I WISH I could give no stars. I've had bar food before but never this bad. Burger was unseasoned and had literally no flavor. The "peppered" bacon was tasteless, patty was cooked well but flavorless, like not even salty to make up for the lack of flavor. The fries were soggy and you can taste only the oil on it. Salad was a joke as well, frozen small thin pieces of steak and obviously old and black pieces of lettuce being used. Salad sounded great but was awful. Drink, strawberry mule was watered down, no kick of the ginger beer and was in an obviously dirty cup. (Outside dirty not inside) Table was covered in crumbs from the last people there and the host didn't even try to wipe it down before seating us then proceeded to clean everything around us. Service was awful, no two bite check, water came late and had to remind the server about it. Got the check and no boxes Togo since it was so bad. Two people, two meals barely touched. My now-ex girlfiend loved their pepperoni flatbread, tried ir a few times and it was ok, but she doesn't have high standards to be honest (including being with me, I was out-kicking my coverage fellas!) Seriously though, due to her always wanting that same pizza, I have made various selections to accomodate her, probably ordered 8-10 items from here. Burgers are decent, nothing special, cheesesteak good for the area, they have a spicy pasta which is probably my favorite item, but about 50% of the time is substantially short on sauce (or maybe overly reduced), either way, bread comes with it like you wanna dip it - but 75% of the time not even enough sauce to do so. Fettuccini is boring and also largely short on sauce. By biggest gripe hands-down? Ordering on GH or UberEats, you can check "include utensils." We have probably ordered from here 12-15 times, literally every time ask for utensils. Precisely zero times have we ever, ever received any whatsoever. It was literally a running joke between my gf and I, to grab silverware when the food arrived before bothering to check the bag. Given all of the above, 3-stars is probably generous, I guess at least they're open late - and maybe I'm reserving a star for my ex's love of their flatbread pizza. read more

Came back after a bad experience with the wait staff a long time ago. The service this time around was perfectly fine. My boyfriend and I had the tex-mex chile chicken nachos for an app. The serving size was HUGE and could definitely feed 4 people. The nachos were good but really lacking in toppings. Most of the chips underneath the toppings on top were completely dry. Would not get this app again for this reason. We also had the white sangria pitcher - about 6 glasses total for around $11. The sangria was delicious. Light, sweet, and refreshing. I'd definitely get it again. For my meal I had the pepperoni flatbread. Pretty basic but good! This is a rare restaurant that our whole family likes. We like to start with the pretzel or the cheese sticks, and for entrees our family likes the steaks, burgers, flatbreads, salmon, ribs, chicken blt, salads and soups. The only thing that we rarely order at Miller's is dessert - our teens (the dessert eaters) are not fans of the options. Miller's has quickly risen to the top of our list as our go-to (reasonably priced) restaurant when dinner plans at home have gone awry. The one caveat with Miller's (especially pre-pandemic) is to consider what games are on TV. If there is a big game, like all sports bars, it can be hard to get a table and they don't free up much until the game is "decided". read more

After waiting 5 minutes at the front for a hostess to show up, she stated would clean a table off for 2 of us. 10 minutes of waiting later, with at least 6 tables visibly open (we entered around 2pm), and seeing the hostess in the back chatting with other staff we decided to leave. It just seemed very odd. Once again the place was at least half empty. Not sure what the wait was about, went to Sweet Water Tavern instead and they were a much better experience. read more

Today's lunch spot was a hit! as you walk up to Miller's you cross over a bridge that has a little creek running under it. A gentleman held the door open for us as he greeted us at the door and welcomed us. We decided to sit at the bar with the hope of speedier service. The atmosphere is inviting. The restaurant is open and spacious. They have several TV's showing a plethora or sports programming. The bar is very large, situated in the middle of the restaurant and backing up towards the kitchen. They was also a smaller bar to the right off in an enclosed area and I did notice there was a smokers deck/patio outside as well. Our food was delicious and hot!! I had the 35 Shrimp with came with fries. Just for giggles we counted the shrimp and all 35 were there too! It was a lot of food for one person. One of my coworkers had the Fish and Chips while the other dined on the Apple Walnut Salad with Chicken. No complaints at all on the food. The breading on the shrimp was seasoned perfectly and they were not greasy at all considering they were fried. Service was good, the bartender made sure we had everything we needed, never let out glasses get empty. She initially gave us one check for the 3 of us and when we asked her to split it she did so without batting an eye. All in all, it was a good experience. read more

I love the food at Miller's. The server's are nice, and friendly and helpful. I have not had any food here that I did not like. So... You may be asking... Why the 2 star review.... Management... A few weeks ago I met a friend here for dinner. We both got the Prime Rib special. When they brought the two plates out, yes I wish I. Took a picture but my prime ribs was a nice thick cut, cooked to the temp I like and was good. My friend, her prime rib looked to be about half the size of mine. The fact that they let two plates of prime rib to to the same table, when the there was a serious difference in the two plates of prime rib was shocking. It should have never happened. But it did and I know why. I use to be a cook at a steak house and two words I heard many times a day said in the kitchen "Food cost". The piece of prime rib that my friend got, should have never left the kitchen. We flagged our server down who got the manger who apologized, and saiid he was in the kitchen and that should have never made it past him.. Nice for saying that... but food cost... He did take that back and to my friend a piece of prime rib that matched the one I had. Now... Last night... Takes the cake. Virginia has covid restrictions in place that say that restaurants need to do last call at 9:30pm and all alcohol needs to be consumed by 10pm and at 10pm all glasses / bottles of alcohol are to be removed from the table. We came here to eat, and watch a football game. A pivotal game that determined playoffs for the Washington Football Team. So lets go back to the VA state covid guidelines from the Virginia Department of Health website. Restaurants cannot have anyone consume alcohol after 10pm, and closing of all restaurant dining rooms at midnight. So after last call, restaurants can stay open, for food, until midnight. My friend asked the manager what time they closed and he told her 10pm. So we thought ok, MOST restaurants will close at a certain time, but will let patrons, people who are there to eat, spend money and pay the managers salary, time to be there to finish eating even after they close. At 9:45, this place was close to 100% capacity with the covid restrictions. Many patriots were wearing Washington Football Team shirts. As we were, they were there to see the game. So 10:00 comes, many people still here finishing meals and watching the game. There were a group of people across from us, we saw the manager walk up behind the person, and as this customer was about to take one last sip of his beer, this manager put his hands in this customers face, to block him from taking the drink and grabbed the bottle from him. Yes there is a 10pm cut off. Great, Millers is following the guild-lines to a T. But come on, Jesus. Where is C U S T O M E R S E R V I C E ? ? ? ? ? What the manager did was RUDE. And when they complained to him, he said they don't need to come here again if they don't like it. He was short, rude and a complete ASS to these people who had every right to be upset. They were okay with the cut off time. They probably lost track of time, and these customers did not have a problem with the alcohol being removed, but had a problem with the manager sticking his hand in this customers face and his attitude. OK.. Now that I have wrote this, I am dropping this review down 1 more star. 1 star review. Lowest I can give. MANAGER: These are TOUGH TIMES.... Restaurants are being hit extra hard. YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL for ANY CUSTOMER who risks going out to eat and patronizing your establishment. What you did was wrong. What the manager did was DISGUSTING. And if as a MANGER you cant handle things like this in a friendly manner, then you HAVE NO RIGHT TO WORKING IN A CUSTOMER FACING JOB. Food, 4,5 - 5 star Servers 4-5 stars Manager... NEGATIVE FIVES STARS. I know this party said they were going to write a bad review on help, and I hope they do and if they do and they see this review, We were just as horrified at the horrible attitude of the Manager. So, to end. 10pm hit, restaurants still had about 50% full of people, and at 10:01 all TV's were turned off so as we sat there finishing our meal, we could no longer watch anymore of the game. This again shows the lousy, disgusting attitude of this Manager. Miller's, you have a SERIOUS PROBLEM on your hand with this manager. Always fun to go to a new location.... Miller's is located where Don Pablo's used to be in the Target plaza. A sports bar with a mix of high and low tables. Was thrilled to see a friendly face when we sat down. Our server Bridgett came over from Starbucks. If she is around ask for her and tell her purple sent you. First up drinks.... i have to say yuck on the soda side.... I'm a Coca Cola person and currently they are a Pepsi shop. On the beer side they have a interesting selection on tap. Hubby noticed a printed sheet at the bar which helped him decide. On food.... hubby got a burger with mushrooms and Swiss. Fresh and tasty and cooked perfectly. I had the half rack of ribs and they were surprisingly good. A little heavy on sauce but since I liked the sauce it worked. I opted for sweet potato fries which paired well. We didn't get to desert options so can't comment. If your in the neighborhood a fun and tasty option. Of course if your a sport fan there are TVs all around so you should be able to catch your favorite game As they are new I went a little easier on my rating as they need to get some slight service glitches worked out. read more

Awesome food, awesome drinks, good service. Went in for a drink and some lunch and sat at the bar--super clean and kind of cozy, the atmosphere is inviting. My bartender was super sweet (think her name was Lee) sorry I'm awful at remembering names! My burger was delicious and cooked the way I like it. My drink was also delicious! Not super sweet, but a good balance, which makes a good drink! Only con I had was the hostess... When I walked in I asked for a table and the hostess responded "I don't care sit wherever" so I just looked at her and sat at the bar, shortly after I watched a family walk in and the hostess greeted them warmly and walked them to a table? We were out in Sterling shopping when we decided to grab something to eat. We didn't want the usual suspects, Burton's or Outback so we scoured Yelp & found this little gem. We were immediately seated in a booth (+) and the waiter took our drink orders and gave us a few minutes to review the menu. I got the sweet tea (not diabetes coma sweet) PERFECT I ordered the beef and white bean chili (NOM NOM) I just wished that it was in a bigger bowl (so greedy) lol I always try the foods restaurants are known for Entrees: Cobb Salad w/ homemade apple cider vinaigrette FRESH & HUGE 35 Shrimp w/fries and slaw: my eyes were bigger than my head...so good Zingers w/fries: the kid loved it We topped of the mill with the Apple walnut cobbler and to my surprise the apples were DONE...it was so good (Homer Simpson drool) We will definitely be back to try more menu items or at least to eat our favs read more

I use to be a fan of this place. Went so far down hill. Service and food so inconsistent. Manager over charged me for an item I never received and refused to refund it. I called the DM who said she would fix it and just lied and did nothing. What was once a really good place is now just a bad poorly run version of Applebee's. I will never go back. read more

Recently tried to get dinner at the Sterling, VA location. We waited for 5 minutes BEFORE a hostess finally arrived to seat the party of 2 ahead of us. We had a party of 3 and waited another 5 minutes before LEAVING after we noticed the hostess stayed in the back at the prep lining just talking. I have been here before. I guess service at the bar is better than outdoor seating. I was hungry for something, tired of sitting in the endless traffic on rte 7. Red light..red light...nobody awake behind the wheel..... I came out of Target and simply walked across the parking lot. I decided to sit outside since the weather was so nice. After a quick wait I ordered a PBR 16 oz. in the can. No happy hour on Saturday but the hostess said the food was on special. Ok, I can work with that. I decided on a bacon cheeseburger, no tomato. Cooked medium well. My beer is empty and no waiter. Another person drops my food off. I'm still dry, so I eat the burger (which was more medium) and crispy fries without even a glass of water. I had to hunt for ketchup and salt; a dude inside was clearing off a table and I asked and he said sure, and brought them out to me. Burger is now gone, beer is long empty, still no waiter. I'm tired of these games, I go inside and find my waiter. I get my check and he walks away from me, I want to pay and leave. I follow him and finally pay for my food and drink. Since opening this place has become our "go to" regular dining/drinking location. Extremely fair prices and the food is always fantastic. We are treated like regulars there and usually greeted by at least one manager and other staff. We definitely have our favorite bar tenders and always feel at home here. There's no better place in the area to watch the NFL on Sundays as well. They have struggled with the COVID crisis just as any restaurant/bar has done, but I commend them on doing the best job they can possibly do. We'll always consider Millers a second home. read more
