It came with the sweet Thai sauce. Very yummy! It was also fried to perfection and I thought the seasoning was perfect on it. I tried the classic burger and it came with pretty much everything that a classic burger comes with at every other place. (Tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, cheese). My burger meat was perfectly cooked just how I requested. I thought the burger patty itself was a little bland. It didn't have any flavor to the ground beef. I liked that it was a pretty thick burger, though. I also liked that they had a variety of beers to choose from at this spot. read more

Nice place, good service and excellent food. I had the Cajun Chicken Pasta, because they aren't serving the corned beef and cabbage until the 15th (then why show me?). It was excellent. Very tasty. The restaurant has a huge tap beer selection, which I love. I had to show ID to order a beer, I'm closer to 60 than 50 and look it, so I assume they have been busted for serving minors. My real issue is $8.50 for a beer. That is ridiculous. For that money I should be at a sporting event, a concert or a go-go bar. Food was SO good! Got the fried cauliflower and who would have thought it would be SO good. I definitely recommend getting this as a starter. Great portion for how much it cost as well. Millers is a new restaurant so upon walking in there was a wait between 20-30 minutes which wasn't a problem . The waitress seemed a little impatient as we were ordering and kept correcting us when she knew what we meant when we were ordering, which was annoying. Once we ordered , the food took a long time to come out . I ordered the center cut sirloin steak which was TOUGH and CHEWY ! I had to chew for 3 weeks before it would break down. The ribs were tasty , season very well and so were the mashed potatoes. The prices were reasonable so that's a plus . I would probably come back in the future just to try the other menu items . It's definitely worth a visit just my personal experience wasn't the best . read more

This was our first trip to Millers Ale House. The experience in the end, wasn't too bad. For first timers or those not on the mailing list, you can enjoy a free flatbread just by joining the club. We had the Mediterranean Flatbread using the coupon and it was pretty good. We tried the spinach dip, which was terrible. It looked like canned spinach, vs fresh spinach. It had the color of canned spinach. And it tasted like canned spinach. (It reminded me of Jefferson's Spinach dip that's only 2.99, and still not worth it.) With Sams Sports Bar across the parking lot (with divine spinach dip) they should improve the recipe or nix it all together. The salsa however, was great. The cheese planks I thought would be homemade. I could tell after one bite they weren't, but they weren't bad. They weren't overly cheesy, which I like. They were out of the Korean BBQ Cauliflower, which is what got me in the door to begin with. (That and the coupon mixed with some great yelp reviews, this place was on my list.) My husband and one of the kids loved the chicken sandwich and the zingers. We tried four of their sauces, and the sweet Thai chili was definitely my favorite. I tasted them with fries since I don't eat meat. We weren't offered dessert, although the apple cobbler sounded delicious. I have a rule though; I only buy dessert when offered. If not offered I stop by a bakery or sweet shop on my way home and give the money to someone else. On our way out the door I told my husband that with me being a vegetarian, and my first experience falling below expectations that it wasn't a place I'd probably return to. A manager overheard, and followed me outside to see what was wrong. I thought that was very kind, and it changed my mood a bit. I left with a 25.00 gift card, so I guess I can try the cobbler next time, and hopefully the cauliflower too. We spent 48.00 plus tip for our lunch, so getting half back towards a future visit, was nice. However, because my cup sat empty for 10 minutes, and a hostess who brought us our food refilled it, Phil only got a 6.00 tip. I'm typically a generous tipper, but expect good service. So long as managers pay attention like they did today, this place should be around for a bit. read more

Tucked neatly away in the Stones River Mall off Old Fort Parkway, I have a feeling this eatery is here to stay. Its been open for a few months, three or so. However the only way you will know may be perhaps the smell of fresh paint when you step into the neat rest room. This joint is huge with two bars in the center of the establishment. The claim they have over 70 brews to select from. I stopped by because I figured they will have some good burger choices and it had been a while since I sank my molars into a good beef patty, AND they did not disappoint in the least. I tried a double stack which they named the Double Bacon Cheeseburger. The quality of the meat came through to the taste buds. I like my bacon chewy so that was another check mark for them. That handheld was monster and once I was done with it, I was done eating for the day and this was around 2pmish... The staff was friendly. Our waitress was not very knowledgeable in brew options but she made it a point to answer any of my questions.. Try 'em, You should not be disappointed. This wasn't a special request. As you can see in the photo, they were dry as a bone. Ok, maybe they put it in the side? How nice of them! Now it won't be soggy. NOPE. So I had to grab whatever crappy condiments I had left in my fridge to "sauce" it up - ketchup YUK ha ha. The fries and zingers arrived hot and fresh. The fries were great. The chicken had nice crunch. But COME ON! If I wanted them dry, I would've ordered them that way. Let me start with the positive. My server was great. I came in with my great Dane puppy, and sat on the patio. My mother and a friend came and met me. The server was attentive and friendly, and even though he did forget a thing here or there I know how hectic it can be because I was a server once, and he always came back and apologized and made things right immediately and I have nothing bad to say. He was great. Now on to the rest. My food came out and I ordered the shrimp and steak meal. The steak was a 6 ounce sirloin and I ordered it rare. It was cooked wonderfully however, the cut of meat was very tough and was full of gristle. I found it very hard to cut an even harder to chew. Therefore I only ate about a quarter of the steak. Also the seasonal vegetables which were yellow squash and zucchini squash they were over cooked and mushy. I ended up feeding all of those to my dog that was with me. When the manager came around to check on us, I explained what was going on with the food that the vegetables were over cooked and mushy and that the meat while cooked properly was not a good cut of meat and you could barely get through it. At this point the manager was more concerned with playing with and petting my puppy that she just said that it was difficult to tell how the food is going to be and left it at that. I let her know that I was probably just gonna take the food home and feed it to my dogs, because I wasn't going to be able to eat it. She seem to be fine with that, and offered no resolution whatsoever. While I was not upset, and I didn't tell them that I wanted them to fix it as a manager, you should immediately offer a resolution when somebody is unhappy with what they received and openly says that they are not going to eat it because of that I will probably come back for a drink, but won't be back for the Food. read more

Miller's Ale House is Buffalo Wild Wings without the wings. A LOT of televisions, mediocre food, a variety of beer on tap but nothing local. There are a lot of tables, we were seated immediately on a Saturday at 7:00 pm- food came out quickly (beer took a while to arrive). Burgers were premade patties. Came here and got the Spinach Artichoke dip, Sweet potato fries, and the "Zinger honey bbq mac n cheese" When I say this was the best food that my fiancee and I had it isn't an understatement. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the mac n cheese was delicious and could give most southern grandmas a run for their money! The vibe of the store was not hectic (granted I came at lunchtime) and our server (Grace) did not rush us despite us being first timers. Very polite hostess as well! We're not sports people, but my husband and I are big fans of MAH. We frequent them when there is one in the area. We recently relocated to middle Tennessee and have started coming here about once a week. The food is excellent. The staff is wonderful. The general manager, Rob is a hands on kind of guy. If something isn't right, he's on it with a smile. Grace Ann, one of the supervisors is awesome and Rene & Shannon are our favorite servers. It's a neck and neck tie for first place. They are both fantastic. Intuitive. Sweet. Funny. On top of everything all the time. The food has been great and so is the service. We'll keep coming back.
