separate from the others (avoid confusion) Turns out that I was billed almost $9 for a drink I didn't order. This was my fault because I didn't scrutinize the items on my bill before signing off. However, this is a very sneaky and underhanded thing to do. Moving forward, I recommend you double check your bill (onsite) prior to leaving, otherwise you're probably gonna have a couple of things added to your bill, without you knowing about it. Server Yamile was not attentive at all to me or my friend while waiting us. She did not come and check on us to make sure the food was good for us or even try to accommodate the fact that we waited over an hour for wings and fries. There was a table of men that sat beside us 45 min after we were sat and they were served food and drinks and left before we were even able to get our checks. After asking to be compensated for the lack of service we were fortunately but no manager came by to ask what the issue was with our visit.
