Truthfully would give this Miller's a 3.5 stars but half's aren't available so unfortunately I'm rounding down for this visit. I came for a quick bite before a movie and had the Smashed Queso Burger. Honestly I was impressed by how flavorful it was as it had a good balance of cheese, sautéed veggies, and meat. I would order it again! And I've never met a fry I didn't like and these were good but certainly were missing the freshness and crispness of great fries. As for the ambience, I came here during a Dolphins football game and it was fun time all round with great energy as you would expect for a sports bar. Unfortunately the service is where I felt Miller's was lacking. Once we were given our menus our server did not return to check in on us for quite a long time. I am understanding of it being a busy night but it appeared like our server had actually disappeared. Once we got our order in the food came out quickly and hot which was nice. However once we were ready to pay and leave...poof server vanished again. We had to ask another server to help contact our server. What can I say; it's a sports bar, so my expectations have to be comparable.. haha. Lots of tv screens, each broadcasting a different team and various sports; that's a big plus. Lots of beer choices on tap; another big plus. Great space inside and cool covered outdoor seating and bar; awesome. Good American pub food with a few healthy choices (and the menu includes the calories count for all dishes). Staff is fairly friendly, but service is a bit slow and it gets worse as more customers are seated. For a neighborhood sports bar, I give it 4 stars and recommend it for a fun sports-filled afternoon. Order an ice cold beer and enjoy the company and the game. read more

Came here the other day with my boyfriend for lunch and we were so happy with everything! We both had the half rack and it was sooo good! They also have specials on pitcher drinks! This is a great sports bar you can come and have drinks and great food. We decided to sit in the outside area just to have more fresh air especially now during COVID 19 times. The service was great, our server made sure to pass by our table several times making sure everything was good. We came here with a group tonight and I left pretty unhappy with the experience. The meal started off fine and I thought the appetizers we ordered; calamari, cheese sticks, and spinach dip were fine. I ordered wings to play it safe with fries. The wings were fine but my fries never came. We never got water refills and our waitress was no where to been seen most of the time even though it wasn't busy. When the check came she tried to charge me for the fries and for a drink we sent back because the bartender did such a bad job on it. Each order that I've placed has carried well to our home and it has been hot and ready to serve and eat. As far as sports bars go, Miller's Ale House in Doral is a very safe bet. We sat inside, although they have an outside patio area. Our server was new and unfamiliar with many of the items, but he made up for that with his enthusiasm. I had a special that was posted on the board: scallop pasta. Our server went back and checked, verifying it came with blackened scallops, mushrooms, red peppers, spinach. The presentation was really nice -- not what you would expect from a sports bar. I do have a criticism, though it worked in my favor. The scallops were not blackened at all! However, I actually prefer my scallops more natural, and usually worry that blackening them just masks any fishiness from being frozen.
