We have been excited for this place to open. We have attempted to go twice but have yet to get in. I get it. New place opening during snowbird season, I am not surprised that it has been busy. The reapn I'm rating this 3 stars is due to the fact that both times we were there, we had a terrible experience with the woman at the hostess desk. Both times, she was incredibly rude. The first time, it was the soft open, which we did not realize. When we walked in, she asked if we had a reservation. We were a bit taken aback because we have been to the location on Naples Blvd in the past and never needed a reservation. Plus, it's a sports bar. So we said that we didn't realize we needed a reservation and asked if a reservation was also required to sit at the bar. This is when she snapped at us that it was the soft open and no one was allowed in without a reservation. Whoa. Ok. So we left. We decided to try again a little over a week later. There were two young girls taking peoples names and cell phone numbers for the waitlist. We were then told that we could see if there were any seats available in the bar. We headed to the outdoor bar and noticed an empty table. My husband went back in to ask one of the young ladies if the tables in the bar area were for waitlist people or if they were serviced by the bartenders. Again, the same woman, injected herself into the interaction and barked that the tables were not for the bar patrons. We decided that we were not going to wait for a table at that point and left. Prime Rib was a joke, so thin nothing like Texas Roadhouse or Outback. Very slow service, forgot items we never got and also upcharged us for free sides, he said he forgot to tell us about the upcharge. I probably won't be back. read more

Waited an hour for our food to come and it did not come. Waitress took our orders and did not come back to check on us for over 20-30 minutes. When she did come back she told us our food was 8 minutes from being done, another 15 minutes went by. When we asked what was taking so long, we were told after almost waiting for an hour that they messed up a portion of the order. Why, wait so long to let us know? We then asked to just have the meals that are ready brought out but, turns out they were not done either. Was our order every put in? Did you forget about our order? We waited an hour for our food and we're told it would be 8 more minutes so we waited... 15 minutes later we were told that one of our orders was made incorrectly so they had to remake it... we requested for the rest of our tables orders to be brought out and they weren't ready either. I ate at the bar of this restaurant last night. While the food was good, but not terribly warm, there were other issues. After about (30) minutes , the a/c kicked on. After a few minutes it started feeling too cool, after (10) minutes, it was a cold breeze. I mentioned it to my wait person to no avail. After (20) minutes, I mentioned it to the manage, who, get this lowered it TWO degrees. I left after (30) minutes and the air was still blowing. read more

Went here yesterday for wing wednesday. Sat in the outside bar. No bartender for 15 minutes. We were about to go inside when she showed up. Ordered wings 30 minutes later they came and there were only 6 not 12. Horrible service to say the least. Wings were over done and dry. We will never go back!! Hate to see it when they are busy!! After seeing a movie with my friends I decided to go around the corner to Millers. When we got in, we were greeted with a casual environment and a short seating time, complimented with a nice big booth. The waiter was friendly and made sure to ask all the essential questions, however, the food did take rather long to leave the kitchen, which the waiter kept reassuring us it was coming out soon. This was soon forgotten though because when the food did arrive, it was more than exceptional. I got the Chicken Parmesan Alfredo, which was plated in quite a large portion, so large that i couldn't finish it and had to take it back home with me, which i devoured the next day because it was that good. I also tried one of the desserts which i thought were very good too. Their menu offers many different kinds of food so it was hard to make a decision at first, but i was definitely happy with what i ended up getting. When we were all finished and looking at our bills, we all agreed that it came out to a very reasonable price given how big the servings are, and also agreed that we should definitely come back again to try more of what they offer. We arrived for dinner and the Hostess offered us a Table in the Bar area and we asked if we could sit in the Dining area. She replied they would have to clean a table. We waited 20 Minutes for a table to be cleaned and when we were seated there were 8 open tables already clean. we sat and the next several parties were seated immediately at the other tables. we waited another 10 minutes before someone came to our table. We ordered a drink and appetizer and the app. was delivered Cold. The waitress did not come back to take our dinner order for an additional several minutes as she was occupied talking to customers at other tables. We spent a total of 2 hours for our dining experience and they were not that busy. I have visited Millers on the East Coast of Florida and they were great. This location needs to step it up with the service and never saw a Manager during our time. read more

We decided to order the prime rib special, which we ordered very rare. When it came it looked great,pink all the way across. After cutting into it I realized it was well done, just pink on the outermost edge. I think they must have brushed on a pink coloring! I don't recommend this restaurant. read more

Decided to try one more time due to the close proximity to my house but I won't be back. First time mediore, basically due to cold fries. This time after waiting at least 30minutes,we flagged down the waitress to ask about delay. We were one of four tables outside. Within a couple of minutes food miraculously arrived, luke warm to cold. When I informed waitress ( had her try a fry ), she did come back with hot fries. She said nothing about the ribs and told me how to reheat shrimp at home. Yeah, that's it for me. read more

Just left Millers and can't compliment it more. Have been to others and this one just opened. The staff were great, the food was very good. Waitress could not have been more attentive. Had wings and crab legs with a couple of good IPA's. Wife had chicken pesto ravioli. The wings and crab legs were on special so the price was outstanding. Couldn't be happier that this place is now just a couple miles from where we now live. The Regional Manager even came by the table to see how things were going. For a bar foodie in a relaxed atmosphere, this is now one of our new favorites. read more

Our experience with this Miller Ale House never got to the point where we were served food. I checked online and it showed that it was dog friendly. I still wasn't trusting that so when we got there, I checked in with the hostess and she said how many, to which I responded "3 adults and a dog." She said it would be a 15 - 20 minute wait. (There were actually two girls standing there so two people heard it) Since there were available spots inside and she never asked me if I wanted inside or outside, I assumed the wait was because we had a dog and the outside seating was full. I said that was fine. We sat on the bench outside and after 20 - 25 minutes, I was texted that our table was ready. My husband and I went in and she said 3? I said "yes, and a dog. My daughter will bring the dog in the outdoor seating entrance to keep from walking him through the inside restaurant." As we were getting seated, I opened the door for my daughter and her dog. I had no idea I was doing anything against the rules. We were seated looking at menus and a man came up to us and said "you can't have a dog in here and you are going to have to leave." I showed him on line where it said it was dog friendly and he said it wasn't. I said I even told the hostess and she didn't say anything. So without further conversation we left. I have no complaint that the place isn't "dog friendly" but I feel we should have been told that right from the point where I told the hostess we had 3 adults and a dog. This is the our first visit to Miller's Ale House in Naples, on Collier Blvd, since its opening a couple months ago. The atmosphere is great, parking great. The food is very good. I had sirloin steak done rare with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. The sirloin was, for the most part, pretty good. I mean, it was not a tenderloin, lets face it, but it was tender overall, and done to my liking. The mixed veggies were perfect, al dente, perfect, as far as I was concerned. My husband is not the al dente type, so he wasn't to pleased with being al dente. Whatever, I thought they were great. Mashed potatoes with gravy excellent. My husband had sirloin steak and breaded shrimp, which he did enjoy. I was reluctant to order the shrimp as it was breaded, and I do not care for breaded shrimp, preferring grilled shrimp. At any rate, his shrimp was very good, even to my standards not liking breaded shrimp. The breading was not overwhelming, just perfect actually. I must mention our waitperson, Julez. she was just what you would want in the perfect waitperson, attentive yet not overbearing, and she knew the menu perfectly to advise us as to any questions we might have had.
